Description

Method and system for accessing terminal call through visited IMS access point
Technical Field
The invention relates to a technology that an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) access function of a called user is not supported by a visited place Network, in particular to a method and a system for accessing a terminal call through a visited place IMS access point.
Background
IMS is an IP-based network architecture proposed by the third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP), which constructs an open and flexible service environment, supports multimedia applications, and can provide rich multimedia services to users.
In the IMS service system, the control layer and the service layer are separated, the control layer does not provide specific services, and only provides necessary functions of triggering, routing, charging and the like for the service layer.
The service triggering and Control functions in the Control layer are performed by a Call Session Control Function (CSCF). The call session control functions mainly include: three types of Proxy call session control function entities (P-CSCF), inquiry call session control function entities (I-CSCF), and Serving call session control function entities (S-CSCF), wherein S-CSCF functions are necessary and I-CSCF is optional.
The service layer is composed of a series of Application Servers (AS), which can provide specific service services, and the AS may be an independent entity or may exist in the S-CSCF.
And the control layer (S-CSCF) controls service triggering according to the subscription information of the user, calls the service on the AS and realizes the service function.
The end-to-end Equipment in the session is called User Equipment (UE) and is responsible for interaction with the UE User. The UE has multiple ways to access the network, including accessing the network through a Packet Switched (PS) domain of 3GPP, or accessing the network through a PS domain of other non-3 GPP, or even accessing the network through a Circuit Switched (CS) domain, and so on. When an IMS subscriber accesses and originates a call in the CS domain, its call signaling needs to be routed to the IMS domain to which the subscriber belongs, thereby providing services to the subscriber.
Step 101, UE-2 calls UE-1, such as sending INVITE message with the ID of UE-1 as target;
step 102, the call message is routed to the home IMS network of UE-1, and is routed to a home service Continuity and convergence Application Server (SCC AS) by CSCF of the home IMS network of UE-1, the home SCC AS judges that UE-1 is accessed in the CS domain, and then decides to call UE-1 through the CS domain, and the home SCC AS acquires number information A of UE-1;
step 103, the home SCC AS sends a call message with the number information a AS a target, for example, an INVITE message with the number information a AS a target (destination address) to send an IMS signaling;
step 104, the call Message is routed to a Media Gateway Control Function (MGCF) of the home IMS network of the UE-1 by the home CSCF, the home MGCF translates the IMS signaling into a CS signaling, and routes the call Message to an MSC of the visited place of the UE-1 through the CS network, such as an Initial Address Message (IAM) or an INVITE Message for sending the CS signaling;
step 105, after receiving the message of the calling number a, the visited MSC calls the UE-1, for example, sends a SETUP (SETUP) message of the CS signaling;
step 106, UE-1 answers the call;
step 107, the visited MSC forwards the response message, and the response message is sent to the MGCF of the home IMS network of the UE-1 through the CS network, for example, sending a response message (ANM, AnswerMessage) or "200 OK";
step 108, home MGCF translates the response message of CS signaling into a response message of IMS signaling, such as "200 OK" message, and then forwards the response message, which reaches home SCCAS through home CSCF;
in step 109, the home SCC AS forwards the response message to UE-2.
In this regard, a call is established between UE-1 and UE-2, wherein the CS media path is connected from the visited network of UE-1 to the home network of UE-1.
The prior art has the defects that even if the visited network of the UE-1 has the IMS network access capability, the UE-1 does not use the IMS network access capability of the visited network of the UE-1 when the UE-1 is in the CS domain as a called call, thereby occupying the long-distance link resources of the CS.

Detailed Description
The invention has the basic idea that after receiving a call request to a called user, the SCC AS acquires the CS domain information of the called user and calls the called user through the PS domain, wherein the call message carries the CS domain information of the called user; the calling message is routed to the VICP, and the VICP sends the calling request to the called user through the CS domain according to the CS domain information of the called user.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples.
Example one
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a first embodiment of a method for accessing a terminal call through a visited IMS access point, where as shown in fig. 2, an application scenario of this example is that an IMS user terminal UE-1 registers to an IMS domain through a VICP, but an MSC does not provide an IMS access function, so that a visited network PS domain does not provide a voice access capability, and can only receive a voice call of UE-2 in a CS domain, and a method for accessing a terminal call through a visited IMS access point specifically includes the following steps:
step 201, UE-1 uses mark A to execute IMS registration through PS domain of visiting network, the registration process passes through VICP;
step 202, UE-2 calls UE-1, for example, sends a call message such as INVITE message targeting identity a of UE-1;
step 203, a call message (such AS an INVITE message) is routed to a home IMS network of the UE-1, and routed to an SCC AS by a CSCF of the home IMS network of the UE-1, and the SCC AS determines that the UE-1 accesses in a CS domain, and then decides to call the UE-1 through the CS domain, and the SCC AS obtains number information B (which may be a number of the UE-1, and may also be a CS domain routing number of the UE-1 in a visited network) of the UE-1 and/or CS domain access point information, that is, information of an MSC;
step 204, SCC AS calls UE-1 through PS domain, for example, using identifier a to send a call message, where the call message carries CS domain information, and the CS domain information includes number information B, and may also include CS domain indication to show that the VICP calls UE-1 through CS domain, and may also include MSC information to indicate that the VICP directly sends the call to the MSC without intermediate routing, because UE-1 is called through PS domain, the call message may be routed to the VICP;
step 205, the VICP determines that the call message also carries CS domain information, so that UE-1 is called through the CS domain, for example, the target of the call message is changed to number B and then sent, an INVITE message of IMS signaling may be sent to MGCF of the visited network, or the call message may be directly sent to MSC according to MSC information, and the call message may finally reach MSC in CS signaling;
step 206, receiving the call message, the MSC calls UE-1, for example, the SETUP message of sending CS signaling;
step 207, UE-1 answers the call;
step 208, MSC forwards the response message, such as the response message sending CS signaling, e.g. ANM message or "200 OK" message, the response message may be translated into IMS signaling, e.g. "200 OK" message, by MGCF of visited place, and the response message reaches VICP;
step 209, the VICP forwards the response message, and the message reaches the SCC AS through the CSCF;
in step 210, the SCC AS forwards the response message to the UE-2.
Therefore, a conversation is established between the UE-1 and the UE-2, wherein the CS media path is only in the visiting network of the UE-1, and CS long-distance link resources are not occupied.
In the invention, the VICP is an Access Transfer Control Function (ATCF), or a proxy call session control function (P-CSCF), or an Interactive Border Control Function (IBCF), or an MSC with an IMS access function.
Example two
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a second embodiment of the method for accessing a terminating call through a visited IMS access point, where as shown in fig. 3, an application scenario of this example is that an IMS user terminal UE-1 registers to an IMS domain through a VICP, an MSC provides an IMS access function, the MSC may replace the UE-1 to perform IMS registration (i.e., the UE-1 has two IMS registrations), and a registration process of the MSC may pass through the VICP (whether the implementation of the technical solution of the present invention is not affected), and since a visited network PS domain does not provide a voice capability, a voice call of the UE-2 can only be received in a CS domain, including the following steps:
step 301, UE-1 uses identification A to execute IMS registration through PS domain of visited place, and registration process passes through VICP;
step 302, the MSC uses the identifier B to replace the UE-1 to perform IMS registration, the registration process may pass (may not pass) the VICP, the identifier B and the identifier a may be the same, and the registration process also carries the identifier information of the MSC, for example, in a Contact header field;
step 303, UE-2 calls UE-1, for example, sends a call message such as INVITE message with the identifier of UE-1 as the target;
step 304, the call message (such AS INVITE message) is routed to the home IMS network of UE-1, and is routed to the SCC AS by the CSCF of the home IMS network of UE-1, and the SCC AS determines that UE-1 accesses in the CS domain, and then decides to call UE-1 through the CS domain, and the SCC AS obtains the number information D of UE-1 and/or the identifier B and/or the CS domain access point information, i.e. the information of MSC.
Step 305, SCC AS calls UE-1 through PS domain, for example, using identifier a to send a call message, where the call message carries CS domain information, and includes number information D and/or identifier B, and may also include CS domain indication to show that the VICP calls UE-1 through CS domain, and may also include MSC information to indicate that the VICP directly sends the call to the MSC without intermediate routing, and since UE-1 is called through PS domain, the call message may be routed to the VICP;
step 306, the VICP judges that the call message also carries CS domain information, so that UE-1 is called through the CS domain, for example, the destination of the call message is changed to be sent by number D or identifier B, an INVITE message of IMS signaling can be sent to MGCF of the visited network, or the call message can be directly sent to MSC according to MSC information;
step 307, receiving the call message, the MSC calls UE-1, for example, the SETUP message of sending CS signaling;
step 308, UE-1 answers the call;
step 309, the MSC forwards the response message, for example, the response message sending CS signaling such as ANM message or "200 OK" message of IMS signaling, the response message may be translated into IMS signaling such as "200 OK" message by MGCF of the visited place, and the response message reaches the VICP;
step 310, the VICP forwards the response message, and the message reaches the SCC AS through the CSCF;
in step 311, the SCC AS forwards the response message to the UE-2.
Therefore, a conversation is established between the UE-1 and the UE-2, wherein the CS media path is only in the visiting network of the UE-1, and CS long-distance link resources are not occupied.
In the invention, the VICP is ATCF, P-CSCF, IBCF or MSC with IMS access function.
The invention also discloses a system for accessing the terminal call through the visited IMS access point, wherein the system comprises an SCC AS and a VICP; the following corresponding application functions are provided:
the SCC AS is used for determining the access of a called user in a CS domain after receiving a first call request to the called user; the CS domain information of the called user is obtained, and a second call request is sent to the called user through a PS domain, wherein the second call request carries the CS domain information of the called user;
and the VICP is used for sending a third call request to the called user through the CS domain according to the CS domain information of the called user carried in the second call request after receiving the second call request.
The CS domain information is at least one of the following information: number information, identification information, CS domain indication and MSC information;
the SCC AS further sends the second call request with the identification information used when the called user performs IMS registration AS a target.
The VICP further determines MSC information according to the CS domain information of the called subscriber, and sends the third call request to the MSC, where the third call request is targeted to number information or identification information in the CS domain information.
The above-mentioned VICP further sends the third call request with the number information in the CS domain information of the called subscriber as a target.
The first call request, the second call request and the third call request belong to a call request of the same session.
The VICP is ATCF, P-CSCF, IBCF or MSC with IMS access function.
