加热以永久性地附接所述型材可能要求大型的并且笨重的熔接机。针对高度倾斜的屋顶,这尤其具有挑战性。并且,将要求盖屋顶的人以直线导向所述系统以达到良好的外观,与此同时,将所述型材保持在适当位置并且在倾斜屋顶上维持平衡。
不幸的是,手工施加条是耗费时间的并且是个劳动密集型的工艺,增加屋面成本并且降低了由选择热塑性屋面代替金属屋面而获得的成本优势。手工的施加还增加了出错的机会并且不利于创建直的和/或平行的和/或等间距的线。本领域所需要的是快速的并且廉价的设备以及将热塑性条附接在热塑性屋面膜的方法。
发明内容
本发明的实施方案提供一种热塑性型材条及一种用于将所述型材条永久性地附接到热塑性屋面材料的熔接设备。此外,还公开了用于将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性膜的方法。
一方面,公开了一种改进的热塑性型材条。在这样的条的一个实施方案中,所述热塑性型材屋面条可以包括水平底座,所述水平底座纵向地延伸并且具有有凹口的轮廓。此外,所述热塑性型材条可以包括竖直(vertical)中间部分,所述竖直中间部分在一个边缘被侧面地(laterally)连接到所述水平底座并且垂直于所述水平底座。在这样的实施方案中,所述竖直中间部分沿所述水平底座纵向地延伸,以提供所述改进的型材。
另一方面,提供了一种用于将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性膜的设备。在一个实施方案中,这样的设备可以包括第一嘴以及第二嘴,所述第一嘴能够将热空气引导到热塑性型材条的第一边缘的上表面上,而所述第二嘴能够将热空气引导到热塑性型材条的第二边缘的上表面上。此外,在这样的实施方案中,所述设备还可以包括管状分配器,所述管状分配器能够同时将热空气供应给所述第一嘴和所述第二嘴。在更具体的实施方案中,所述第一嘴和第二嘴每个包括第一部分和第二部分,所述第一部分用来供应热空气,而所述第二部分被配置来在已经接收热空气的所述条的上表面上施加向下的压力。
在又另一方面,提供了用于将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性膜的方法。在一个实施方案中,这样的方法可以包括将热塑性型材屋面条放置在热塑性屋面膜上。这样的热塑性型材屋面条可以包括水平底座以及竖直中间部分,所述水平底座纵向地延伸并且具有有凹口的轮廓,所述竖直中间部分沿一个边缘被侧面地连接到所述水平底座,其中所述竖直中间部分沿所述水平底座纵向地延伸。在这样的实施方案中,所述方法还可以包括应用将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性屋面膜的设备。所述方法于是可以包括分开对第一嘴和第二嘴的热空气供应,并且使用所述第一嘴和第二嘴同时将热空气引导到所述热塑性型材条的第一边缘和第二边缘的上表面上。此外,所述方法于是可包括沿所述热塑性型材条的长度推进所述设备,以致所述第一嘴和第二嘴沿所述热塑性型材条的长度同时供应分开的热空气。

具体实施方式
热塑性型材条100如图1所示。型材条100可以根据所公开的原理被附接到热塑性屋面膜。热塑性型材条100优选地被生产成为一体成形的无缝热塑性件。热塑性型材条100的生产方法可以包括挤出、模制等。热塑性型材条100优选地包括直立(upstanding)中间部分105和相对的底部分(flange portion)110,所述直立中间部分沿所述条纵向地(lengthwise)延伸,所述相对的底部分从中间部分105横向地(widthwise)延伸。在一些实施方案中,相对的底部分110从中间部分105延伸从约0.5英寸至约1英寸的范围,并且在优选的实施方案中可以为约5/8英寸。相对的底部分110的长度可以取决于需要被支撑的直立中间部分105的高度。
在一些实施方案中,直立中间部分105的高度范围从约1英寸至约3英寸,更优选地从约2英寸至约2.5英寸。在优选的实施方案中,直立中间部分105的高度为1.25英寸。与直立中间部分105和相对的底部分110相反的是底面115。在优选的实施方案中,底面115为约3/4英寸。在可替换的实施方案中,底面115可以范围从约1/8英寸至约1英寸。在一些实施方案中,底面115可以用粘合剂涂覆。在一些实施方案中,底面115可以用压敏粘着剂125和防粘衬130涂覆。在一些实施方案中,粘合剂125可以是但不限于丁基橡胶粘合剂,并且防粘衬130可以是但不限于硅化纸。
直立中间部分105的上部分包括一体的钩状结构135。在优选的实施方案中,钩状结构135具有类似于倒置U的截面。在可替换的实施方案中,钩状结构135还可以包括边沿。在可替换的实施方案中,钩状结构135可以如下所述的那样是能够成为导向结构(guide)或与锁结构(lock)一起使用的任何截面形状。
在可替换的实施方案中,热塑性型材条100可以具有如图2所见的三角形截面形状。相对的底部分110可以包括有凹口的轮廓。所述型材将沿两个相对的底部分110的长度延伸。所述有凹口的轮廓可以是任何形状,例如方齿(未示出)或锯齿等。在连续的熔接期间,所述有凹口的轮廓可以使所述齿能够连同所述热塑性屋面膜段一起被加热。所述熔接机的脚于是可以在被加热的热塑性屋面膜之上“抹去”所述齿,以确保良好的熔接。
用于将热塑性型材条100熔接到所述热塑性屋面膜的设备300的实施方案如图3A-3B所示。在所有附图中,相同的标号被使用来描述设备300的相似的部件。在优选的实施方案中,设备300包括第一嘴400A、第二嘴400B、平台导向装置500以及分配器(splitter)600。此外,可以与本公开的所述型材条一起被采用的熔接设备的其他实施方案可以在申请No./,、律师案卷No.24170759.73的共同待审的美国申请中被找到,所述美国申请与本公开在同日递交,并且与本公开具有共同拥有人,且通过引用被整体并入本文。
图3A是设备300的侧视图,并且图3B是被连接到第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B的设备300的前视图。在优选的实施方案中,第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B是完全相同的,并且将仅描述第一嘴400A。分配器600将热空气供应给第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B。分配器600包括一入口610和多个出口620。在优选的实施方案中,分配器600由管状组件(例如配件)制作而成。在可替换的实施方案中,分配器600是一体制作的管状组件。包括入口610和多个出口620的分配器600的尺寸确定(sizing)将取决于第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B的尺寸确定,而所述第一嘴和所述第二嘴的尺寸确定将取决于热塑性型材条100。分配器600将被连接到热空气供应器(未示出),优选地是热空气枪。在可替换的实施方案中,设备300可以仅包括第一嘴400A。
第一嘴400A包括入口405和末端410。入口405会被连接到分配器600的出口620中的一个。末端410包括用于将热空气流递送到相对的底部分110的边缘的出口。在可替换的实施方案中,末端410被成形(shape)以被放置在相对的底部分110的所述有凹口的轮廓上。第一末端410的截面优选地被成形来跨所述有凹口的轮廓提供热空气的平稳流。而且,末端410的伸长的尖头轮廓允许热从末端410的后部被施加,与此同时,末端410的前端随着末端410沿型材条100移动而持续给熔接区域施加向下的压力。
如图3B所示,平台导向装置500能够使分配器600、第一嘴400A、第二嘴400B沿热塑性型材条100的直立中间部分105的长度移动。在一些实施方案中,平台导向装置500可以是自推进的,而在其他实施方案中,平台导向装置500由操作者手工推进。在优选的实施方案中,平台导向装置500包括平台505和导向结构510。在优选的实施方案中,平台505能够支撑所述热空气供应器以及相关联的部件。平台505可以由本领域的技术人员来定形(shape)并且定尺寸,以支撑平台505、导向结构510以及相关联的部件。
为了确保所述热空气和压力被施加到所述熔接区域,导向结构510沿热塑性型材条100的直立中间部分105行进。在优选的实施方案中,导向结构510截面为倒置U,并被确定尺寸以被放置在热塑性型材条100(优选地为钩状结构135)之上。导向结构510还可以包括导向滚子。在一些实施方案中,所述导向滚子被定尺寸以控制平台导向装置300的抬高。在一些实施方案中,所述导向滚子为硅胶滚子。在可替换的实施方案中,所述导向滚子可以由任何硬橡胶制成且具有光滑表面。在一些实施方案中,导向结构510还包括锁紧装置。所述锁紧装置被定形并且被定尺寸以与热塑性型材条100的钩状结构135连接。在一些实施方案中,所述锁紧装置为具有第一位置和第二位置的可移动的平台,所述第一位置用于提供通路以将导向结构510放置在直立中间部分105上,所述第二位置将所述可移动的平台放置为与热塑性型材条100的钩状结构135接触。在可替换的实施方案中,导向结构510具有用来安装在热塑性型材条100的所述截面轮廓上的截面。
在热塑性型材条100被熔接到所述热塑性屋面膜之前,使用粘合剂125和防粘衬130,热塑性型材条100可以呈直的平行线的方式被临时附接到所述热塑性屋面膜。在操作中,第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B如图3B所示地被定位。第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B优选地拖过所述齿并且足够长使它们同时覆盖数个齿。随着平台导向装置500沿热塑性型材条100的直立中间部分105移动,来自第一嘴400A和第二嘴400B的热空气喷射将所述凹口熔接到热塑性屋面膜200。末端410于是可以在被加热的热塑性屋面膜之上“抹去”所述有凹口的齿,以确保良好的熔接。

Claims (17)

1.一种热塑性型材屋面条,所述热塑性型材屋面条包括:
水平底座,所述水平底座纵向地延伸并且具有有凹口的轮廓;
竖直中间部分,所述竖直中间部分在一个边缘被侧面地连接到所述水平底座并且垂直于所述水平底座;并且
其中所述竖直中间部分沿所述水平底座纵向地延伸。
2.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述竖直中间部分还包括钩状结构,所述钩状结构沿一相对的边缘纵向地延伸。
3.如权利要求2所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述钩状结构还包括与所述钩状结构同延的边沿。
4.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述水平底座具有从约0.5英寸至约2英寸范围的宽度。
5.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述有凹口的轮廓具有方齿形状。
6.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述水平底座还包括在与所述竖直中间部分相反的表面上的粘合剂。
7.如权利要求6所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述水平底座还包括防粘衬。
8.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述竖直中间部分具有三角形截面。
9.如权利要求1所述的热塑性型材屋面条,其中,所述竖直中间部分具有从约1英寸至约3英寸范围的高度。
10.一种用于将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性膜的设备,所述设备包括:
第一嘴,所述第一嘴能够将热空气引导到热塑性型材条的第一边缘的上表面上;
第二嘴,所述第二嘴能够将热空气引导到热塑性型材条的第二边缘的上表面上;以及
管状分配器,所述管状分配器能够同时将热空气供应给所述第一嘴和所述第二嘴。
11.如权利要求10所述的设备,还包括:
平台;以及
导向装置,所述导向装置在所述设备的操作期间确保所述设备保持连接于所述热塑性型材条。
12.如权利要求11所述的设备,还包括热空气供应器,所述热空气供应器安装在所述平台上以将热空气供应给所述管状分配器。
13.如权利要求10所述的设备,其中所述第一嘴和所述第二嘴每个包括第一部分和第二部分,所述第一部分用来供应热空气,而所述第二部分被配置来在已经接收热空气的所述条的上表面上施加向下的压力。
14.一种用于将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性膜的方法,所述方法包括:
a)将热塑性型材屋面条放置在热塑性屋面膜上,所述热塑性型材屋面条包括:
i)水平底座,所述水平底座纵向地延伸并且具有有凹口的轮廓;
ii)竖直中间部分,所述竖直中间部分沿一个边缘被侧面地连接到所述水平底座,
其中所述竖直中间部分沿所述水平底座纵向地延伸;
b)应用将热塑性型材条熔接到热塑性屋面膜的设备;
c)分开对第一嘴和第二嘴的热空气供应;
d)使用所述第一嘴和第二嘴同时将热空气引导到所述热塑性型材条的第一边缘和第二边缘的上表面上;以及
e)沿所述热塑性型材条的长度推进所述设备,以致所述第一嘴和第二嘴沿所述热塑性型材条的长度同时供应分开的热空气。
15.如权利要求14所述的方法,其中放置所述热塑性型材条的步骤包括将所述热塑性型材条粘附在所述膜上。
16.如权利要求14所述的方法,其中推进所述设备的步骤还包括将所述设备上的导向装置接合于所述竖直中间部分,以确保在推进期间所述设备保持连接于所述热塑性型材条。
17.如权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述推进的步骤还包括沿所述热塑性型材条的长度推进所述设备,以致所述第一嘴和第二嘴的第一部分同时供应所述分开的热空气,并且所述第一嘴和第二嘴的第二部分在已经接收所述热空气的上表面上施加向下的压力。
