技术领域
本发明涉及轴颈轴承,并且更具体地,本发明涉及改进的、用在轨道货车中的轴承组件密封装置。
背景技术
已知包含有两排锥形滚子轴承的滚子轴承组件,所述两排锥形滚子轴承预组装到整装的、预润滑的包装中以用于组装到轴或轮轴的端部处的轴颈上。这些轴承组件用作组装到轮轴的端部处的轴颈上的轨道车辆轴承。该类型的轴承典型地采用分别配合安装到共同的轴承外圈的各端部中的两排锥形滚子轴承,所述两排锥形滚子轴承的相应的轴承内圈的内径的尺寸设定成使得轴承内圈与轴颈成过盈配合并且与定位在轴承内圈之间的柱形轴套或间隔件成过盈配合,从而在轴颈上提供准确的间距或适当的侧向间隙。安装在轴承外圈的各端部内的密封件在组件的各端部处抵靠相应的轴承内圈的外端部或背面提供与耐磨环的密封接触。在美国专利号5,975,533、7,607,836和7,534,047中示出这些密封件。
在典型的轨道车辆安装中,轴颈在内侧的端部处机加工有圆角。具有与圆角的轮廓互补的表面的垫环和用于与内耐磨环的内侧端部接合的邻接面将轴承组件准确地定位在轴颈上。通过拧入轮轴端部的膛孔中的螺栓而安装在轮轴的端部上的端帽接合外侧耐磨环并且将整个组件夹持在轮轴的端部上。典型地,耐磨环的内径的尺寸设定成使其在耐磨环的长度的至少一部分上与轴颈成过盈配合,以便使整个组件作为一个单元压到轮轴的轴颈部分的端部上。
发明内容
本发明的轴承组件是滚子轴承,所述滚子轴承包括围绕轮轴或轴的轴颈部分配合的内座圈或内圈。内座圈包括朝外的滚道。外座圈或外圈具有朝内的滚道。滚子元件位于内滚道和外滚道之间并且接触所述内滚道和外滚道。
垫环具有与形成在轴上的圆角的成形表面互补且与其接合的成形表面。圆角从轴颈通向轴的肩部。成形表面配合以抵抗沿着轴的运动固定垫环。
轴承组件包括密封组件,所述密封组件提供用于将润滑剂保持在密封组件内和用于防止污染物侵入的屏障。挡油环设置成与耐磨环和密封元件相互作用以提供改进的密封。密封元件、耐磨环和挡油环之间的相互关系用于将润滑剂保持在密封组件内并且用于防止污染物侵入。

具体实施方式
现在参照图1,在图1中总体上用附图标记10指示的轴承组件示出为安装在典型地为轨道车辆轮轴的轴或轮轴14的自由的悬臂端上的轴颈12上。轴颈12被机加工到非常精密的公差,并且在其内端部处终止于成形圆角22,该成形圆角22通向轮轴14的柱形肩部18。在轮轴的自由端处,轴颈部分12终止于稍圆锥形的或渐缩的导引部分24,所述导引部分24的尺寸设定成便于将轴承组件安装到轴颈上。在轮轴14的端部中形成有多个螺纹孔26,用于接收将轴承保持帽30安装在轴的端部上的带帽螺钉或螺栓28,以便将轴承夹持在适当的位置中,如以下更加详细地说明。

现在参照图2,提供轴承组件10的密封组件部分的详细视图。可见密封段52包括大致柱形的部件,该密封段52的较大直径的第一端部段48压入或配合到外圈32中的互补的埋头孔17内。密封段52包括:与第一端部段48垂直的中间段27;和主要的中间柱形段53,该中间柱形段53与端部段48平行地延伸,其中中间柱形段53具有小于第一端部段48的直径。
密封段52的第二端部段55从主要的中间段53与其成直角延伸。弹性密封元件56配合到第二端部段55上。弹性密封元件56由橡胶或弹性体化合物构成,例如丁腈胶料。弹性密封元件56包括主要段,所述主要段包括开口以接收密封段52的第二端部段55。
挡油环段72包括大致柱形的结构,所述大致柱形的结构具有基部段74和从基部段74延伸的端部段76,所述基部段74附装到密封耐磨环60的外表面37。挡油环段72通常是由结构塑料或钢构成的一体结构。

Claims (13)

1.一种滚子轴承组件,包括:
大致柱形的内圈,所述内圈上具有大致柱形的朝外的滚道,所述内圈具有大致平坦的轴向向内的面;
大致柱形的外圈,所述外圈上具有大致柱形的朝内的滚道,所述外圈具有沿径向面朝内的柱形埋头孔;
大致柱形的耐磨环,所述大致柱形的耐磨环从所述内圈的大致平坦的轴向向内的面轴向向内与该大致平坦的轴向向内的面相邻,所述耐磨环具有大致柱形的外表面;
大致柱形构造的密封件,所述密封件具有第一端部段、中间段和第二端部段,所述第一端部段接收在所述外圈的沿径向面朝内的柱形埋头孔中;
弹性密封元件,所述弹性密封元件固定到所述密封件的第二端部段,所述弹性密封元件接触所述耐磨环的大致柱形的外表面;以及
大致柱形构造的挡油环元件,所述挡油环元件具有基部段和径向外边缘,所述基部段固定到所述耐磨环的大致柱形的外表面,所述径向外边缘与所述密封件的第二端部段相邻。
2.根据权利要求1所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件径向地延伸所述密封件的第二端部段的大约一半长度。
3.根据权利要求1所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件的径向外边缘朝向所述密封件的第二端部段轴向地向外折起。
4.根据权利要求1所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件包括中间段,所述中间段接触所述密封件的第二端部段,并且所述挡油环元件的径向外边缘包括径向向外的端部,所述径向向外的端部延伸越过所述密封件的中间段。

大致柱形的耐磨环,所述大致柱形的耐磨环从所述内圈的大致平坦的轴向向内的面轴向向内与该大致平坦的轴向向内的面相邻,所述耐磨环具有大致柱形的外表面;
大致柱形构造的密封件,所述密封件具有第一端部段、中间段和第二端部段,所述第一端部段接收在所述外圈的径向地面朝内的柱形埋头孔中;以及
大致柱形构造的挡油环元件,所述挡油环元件具有基部段,所述基部段固定到所述耐磨环的大致柱形的外表面,所述挡油环元件从耐磨环上比所述密封件的第二端部段轴向靠内的位置径向地延伸。
8.根据权利要求7所述的滚子轴承组件,还包括:
弹性密封元件,所述弹性密封元件固定到所述密封件的第二端部段,所述弹性密封元件接触所述耐磨环的外表面。
9.根据权利要求7所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件径向地延伸所述密封件的第二端部段的大约一半长度。
10.根据权利要求7所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件包括径向外边缘,所述径向外边缘朝向所述密封件的第二端部段轴向向外地延伸。
11.根据权利要求7所述的滚子轴承组件,其中,
所述挡油环元件包括中间段,所述中间段接触所述密封件的第二端部段,并且所述挡油环元件包括径向外边缘,所述径向外边缘具有径向外端部,所述径向外端部延伸越过所述密封件的中间段。
