Background technology
Along with the development of technology and the rise of the voice (VoIP) in such as Internet protocol, the quantity increasing phone and related functionality on the electric network of such as the Internet becomes feasible.Phone application can provide functional on electric network, and it is common for traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN).nullThis functional can include call diversion、Voice mail、Conference Calling、Calling refusing (blocking)、Televoting、Call visor (screening)、Telephone number portability (portability)、Collect billing calling (tollfreecall) and freephone、Prepaid call、Account Card Calling、VPN (virtual private network) is (such as,Family's group call on PSTN or enterprise's " phone " network)、Concentrate exchange (Centrex) service (virtual private packet switch (PBX))、Special number plan (has the number also do not issued in phone directory)、Short codes and short code、Unified individual's telecommunications service (unified personal telephone number)、Mass calling services、Prefix from external mobile phone freely dials、Access from external seamless multimedia messenger service (MMS)、Reverse charging、Caller district discount、Preferential rate calls、Based on the call distribution with the various criterions (criteria) of correlation of call、Location-based route、Time-based route、Ratio call distribution is (such as,Two or more call centers or office it
Between) and call queuing.
In the field of business be known as intelligent network (IN) can be implemented functional.Intelligent network can use various agreement, sometimes uses layered approach, and wherein application layer is called intelligent network application part (INAP), and sometimes uses less agreement being layered, such as transaction-capable application part (TCAP).A kind of standard for IN agreement is the customized application (CAMEL) strengthening logic for mobile network, and it allows to increase the function for mobile phone.Camel application part (CAP) can be layered on TCAP so that additional function can add TCAP to.
For the wireless network that ETSI (ETSI) is wired or old, use following agreement: INAP, INAP capability set 1 (CS-1), INAPCS-1+ (Ericsson's variant) and SINAP (Siemens's variant). For North America such as Qwest communication, AT&T,The commonly used advanced intelligent network of the wireless operator communicated with Rogers (AIN).For Global Systems for Mobile communications (GSM) and Universal Mobile Telecommunication system (UMTS), typically use following agreement: CAPV1 to V4, INAPCS-1+ and SINAP5m/7m.For using the network of wireless code division multiple address (CDMA)/1x, commonly used wireless intelligent network (WIN) stage 1 (IS-771) and WIN stage 2 (IS-826).In the operator of such as Mexico and second and the third echelon of the local operation of Brazil, also not there is Full Featured intelligent network sometimes; Therefore, those local integrated service digital network User Parts (ISUP) and what Telephone User Part (TUP) agreement was still correlated with.
SCP (SCP) be typically used in carry out with not directly related above-mentioned and other functions by the route of the message of network.SCP allows the control in network service level so that service logic can drive agreement to provide in above-mentioned service.Generally, service logic is for concrete agreement, and is directly developed and perform the manipulation exchanged as concrete agreement.Service logic is that a concrete IN (that is, the agreement of good definition) builds. In integrated telephony network, these server major parts are implemented as the function in telephone exchange, but in more open network, such as based on Internet protocol (IP) telephone network of SIP (Session initiation Protocol) agreement, next generation network (NGN) and internet protocol multi-media sub-system (IMS), these are often the independent computers including server.
In a method, SCP server support application (such as call treatment and route, calling termination, message send and application unrelated with user or with user's related application) the execution of service logic.SCP includes the service logic realizing the desired behavior of operator, i.e. each service.During logical process, process the required additional data of calling and ability can obtain from Service controll function (SCF).The upper application example provided of SCP (as service logic) includes following ability, for instance the service of local number portability, tax-free call routing resolution, meeting bridge and unified message send. The service that can pass through to be made up of a series of callings (incoming call or exhalation) provides application/telephone service.
Phone application (i.e. phone on SCP/IN/PSTN service) is usually in following two types: only relates to the application of signaling, and comprises the application of media manipulation. The former frequently involves routing resolution, and including following function, such as local number portability, tax-free call route and other services, the number wherein dialed must translate to routable address. The example comprising media manipulation includes the application of meeting bridge, interactive voice response (IVR) etc., and it is the service that a lot of business professional is familiar with.Calling step for this example includes following.User calls the number issued in advance. The number translation dialed is IP address the end points of called after application server, and calling is routed to that end points.Application server is connected to media server, and order media server carries out greeting and collection session number.Media server returns conference number, and application server order media server carries out pointing out to collect authorization number. If the numeral collected is correct, then this calling is moved to hoc meeting bridge by media server by application server.
Another example is pre-payment SCP, and wherein service is the prepaid services for calling or message sends. In this service, rank and the remaining sum of ordering and also manage user of systems inspection user.
But, this method remains the various aspects of PSTN version, without making full use of new electronic environment.

Detailed description of the invention
By providing for developing and adopting telephony feature as the platform of application service, overcome existing based on the above and other defect in the method for the telephone system of electric network according to the system and method for various embodiments.
The method providing phone application service according to an embodiment make use of the following fact: by using Service Delivery Platform (SDP) and passing through to realize to provide various service based on the method for Service-Oriented Architecture Based (SOA).SDP realizes utilizing various enabler to provide some reusable functional, such as Call-Control1 enabler, and it enables the CCF to perform and from these functions of basic network abstract.Media server enabler allows the media server provided independent of functional how actual realization functional, such as derived session function or flow functional.SDP can also include the enabler of such as voice access enabler, and it allows voice dialogue to add application to.
SDP is not absolutely essential, because the widget built over different networks is also suitable.Further, the use of enabler neither be implemented necessary to the present invention.Should not be construed in this application and limit the invention to the embodiment with SDP and/or enabler.
But the system and method according to various embodiments, take this concept to next aspect.Said method can utilize assembly (such as application programming interface, API) set up the calling between two end points (such as two users or user and equipment), or perform five people that other functions such as connect in Conference Calling or process Multimedia session or receive call notification.
Various advantage is obtained by instead defining " widget " of Multimedia session (such as, call, include but not limited to each function of telephone functionality). Each widget all can provide all functions described as follows, for instance calling or Multimedia session forwarding, calling refusing, urgent call initiation, meeting, calling hunting (hunting), message transmission, accounting profile etc..Each widget may each be code or a part for light application, and it is positioned on the Call-Control1 enabler of SDP to provide telephone functionality or other Multimedia session functions. Thus these widgets are possible not only to provide session manipulation, it is also possible to provide the logic that may be used for processing session and other networks (such as IN) function etc..Widget may be provided for logic for media (and multimedia) control, message transmission, charging and the access that user is detailed.
So, application or service can combine these widgets to provide multimedia, phone and other IN functional.Such as, (namely application can adopt sender that a group window widget communicates with certification, based on a) voucher, b) user of profile (such as pre-payment or rear payings, company, honored guest, common etc.) or c) prestige (such as bill/account revenue and expenditure and bill payment/clearing situation)) and determine for the desired task that communicates (such as based on subscription profile, be such as user setup which service, setting and like). After determining this information, the logic in widget may be used to determine how to process communication, such as carry out calling in voice mail or meeting, notify from a phone call relevant receiver, send message, to service charging, initiate Multimedia session etc..
Thus the realization of phone application service can adopt widget as construction unit to carry out traffic signaling, it is allowed to the abstract of signaling and basis signaling.Once provide this way, it is possible to build various application to perform each function, such as multimedia and calling forwarding, calling refusing, call monitoring etc..Use SDP can as required synthesis window widget to provide full ripe phone application or application service. For example, it is possible to create VoIP application, based on various factors, it determines that forwarded call is to where, such as can there is information, user preferences etc. based on active user.In another example, it is possible to create dedicated packet switched (PBX) application, it allows user in real time or to determine that in the way of pre-programmed calling should be forwarded to where, etc..Any proper technology can be used to complete synthesis, such as Java or BPEL (Business Processing execution language). These widgets can be synthesized to provide new phone or multimedia application or application service.
Thus, providing a group window widget according to the realization of an embodiment, it can be synthesized to provide phone application or application service. This group window widget can from the technology of basic network (such as, SIP on PBX, IMS, etc.) abstract not only demonstrates Call-Control1 ability or media server ability also has other to relate to the functional of calling, the forwarding that such as calls, obtain about the information of calling, authenticated calling, target hunting, check there is information, based on this information directed call etc..It is then possible to build full ripe application by the synthesis of different single window widgets, such as PBX application.
Across agreement c) IT practice is with synthesis window widget, currently these will be provided functional by proprietary realization when not reusing a) widget b).These functions are open by processing widget not as the individual call that can arbitrarily synthesize to build application. The widget using synthesis provides multiple advantage, such as in the level with appropriate time delay, calling reaction is very fast ability, etc., because replacement is applied to properly process calling by logic, so the speech of application is not critical by it when calling.
And, a lot of existing application, such as VoIP and virtual PBX application adopts similar functional, but even if these application are also individually build in equivalent environment. This method causes the repetition of code, thus wasting resource and adding mistake probability.Use method described here, in suitable environment such as Java or BPEL, for instance, use original function or widget as the synthesis of those functions, the such as assembly of Call-Control1 enabler may be used for building desired application.
Example implementation be will now be described, it concentrates on concrete technology and two particular aspects, include how to be integrated into IMS or the PSTN/IN characteristic of offer on SIP, and provided that basic function, such as VoIP, virtual PBX, SCIM, SIPAS, exist, to the adapter of network, Call-Control1, media server control, voice access, media and multimedia application (such as IPTV, video, Web meeting, calling, etc.) and message transmission, then how phone application service is provided. It should be understood that these aspects are merely exemplary, and other assemblies many can use, replace and/or combine to perform these and other tasks.A part in these describes elsewhere and/or advises, under the prompting of the specification and drawings, those of ordinary skill in the art will be clearly by these.
Being likely to realize such a system, wherein service can be deployed on a lot of network (current tradition, following and change) and make them coexist.
Such as, Fig. 1 (a) and Fig. 1 (b) illustrates according to an operable exemplary framework 100 based on Service Delivery Platform (SDP) of embodiment. In the exemplary architecture 100 of Fig. 1 (a), SDP includes platform level, measured, and it is by underlying network resources abstract and observes Service-Oriented Architecture Based (SOA).In one embodiment, SDP adopts the horizontal SOA platform based on Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE).SDP includes the aggregation container (convergedcontainer) based on Java code requirement JSR116/289 and JSR32, and it includes SOASIPAS, OSAAS and phone AS as J2EE aggregation container.SDP has also appeared movement, voice and other communication enabled devices.
In Fig. 1 (b), it is shown that SDP configuration 150 is desired functional to realize on the basic J2EE core that provides at application server. The common view with the common identity across all elements and network management and all data about main body is valuable. There is provided the basic skills of Service Delivery Platform with measured IT (information technology) platform (such as, J2EE) start and make this platform become carrier-class, and being enlarged beyond the HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) (HTTP) agreement to such as SIP, Diameter and Parlay. In order to support the key protocol relevant to telecommunications, for instance, SDP can be SIP/ISC, Diameter and Parlay common object request broker architecture (CORBA) and the adapter offer support to messaging gateway.Standard method is used for such as JCA1.5 (J2EE connector architecture 1.5), is building up to the adapter of any other resource or agreement,.Thering is provided enabler as reusable assembly, it is by Internet resources and standard northbound interface abstract. Then IT/SOA is provided for service, such as extra earning service, adopts the strategy based on SOA and business rule (such as, from third party). Then platform can be provided as the integrated offer SDP based on SOA of system and service.Open (exposure) to third party content and service provider is realized with open, integrated and implementation strategy by SOA.SOA can be also used for supporting in whole service provider environment and rationalizing tactical management and assessment.
SIP, Parlay or IN agreement can provide and realize one group of enabler. These enablers can include, for instance, open enabler, it observes OMASIP/SIMPLEPresence, XDM and RLS enabler specification to provide the output of boxlike (box) IMS open server and SIP/SIMPLE open server.(such as network is open) can also be disclosed from other network aggregation and provide north orientation ParlayX interface to disclose to use when being added without open network for application.Using extendible public data model, position data can be modeled as open attribute.Enabler is passable, for instance, it is allowed to multimedia and Multi-Way Calling on SIP (the Internet and IMS) and Parlay control.Media server as the MRFC function of MRF controls enabler and voice access enabler can control various speech XML server, IVR, announcement servers and media server (such as MSML, MSCML, MSCP and MGCP).The outer disabled agreement of box can build on SIPAS or use JCA1.5.
Software application can send order to create New Account in unified user profile (UUP).UUP assembly can make workflow-initiating, it can be made up of one or more Business Processing, the renewal of one or more knowledge base (repository) that OSS/BSS is had with initiation alternately by Business Processing with operations support systems/operational support system (OSS/BSS).Once OSS/BSS knowledge base is updated, then UUP proceeds so that the renewal produced in OSS/BSS knowledge base be reflected in data hub (hub) and UUP (or any by UUP visible/other knowledge bases of gathering).UUP is the virtual view in other data knowledge storehouses so that when data are updated, and the view of acquiescence is also updated.Alternatively, synchronize/replicate data from knowledge base.In this case, the process automatization between OSS/BSS knowledge base and UUP occurs. But, if not automatization well, then correctly it being reflected in UUP in order to ensure change, workflow can be responsible for triggering and replicates. It is identical by applying the final result seen, but the action of any correspondence is safeguarded by workflow.Another alternative has with the UUP assembly of data in SOA data managing capacity renewal database component, and wherein database component self can trigger the workflow creating the Business Processing mutual with OSS/BSS.
Fig. 2 illustrates to use and realizes 200 based on SDP, by using the device of such as strategy execution device (PE) and Web service and other bindings (such as, standard northbound interface), how arbitrarily-shaped domain (SP, terminal) can be connected to the resource in operator, terminal, service provider etc..Strategy execution device 202 can perform the strategy (combination in any of condition and action) in all message by SDP, and performs the function that such as application factor business rule and execution SOA arrange. In or beyond territory 204 application or other resources can utilize these resources by the assembly of SDP because SDP can define the application in territory " interior " and the third party of territory " outward " or other apply between mutual.SDP can include assembly 206, such as above-mentioned various enabler and/or ParlayX or ParlayAPI assembly, and it can be have the reusable of desired inherent function discussed below and/or the assembly that can synthesize. Then assembly 206 can with source communications, such as IMS and non-IMS resource, and Parlay/OSA resource (GW/FW/SCS) and non-Parlay/OSA resource, it is allowed to the realization on heterogeneous networks coexists.Parlay assembly is usable in the level identical with enabler thus realizing on SIP, forms OSAAS.
Fig. 3 illustrates and utilizes the SDP of Fig. 2 example realizing operable enabler 300.In this example, enabler 300 is J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition that is reusable and/or that can synthesize, can obtain from Sun Microsystems, Inc.) object, it can appear useful inherent function, such as Call-Control1, open, message transmission, charging, media server control, voice access, offer unified user profile (UUP), resource management, etc..Enabler can also adopt the north orientation API of standard for Java and/or Web service, such as, can via the adapter abstract resource to network and platform element, network abstraction, platform is provided to extract and standard technique, such as SIP or JCA1.5, has the mode of predictable low delay and high-throughput.Enabler can also is that a part for enabler framework 302 or based on enabler framework 302 or one group of common functionalities, it can provide persistence, high availability, management, daily record.
