Abstract

一种由DKDP晶体、偏振片、K,玻璃窗片及壳体等部件构成的带起偏器电光Q开关、其Q开关放在卡套内装置于壳体中间,壳体一端斜切面中心处的沟槽内胶封有偏振片,另一端通过均称的三只紧固螺丝将载有玻璃窗片的壳盖与壳体紧固于一体,调整三只顶螺丝使Q开关端平面与玻璃窗片互相平行。将起偏、开关两种功能集于一体,因而调整方便、结构紧凑、价格低。本器件可广泛应用于激光测距、激光医疗及非线性光学光源等激光设备。

Description

一种由DKDP晶体、偏振片、K,玻璃窗片、金属电极及壳体等部件构成的适用于激光测距、激光医疗、激光武器及非线性光学光源等激光设备的带起偏器的电光Q开关。
电光Q开关是获取激光巨脉冲的关键元件。一般是用DKDP(磷酸二氘钾KD2PO4)晶体制成的。目前使用的这类器件都是由格兰棱镜和Q开关两个独立单元部件组成。在结构上,由于有两个部件存在两个窗口的介面反射损失,使用时,也需要对两个部件进行调节,以产生巨脉冲输出,以便达到开关效果,这样便存在结构复杂、使用操作不便、光学性能差且价格偏高等缺点。
本发明专利的发明目的在于克服现有技术中存在的结构复杂、调节不便、光学性能差等缺点,寻求设制一种采用镀增透膜K,玻璃窗片及按布氏角要求的偏振片与Q开关装置构成结构紧凑于一体、偏振方向明了、插入损耗小的带起偏器的电光Q开关。
为实现上述目的,本发明专利采用光洁美观且易于加工的绝缘尼龙、塑料或胶木等材料,按照所需尺寸制成一端斜切的圆柱筒形壳体。采用含氘量大于98%的外观规则、光学均匀性好的DKDP单晶体,沿Z轴切片,加工制成可放入卡套内并装置于壳体内的圆柱形,其外侧面两端分别制有宽6mm的环形金属箔电极以构成Q开关。壳体斜切端面中心制有可装置偏振片的沟槽,并购置成品偏振片置于其中用胶粘剂封牢。壳体另一端放置相配的弹性橡胶垫圈后置有镀增透膜K,玻璃窗片,并用紧固螺丝与壳体同质材料之壳盖紧固在一起。壳盖上的另外三只顶螺丝用于调整窗片与晶体Q开关端平面的平行。
本发明专利与现有技术相比,具有结构紧凑、简单,制作容易,使用调节方便,偏振方向明了,插入损耗小,器件成本低等突出优点。
图1为本发明专利之整体结构示意图。
下面结合附图说明本发明专利的实施。选取外观规则、光学均匀性好、氘含量大于98%的DKDP(KD2PO4)单晶体,将其Z轴切片,在偏光显微镜下检查锥光图,要求干涉图整齐、不椭圆,表示晶体光学均匀性好,应力小。为避免应力引进,选用线切割机切割成12×12×25mm方体柱,在25℃恒温条件下,抛磨成直径12mm、长25mm的圆柱体为DKDP晶体5,加工要求定光轴Z精度在0.17°以内,端面平行度在0.003°内,平整度小于1/4λ。选取厚0.4mm,宽6mm的金属导电箔制成内径为12mm的环套,装套于DKDP晶体5的两端并在其上各焊接有一段外引线构成金属电极4。选取尼龙、塑料或胶木等绝缘材料制成外直径为30mm的圆柱体,沿一端中心钻制直径为16mm,长25mm的圆柱孔,并沿其内端继续钻有直径为12mm的圆柱孔,在圆柱体对应25mm长圆柱孔处向内径小的方向将圆柱体斜剖成倾斜角为56.5°的斜面后,构成壳体1。在壳体1斜面中心处制有直径为30mm,深度为4mm的沟槽3。购置与沟槽3相配应的成品偏振片2,用HC704胶粘剂将其封装于沟槽3内。
用硅橡胶材料制成高1.5-2mm,外径20mm,内径15mm并具有弹性而不易老化的密封垫圈6。选取镀1.06μm(对Nd:YAG激光器而言)或0.6943μm(对红宝石激光器而言)增透膜的K,玻璃制成直径为20mm,厚3mm的玻璃窗 片7。选取与壳体1同质材料制成外直径30mm,内直径12mm,高10mm的圆柱形环体,再沿其一侧中心钻制一个直径为20.01mm,深7mm的同心槽,以备放置玻璃窗片7而构成壳盖8,在壳盖8外侧离边缘3mm处,均称钻制三个与壳体相配合的孔,并在壳体上钻制三个螺丝孔,以备装置三只紧固螺丝9,起盖与壳体紧固作用。在壳盖8外侧离边缘6.5mm处,均称钻制三个螺丝孔,以备装置三只顶螺丝11,起密封、调整玻璃窗片7与晶体5端平面的平行度之作用。选用与壳体1的同质材料,制成中心孔直径为12mm,一端外径为14mm,另一端外径为16mm,高24mm的晶体卡套10;将DKDP晶体5置于卡套10后,放入壳体1中,并在壳体1之上部与金属电极对应处,钻制两个电极外引线孔,以便使电极与外部相连。将玻璃窗片7置于壳盖8之槽内,垫上橡胶垫圈6,用三只紧固螺丝9将壳盖8与壳体1紧固为一体,调节三只顶螺丝11,使窗片7与晶体5端面平行,并使晶体5密封于壳体1之中。这样便构成了本发明专利。

Claims (4)

1、一种由DKDP晶体、偏振片、玻璃窗片及壳体等部件构成的适用于激光技术设备上的带起偏器电光Q开关,其特征在于用DKDP晶体制成的Q开关装置于壳体内腔中,壳体一端成56.5°倾角的斜切面中心处装置偏振片,另一端放置橡胶垫圈后装有玻璃窗片的壳盖,用三只均称的紧固螺丝将壳盖和壳体紧固为一体。
2、根据权利要求1所述的器件,其特征在于所用Q开关为氘含量大于98%的DKDP单晶体沿Z轴切片加工成直径为12mm、长25mm,两端侧面分别制有宽6mm金属箔电极的圆柱体。
3、根据权利要求1所述的器件,其特征在于镀1.06μm(对Nd:YAG激光器)或0.6943μm(对红宝石激光器)增透膜的K,玻璃制成直径20mm、厚3mm的玻璃窗片封放入壳盖上相配应的槽内。
4、根据权利要求1所述的器件,其特征在于壳体、壳盖及晶体的卡套同用绝缘尼龙、塑料或胶木材料制做。
