In a typical embodiment of absorbent cores 28 as herein described, when absorbent article is worn, absorbent cores 28 be oriented to make its first side towards wearer and its second side towards wearer's clothes. In this embodiment, first side also can be called as towards bodyside, and second side also can be called as towards garment side.
The surface of included first lateral each layer or material towards absorbent cores 28 will be named as the first surface of equivalent layer in the absorbent cores 28, will be named as second surface towards the second lateral surface of absorbent cores 28.
The first auxiliary binder layer 121 on the second surface that absorbent cores 28 comprises cover layer 130 with first surface and second surface, be deposited on cover layer 130, have the basal layer 100 of first surface and second surface, be the super absorbent polymer material layer (AGM) and the thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 of superabsorbent polymer particles (AGM granule) 110 forms usually.Randomly, absorbent cores 28 comprises the second auxiliary binder layer on the first surface that is deposited on basal layer 100.
Superabsorbent polymer particles 110 and thermoplastic adhesives 120 are comprised between the first surface of second surface and basal layer 100 of cover layer 130.
In order to describe the typical structure of absorbent cores 28, AGM granule 110, thermoplastic adhesives 120 and first auxiliary binder 121 and optional tired in this article " layer " that has first surface and second surface respectively that be called of second auxiliary binder.Yet these layers can be discontinuous, for example the first auxiliary binder layer 121 or AGM granular layer 110.So-called " discontinuity layer " is meant that said layer can comprise the open area, and said open area is substantially free of the material of said layer 110 self.
Thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can be collectively referred to as absorbed layer with AGM granular layer 110, and said absorbed layer also comprises first surface and second surface then.
Thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can provide by the form of microfibre.
Cover layer
The second surface of cover layer 130 can at least partly contact the first auxiliary binder layer 121.Institute is more detailed like hereinafter, and the first auxiliary binder layer 121 applies by pattern form usually. Therefore, but the also first surface of part absorbing contacting layer of tectal second surface. For example, the second surface of cover layer 130 can contact the first surface of the pattern of the first auxiliary binder layer 121, and the also first surface of contacting thermoplastic adhesive phase 120.
The exemplary materials that is used for cover layer 130 can be provided by non-woven material, comprises synthetic fibers, such as polyethylene (PE), PET (PET), polypropylene (PP).Because it is hydrophobic being used for the person's character of the polymer of non-woven material production, thereby can they be applied with hydrophilic coating usually, for example apply so that the non-woven material of permanent hydrophilic to be provided with durable hydrophilic coatings.Other non-woven material of the cover layer 130 that is used to choose wantonly can comprise composite construction, such as so-called SMS material, comprises spunbond layer, meltblown layer and another spunbond layer. The material of cover layer 130 also can comprise cellulose or cellulose-derived fiber, is generally by weight 50% to 95%, or by weight 60% to 80%, for example 70% cellulose or cellulose-derived fiber by weight.
The basic weight of the material of cover layer 130 usually can be at 5g/m 2To 80g/m 2, or 10g/m 2To 60g/m 2, or 20g/m 2To 40g/m 2Scope in.
Auxiliary binder
As mentioned below, thermoplastic adhesives 120 are used for fixing AGM granule 110.Yet because AGM granule 110 is tending towards swelling when absorbing liquid, thermoplastic adhesives 120 should not apply strong restraint force to the AGM granule, but should be flexible and ductile so that be adapted to particulate swelling.
Usually, thermoplastic adhesives 120 can deposit at least partly to cover and to snarl AGM granule 110 so that fix them in drying regime and in wetting state by the microfibre form.Said micro-fiber structure still is favourable, because microfibre can expand in response to the swelling of AGM granule 110 and can not rupture usually, this has improved wet fixation.
Yet for example because their width is less, this type of microfibre possibly not provide enough adhesion strength to adhere to basal layer 100 and/or cover layer 130 securely, and this can cause the integrity of absorbent cores to be lower than desired situation.Simultaneously, more substantial thermoplastic adhesives 120 (being generally microfibre) are provided so that improve the fluid treatment capacity that the integrity of absorbent cores may be harmful to absorbent cores slightly, especially all the more so such as through liquid or blood the time when relating to complex fluid.
In order to improve the integrity of absorbent cores 28; Simultaneously the fluid treatment capacity of holding core such as to body fluid such as collection and/or absorptive capacity through liquid; Can will comprise advantageously therefore that the absorbed layer of thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 and AGM granular layer 110 adheres to cover layer 130, and randomly adhere to basal layer 100.This can realize that said additional binder will be called as auxiliary binder in this article through using additional binder. The first auxiliary binder layer 121 can be applied on the cover layer 130.The optional second auxiliary binder layer can be applied on the basal layer. Therefore, first auxiliary binder 121 and the second optional auxiliary binder can be used as the bridge between cover layer 130 (and randomly basal layer 100) and the absorbed layer.
Therefore can select and apply first auxiliary binder with the second optional auxiliary binder so as to adhere to adjacent layer and/or material on, and need not also to be suitable for adapting to the swelling of AGM granule 110.For example, first auxiliary binder 121 need not to apply with the form of microfibre.
In the typical embodiment of absorbent cores 28, fluid must at first pass the cover layer 130 of absorbent cores 28 before they can be absorbed by following absorbed layer.Yet, especially for when comparing, tend to be more heavy-gravity with urine and have usually higher capillary through liquid, the applying of first auxiliary binder 121 may block these fluidic through and therefore cause the increase of acquisition time.
Found to pass cover layer 130 more quickly and get in the absorbent cores 28 through liquid in order to allow, first auxiliary binder 121 that is applied on the second surface of cover layer 130 advantageously applies by certain pattern.
" pattern " of this paper is meant the discontinuity layer of first auxiliary binder 121; Said discontinuity layer is arranged such that some zones of the second surface of cover layer 130 are covered by first auxiliary binder 121, and other zones are not covered by first auxiliary binder 121.
Therefore, the part of the surface area of the second surface of cover layer 130 can be capped first auxiliary binder 121 usually.
The first auxiliary binder layer 121 can for example be pressed bar paten or dot pattern deposition. These can be bending or straight basically. In some embodiments, the first auxiliary binder layer 121 can be by crossing bar or non-crossing bar deposition. For example, as shown in Figure 1, the first auxiliary binder layer 121 can deposit by bar paten, and said longitudinal axis that is arranged essentially parallel to absorbent cores 28 extends.
In order to pass cover layer 130 at fluid and to improve and realize balance between the integrity, the first auxiliary binder layer 121 with the pattern deposition make cover layer 130 second surface surface area less than 50% and being covered by the first auxiliary binder layer 121 of the surface area of the second surface of cover layer 130 greater than 15%.Preferably, the 25-35% of the surface area of the second surface of cover layer 130 for example 33% can be covered by the first auxiliary binder layer 121.
Said therein pattern comprises that in the embodiment of bar, these can have 0.5-3mm, or 0.7-1.3mm, for example the width of 1mm.In addition, these 1-5mm that also can be spaced apart from each other, or 2-4mm, for example 3mm.
The first surface of the first auxiliary binder layer 121 can at least partly contact the second surface of cover layer 130, and the second surface of the first auxiliary binder layer 121 first surface of part absorbing contacting layer at least.
In addition, the second surface of the first auxiliary binder layer 121 first surface of part contacting thermoplastic adhesive phase 120 at least also.
First auxiliary binder 121 that is present in the absorbent cores 28 can have 4g/m 2To 11g/m 2, or 7g/m 2To 9g/m 2, 8g/m for example 2Overall basic weight.
Randomly, absorbent cores 28 can additionally comprise the second auxiliary binder layer on the first surface that is deposited on basal layer 100.The second auxiliary binder layer can be deposited as discontinuity layer, promptly is deposited as about first auxiliary binder, 121 described arbitrary patterns and successive basically layer. The second auxiliary binder layer can for example apply through spraying. The second auxiliary binder layer can be successive.
In this type of embodiment, at least a portion of the surface area of the first surface of basal layer 100 can be covered by the second auxiliary binder layer.
The second auxiliary binder layer can be deposited as make basal layer 100 first surface surface area at least 70%, perhaps 80% to 95% covered by the second auxiliary binder layer.
Typical adhesive material as auxiliary binder can be for example construction adhesive.A kind of typical adhesive material as first auxiliary binder 121 and second auxiliary binder of choosing wantonly can have for example 2500cP to 3800cP; Or 2800cP to 3200cP; For example the cloth network of 2950cP restrains Field viscosity, and said viscosity is measured according to method of testing ASTM D 3236/88 spindle 27.5 with 30rpm under 149 ℃.A kind of typical adhesive material as first auxiliary binder and optional second auxiliary binder also can have 80 ℃ to 100 ℃, perhaps 86 ℃ to 91 ℃ ring and ball softening point, and said softening point is measured according to method of testing ASTM E-28-99.A kind of suitable Bostik H4265 of auxiliary binder for for example providing by BostikNetherlands.
Usually, the ring and ball softening point of first auxiliary binder and optional second auxiliary binder can be lower than the ring and ball softening point of thermoplastic adhesives, and said softening point is all measured under the same conditions.
In a simplified embodiment, the described adhesive material that is used as first auxiliary binder and second auxiliary binder of choosing wantonly also can be used for thermoplastic adhesive layer 120.Yet in this embodiment, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 provides by the microfibre form.
Absorbed layer
Absorbed layer comprises superabsorbent polymer particles (AGM granule) layer 110 and thermoplastic adhesive layer 120.AGM granular layer 110 can be conforming layer or heterosphere, wherein so-called " evenly " or " non-homogeneous ", is meant that AGM granule 110 can be by even or non-homogeneous basis weight profile on basal layer 100.
According to the present invention, AGM granular layer 110 can be discontinuity layer.So-called " discontinuity layer " is meant that said layer can comprise the open area, and said open area is substantially free of the super absorbent polymer material. For example, AGM granular layer 110 can comprise opening, can be comprised the open area that the zone centered on of AGM granule 110.These openings have less than 10mm or less than 5mm or 3mm or 2mm or 1.5mm and greater than diameter or the maximum span of 0.5mm or 1mm usually. As other a kind of selection, absorbed layer can comprise the zone with AGM granule 110, and said zone is centered on by the open area.In certain embodiments, comprise that the zone of AGM granule 110 can be zone of dispersion, said zone of dispersion has less than 10mm, or less than 5mm, or 3mm, or 2mm, or 1.5mm and greater than 0.5mm, or the diameter of 1mm or maximum span.
When AGM granular layer 110 being provided as heterosphere (for example being provided as discontinuity layer usually), at least some parts of the first surface of basal layer 100 can not covered by AGM granule 110.
Thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 is used for partial fixing AGM granule 110 at least.Usually, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can provide such as microfibre by the form of fiber.
In the embodiment of the discontinuity layer that comprises AGM granule 110, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can at least partly contact AGM granular layer 110 and also at least partly contact basal layer 100.
For example; When on the first surface that thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 is applied to AGM granular layer 110; Thermoplastic adhesive layer's second surface part at least contacts the first surface of AGM granular layer 110, and at least partly contacts the first surface of basal layer 100, and is as shown in Figure 2.In other words, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 second surface can contact the first surface of basal layer 100 in some part, and said part is corresponding to the opening of the discontinuity layer of AGM granule 110.Usually, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can contact basal layer 100 through the second optional auxiliary binder layer.
Usually, thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 can rise and fall between the first surface of the first surface of AGM granular layer 110 and basal layer 100.Wherein thermoplastic adhesive layer 120 is called as engaging zones with the zone that basal layer 100 contacts.
The appropriate section of hereinafter has further described exemplary typical heat plastic binder 120 and typical superabsorbent polymer particles 110.
