Description
[ technical field ]
The present invention relates to a storage unit and a refrigeration appliance having the storage unit, and more particularly, to a storage unit having an openable and closable door for a refrigeration appliance and a household or commercial refrigeration appliance having the storage unit.
[ background art ]
Chinese patent application CN 1013243942A discloses a refrigeration appliance having a low-pressure storage unit (also referred to as "vacuum storage unit"). The low pressure storage unit includes a main body defining a storage compartment having a food access opening and a door to open and close the access opening. A sealing member is provided between the door and the main body to surround the access opening to form a vacuum seal of the low pressure storage unit, so that gas in the storage chamber can be pumped away by an air pumping means such as a vacuum pump to maintain the storage chamber in a low pressure state when the storage chamber is closed, thereby prolonging the preservation time of food.
The low pressure storage unit is provided with a locking mechanism for locking the door and the main body when the door is in the closed position, and a handle provided in association with the locking mechanism. The handle is provided at the front end of the door, and includes a handle bar located in front of the door and extending over substantially the entire width of the door, left and right support portions connected to both ends of the handle bar and extending rearward, and a handle operating portion connected to the center portion of the bar body. The left and right support portions are pivotally connected to both end sides of the door, respectively, so that the handle can be rotatably moved with respect to the door. The locking mechanism includes a first fitting part at the end of the support part and a second fitting part on the outer surface of the side wall of the main body, and by rotating the handle, the first fitting part is also rotated to be pushed into the second fitting part to form locking with the latter, thereby locking the door in the closed position to improve the airtightness of the low-pressure storage unit. The locked state of the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion can be released by rotating the handle lever in the opposite direction.
With this solution, when the handle is operated, the handle lever and the front surface of the door must be held at a distance in front so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis defined by a fulcrum connected to the support portion and extending inside the door. This increases the occupied volume of the low-pressure storage unit and reduces the volumetric efficiency of the refrigeration appliance, and on the other hand, the handle bar exposed in front of the storage unit is also not good for aesthetic considerations.
In addition, the second matching part is arranged on the outer side of the side wall of the main body, when the locking mechanism is in a locking state, the first matching part extends to the outer side of the main body from the door, so that not only is a sufficient distance required to be kept between the main body and the inner container of the refrigeration appliance for arranging the locking mechanism to reduce the space utilization rate of the refrigeration appliance, but also the first matching part extending backwards from the door to the outer side of the main body can influence the overall appearance of the refrigeration appliance.
In addition, the movable first engaging portion overlaps the second engaging portion in the moving direction of the door at least at one position, so that the first engaging portion may strike the second engaging portion during the closing of the door to cause the breakage of the locking mechanism.
Further, a certain gap is required to be maintained between the tray connected to the rear of the door and the main body so that the tray can be smoothly pushed into or pulled out of the main body, which causes the door and the tray to be shaken when the door is opened or closed, and more importantly, the abutting position between the door and the main body is varied due to the gap when the door is closed, which may cause the first and second engaging portions to be inaccurately positioned and locked, and may also affect the positioning of the sealing member positioned between the door and the main body.
The same technical problem exists with the low pressure storage unit disclosed in EP 1706688B 1.

[ detailed description of the invention ]
Referring to fig. 1, a refrigerator 1 includes a heat-insulating box 2, and the box 2 includes a casing 2a, an inner container 2b, and a heat-insulating layer (not shown) therebetween. The cabinet 2 defines a plurality of insulated storage compartments 3, 4, 5 for storing items such as food. In the present embodiment, these storage compartments are respectively a cold storage compartment 3 located at the upper part, a freezer compartment 5 located at the bottom part and a fresh food compartment 4 located between the two, the temperature of which is kept slightly above zero degrees centigrade. The storage compartments 3, 4, 5 can be closed by means of respective appliance doors (not shown).
It should be understood that the present invention should not be limited to a specific distribution of the storage compartments of the refrigeration appliance, but the present invention can also be applied to other types of refrigeration appliances, such as a refrigerator having a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment distributed up and down/up, a side-by-side refrigerator having storage compartments arranged side by side, a refrigeration appliance having a drawer-type door and/or a french-type side-by-side door, and the like.
The refrigeration appliance 1 has an evaporative refrigeration system forming a closed loop. The refrigeration system includes at least a compressor (not shown), a condenser (not shown), a throttle device (not shown), and an evaporator (not shown). Since such a refrigeration system is well known in the art, further description thereof is omitted. Of course, other types of refrigeration systems (e.g., absorption refrigeration systems, thermoelectric refrigeration systems) may also be used in the refrigeration device 1.
The refrigerator 1 is provided with a low-pressure storage unit 7 which can be maintained in a low-pressure state, and an air-extracting device (not shown) for extracting gas from the low-pressure storage unit 7. The air-extracting means may comprise a vacuum pump and a pipe (not shown) connected between the vacuum pump and the low pressure storage unit 7.
In this embodiment, the low pressure storage unit 7 is disposed within the fresh food compartment 4. It should be understood that in other embodiments, the low-pressure storage unit 7 may be disposed in other storage compartments, such as the refrigerating compartment 3 or a temperature-changing compartment whose temperature range is switchable between a refrigerating temperature zone and a freezing temperature zone.
The low pressure storage and reduction unit 7 is located at the bottom of the fresh food compartment 4 and is supported on the bottom wall of the fresh food compartment 4. A fresh-keeping container 6 with high humidity and suitable for keeping food such as vegetables and the like can be arranged above the low-pressure storage unit 7.
The low pressure storage unit 7 may be assembled in the cabinet 2 after being constructed independently of the cabinet 2. Referring to fig. 2 and 3, in the present embodiment, the low-pressure storage unit 7 has a substantially flat rectangular parallelepiped shape having a width slightly smaller than that of the fresh food compartment 4, so that the low-pressure storage unit 7 can be inserted into or pulled out of the fresh food compartment 4.
The low pressure storage unit 7 includes a main body 8 fixed in the fresh food compartment 4 and a door 10 connected to the main body 8 and movable into and out of the fresh food compartment 4.
Referring to fig. 2 to 4, the main body 8 has a box-shaped structure defining a flat storage chamber 15 having a food access opening 15 a. The access opening 15a is preferably located at the front end of the body 8 facing the user.
In a preferred embodiment, the main body 8 includes at least one first member made of a metal having a relatively high strength (e.g., a steel plate) and at least one second member made of a plastic material, and the first member and the second member respectively form walls that receive external pressure when the inside of the storage chamber 15 is in a low pressure state. In the present embodiment, the first member forms the top wall 20, the bottom wall 21, and the left and right side walls 22 of the main body 8, and forms the box body 11 having the front and rear ports. The second member includes a rear cover 23 closing the rear port of the body 11, and the rear cover 23 has an air-extracting passage for connection with an air-extracting device and an air-extracting valve 60 for opening and closing the fluid passage. The second member may further include a front connection frame 17 connected to the front port of the cartridge body 11. The front connection frame 17 may have a flat abutment surface 18 substantially perpendicular to the horizontal plane for abutment with the door 10.
The door 10 may be provided with an annular sealing element 16 (see fig. 8) to provide an airtight engagement between the body 8 and the door 10 when the door 10 is in the closed position, preventing gas from entering the storage chamber 15 from the junction between the body 8 and the door 10. The sealing element 16 may also be arranged at the front end of the body 8, for example connected to a front connection frame 17.
When the storage chamber 15 is closed by the door 10 and the air extracting means is activated, the air in the storage chamber 15 is extracted and the storage chamber 15 is in a low pressure state. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, at the end of the evacuation process, the pressure within the storage chamber 15 is between one standard atmosphere and an absolute vacuum (e.g., less than 690 millibars absolute). Since the air pressure in the storage chamber 15 is lower than the standard atmospheric pressure, those skilled in the art are also commonly referred to as "vacuum chamber".
The door 10 is a drawer type door, which can be pushed toward the main body 8 to close the access opening 15a of the storage chamber 15 or pulled out to open the storage chamber 15. The rear side of the door 10 is connected to a tray-like container 12 for holding articles. The user obtains the items located in the low-pressure storage unit 7 or stores the items in the low-pressure storage unit 7 by pushing or pulling the tray-like container 12 into or out of the storage chamber 15. The door 10 and the tray-like container 12 together constitute a drawer unit that can be pushed into and pulled out of the main body 8.
A retractable guide unit 14 may be provided between the tray-like container 12 and the main body 8 so that the door 10 and the tray-like container 12 can be smoothly pulled out of or pushed into the main body 8.
The low pressure storage unit 7 includes a pair of locking mechanisms for locking the door 10 and the main body 8 in the closed position. As shown in fig. 3, 6, 11a, and 11b, each of the locking mechanisms includes a first engagement portion 34 provided on the door 10 and a second engagement portion 44 provided on the body 8, the door 10 is locked in the closed position by the engagement of the first engagement portion 34 and the second engagement portion 44, and the sealing member 16 between the body 8 and the door 10 is sufficiently deformed by the locking force generated by the locking mechanism, so that the airtightness between the door 10 and the body 8 is improved.
As shown in fig. 3-6, the second mating portion 44 is connected to the abutment surface 18 of the main body 8 and projects forward. The second fitting portion 44 includes a base portion 45 connected to the abutment surface 18 and projecting forward, and a columnar locking portion 46 located forward of the abutment surface 18. The locking portion 46 is spaced from the abutment surface 18 by a predetermined distance, and its axis extends transversely and parallel to the horizontal plane and the abutment surface 18. The locking portion 46 is located inside the base portion 45.
As shown in fig. 5a and 5b, the locking portion 46 includes an inner post 46a fixed to the base portion 45 and an outer wheel 46b fitted over the inner post 46a and rollable around the inner post 46 a. The rollable outer wheel 46b reduces the engagement friction of the locking portion 46 with the first mating portion 44, making it easier for both to enter the locking position. The inner column 46a may be integrally formed with the base 45, or may be separately formed from the base 45 and then attached to the base 45. In a particularly simple embodiment, the inner column 46a is constituted by a screw fixed to the base 45.
Referring to fig. 3 and 6, the door 10 includes a door body 26, a brake unit 27 fixed to the door body 26, a fixing member 28 for fixing the brake unit 27 to the door body 26, and a decorative cover 29 connected to the door body 26 to shield a corresponding portion of the brake unit 27.
As shown in fig. 6 and 9, the brake unit 27 includes a handle 32 having a substantially plate shape, a cylindrical rod 33 fixed to the handle 32, and a pair of first engagement portions 34 fixed to respective ends of the rod 33.
The lever body 33 is fixed to the rear side of the handle 32. The handle 32 has a plurality of fixing portions 35 protruding from a rear surface thereof, and the fixing portions 35 are located at an upper portion of the handle 32. Each of the fixing portions 35 has cylindrical fixing holes 61 extending in the lateral direction to allow the rod body 33 to be coupled to the handle 32 through the fixing holes 61.
In the present embodiment, the lever body 33 and the handle 32 are fixed together so as not to be movable relative to each other. This can be achieved by using a screw 37 to join the rod 33 and the fixing portion 35.
A first engaging portion 34 is fixed to each end of the rod 33. In this embodiment, the first engaging portion 34 is fixed on the rod 33 by a fixing device such as a screw, and is immovably fixed on the rod 33 after being sleeved on the corresponding end of the rod 33, so that when the rod 33 is rotated around its central axis X by fixing the door 26, the first engaging portion 34 is also rotated around the central axis X of the rod 33.
In the present embodiment, the first fitting portion 34 has a substantially fan shape, which is gradually enlarged from the inside to the outside. A cam curved surface 34a to be engaged with the locking portion 46 is formed at a free end of the first engaging portion 34. The cam curved surface 34a is disposed toward the lever body 33. The cam curved surface 34a includes a lead-in curved surface section 341 farther from the central axis X and a locking curved surface section 342 closer to the central axis X.
A transition protrusion 343 may be provided between the introduction curved section 341 and the locking curved section 342 to protrude toward the rod body 33. The transition protrusion 343 prevents the locking portion 46 from sliding out of the locking curved section 342 and, in addition, when the locking portion 46 slides over the transition protrusion 343 into the locking curved section 342, the user needs to overcome the maximum resistance and the locking portion 46 then enters the locking curved section 343 to complete the locking, thus also having the function of alerting the user that the door 10 and the body 8 have completed the locking.
Near the first fitting part 34, the rod body 33 is provided with two annular limiting grooves 39. The retaining groove 39 is radially recessed from the outer circumferential surface of the rod 33 by a depth to limit axial movement of the rod 33 within the door 10 in cooperation with corresponding means on the door 10.
The rear side of the handle 32 may be provided with an inflation valve 25 for closing or opening an inflation passage 19 (shown in fig. 7 and 8) provided on the door body 26 for releasing the low pressure state of the storage chamber 15. In this way, the inflation valve 25 is provided in association with the handle 32, and the inflation passage 19 can be opened or closed in accordance with the operation of the handle 32.
Referring to fig. 7 and 8 in conjunction with fig. 6, the door 26 is a generally square plate, preferably made of plastic.
The door body 26 has a housing space 30 recessed rearward from a front surface 26a thereof to house at least a portion of the brake unit 27. On the rear side of the door 26, the door 26 has a projection 31 corresponding to the shape of the housing space 30 to compensate for the thickness loss on the front side of the door 26 due to the provision of the housing space 30.
The housing space 30 is substantially T-shaped, and includes a first housing portion 30a located in a central region of the door 26 and a second housing portion 30b extending in the width direction of the door 26. First receiving portion 30a and second receiving portion 30b partially overlap.
The first receiving portion 30a is configured to receive a handle 32 of the brake unit 27. One side of the first receiving portion 30a extends to open to one end surface of the door 26 to form an opening at the one end surface so that a user's hand can be inserted into the inside of the handle 32. In the present embodiment, the lower end of the first storage portion 30a extends to the lower end surface 26b of the door 26, and the user grips the lower end of the handle 32 and operates the handle 32. A distance is maintained between the lower end of the handle 32 and the lower end surface 26b of the door body 26 so that the user's hand can be inserted into the rear side of the handle 32. The rear side of the lower end edge of the handle 32 may be provided with a row of teeth-like projections to facilitate the user's hand to grasp the end edge to operate the handle 32 after reaching into the rear side of the handle 32.
The outer end of inflation channel 19 communicates with first receiving portion 30 a. When the handle 32 is in the position shown in fig. 2, the inflation channel 19 is tightly closed by the inflation valve 25; when the handle 32 is in the position shown in fig. 11a, the inflation passage 19 has been opened, and external air can enter the storage chamber 15 through the inflation passage 19 to release the low pressure state of the storage chamber 15. It should be understood that in other embodiments, the inflation channel and inflation valve may be provided separately from the handle 32. For example, a button is provided on the door 10, by pressing the button, the inflation passage is opened, and then the user operates the handle 32 again to open the door 10.
The rod 33 is received in the second receiving portion 30 b. The left and right ends of the second housing portion 30b are adjacent to the left and right end surfaces 26c, 26d of the door 26, but are spaced apart from the left and right end surfaces 26c, 26d without being exposed thereto. The second housing portion 30b is not exposed to the upper and lower end surfaces 26b, 26e of the door 26.
Second receiving portion 30b has a plurality of spaced apart semi-annular first grooves 37 formed therein. These first grooves 37 are located on the same horizontal plane and receive corresponding portions of the rod 33. First recess 37 may be provided on mounting block 36 located within second receiving portion 30 b.
As shown in fig. 10a, a semi-annular protrusion 40 is provided in at least one first recess 37. When the rod 33 is mounted on the door 26, the protrusion 40 corresponds to the stopper groove 39 of the rod 33.
As shown in fig. 6, the fixing member 28 is also formed with a semi-annular second groove 41 corresponding to the first groove 37. As shown in fig. 10b, a similar semi-annular stop projection 40' may also be formed in the second groove 41 to mate with the stop groove 39.
By securing the rod 33 within the first and second grooves 37, 41, radial movement of the rod 33 is limited. By providing a stop mechanism between the rod 33 and the door 26 and/or the fixing member 28, the axial movement of the rod 33 during rotation is limited, and accurate positioning of the rod 33 and the fixing member 28 during installation is facilitated.
It should be understood that in other embodiments, the limiting groove of the axial limiting mechanism of the rod body 33 can be arranged on the door body and/or the fixing member, and the rod body is provided with the limiting protrusion.
Both ends of the door 26 are formed with through grooves 42 communicating with the second storage portion 30b and penetrating the door 26 in the front and rear directions. The first fitting portion 34 extends to the rear side of the door body 26 through the through groove 42. The through groove 42 is preferably provided in an annular region between the annular seal member 16 and the outer peripheral end surfaces 26b to 26e of the door body 26, which does not affect the airtightness between the door 10 and the main body 8, and since the through groove 42 is isolated from the respective end surfaces 26b to 26d of the door body 26, the first fitting portion 34 is not exposed to the outside of the door 10 when the door 10 is closed.
When assembling, after the first engaging portion 34 passes through the through groove 42, the limiting groove 39 of the rod 33 engages with the protrusion 40, and the rod 33 is received in the receiving space 30. The rod 33 is then fixed in the door 10 by the fixing member 28. The fasteners 28 may include screws to penetrate the fasteners 28 and engage the mounting blocks 36. The handle 32 and the first fitting portion 34 connected to the lever body 33 are fixed to the door body 26.
After that, the trim cover 29 is attached to the door body 26 to shield a portion of the brake unit 25 except for the handle 32 from the front of the door 10. Thus, the rod body 33 is integrally located in the door 10.
The front surface of the trim cover 29 is preferably flush with the front surface 26a of the door body 26. The trim cover 29 may have a different color and/or material than the door body 26.
The handle 32 is rotatably attached to the door 10 after being fixed to the door body 26. When the handle 32 is rotated, the rod 33 inside the door 26 rotates around its own central axis X and drives the first engaging portion 34 to rotate. The lever body 33 defines a rotation axis of the handle 32 and the first fitting portion 34. In this process, although the lever 32 rotates, the center axis X of the lever 32 and the first engagement portion 34 does not displace with respect to the door 26 as a rotation axis.
The handle 32 is rotatable about the central axis X of the lever 33 between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the handle 32 forms the largest angle with the front surface 26a of the door 26 and the lower end forms the largest distance with the front surface 26a of the door 26, so the first position can also be referred to as the extended position. In the second position, the angle formed between the handle 32 and the front surface 26a of the door 26 is smallest and the lower end thereof is spaced apart from the front surface 26a of the door 26 by the smallest distance, so that the second position can also be referred to as the retracted position. Accordingly, the first engagement portion 34 associated with the handle 32 is also restricted from rotating between a first extreme position (as shown in fig. 11 a) when the handle 32 is in the first position and a second extreme position (as shown in fig. 11 b) when the handle is in the second position.
Fig. 11a shows the door 10 in the closed position but not yet locked, with the handle 32 in the first position. When the user presses the handle 32 downward and forward, the handle 32 rotates inward around the central axis X of the rod 33, and at the same time, the rod 33 also rotates around its central axis X to rotate the first matching portion 34 upward, and the cam curved surface 34a of the first matching portion 34 gradually approaches the locking portion 46 of the second matching portion 44.
Fig. 11b shows the door 10 and the body 8 in a locked state with the handle 32 in a second position. As shown in fig. 11b and 2, when the handle 32 is rotated to the second position, the locking portion 46 enters and tightly engages with the locking curved section 342 of the first fitting portion 34 a. At the same time, the inflation valve 25 located inside the handle 32 abuts against the inflation channel 19 on the door body 26 to close the inflation channel 19.
The engagement of the first and second engagement portions 34 and 44 in the locked position provides a locking force between the door 10 and the body 8 to sufficiently deform the sealing member 16 to improve the air-tightness between the door 10 and the body 8.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when handle 32 is in the second position (first mating portion 34 and second mating portion 44 are in the locked position), the front surface of handle 32 is in the vertical position substantially perpendicular to the horizontal plane, which is particularly advantageous for retracting handle 32 into first receiving portion 30 a. Preferably, at least a substantial part of the handle 32 in the second position is received in the receiving space 30 to reduce the occupied volume of the low pressure storage unit 7. It is particularly preferred that the handle 32 in the second position is completely contained within the door body 26, not beyond the front surface of the door 10.
The door 10 is provided with the second limiting structure 47 for limiting the handle 32 from rotating continuously when the handle 32 rotates to the vertical plane (the second position), which prevents the upper end of the handle 32 from protruding out of the accommodating space 30 due to the continuous rotation of the handle 32, so that the appearance of the door 10 looks smoother.
The second limit structure 47 is disposed between the handle 32 and the door 26. It can be formed by a convex structure fixed inside the handle 32 and/or on the front side of the door 26, and arranged such that: when the front surface of the handle 32 is in the vertical position, the second stopper 47 fixed to the door body 26 abuts just inside the portion of the handle 32 located below the rod body 33, or the second stopper fixed to the inside of the handle 32 abuts just on the front side of the door body 26.
These raised structures are preferably located near the inner side wall of first receiving portion 30a when handle 32 is in the second position to reduce the likelihood of interference with the user's hand. The second limit structure 47 can be integrally formed on the door 26 and/or the handle 32.
When the door 10 is to be opened, a user can hold the lower end of the handle 32 and lift it upward and outward, the handle 32 rotates around the central axis X of the rod 33 and drives the rod 33 to rotate, the first engaging portions 34 fixed at both ends of the rod 33 rotate downward, and the locking portions 46 gradually leave the cam curved surfaces 34a of the first engaging portions 34. In this process, the inflation valve 25 also releases the closure of the inflation passage 19, and the external air enters the storage chamber 15 through the inflation passage 19 to equalize the internal and external pressures. Thereafter, the user can hold the handle 32 and pull forward, i.e., open the door 10.
The first limit formation 48 may be arranged such that: after the handle 32 is rotated outward to the maximum angle to reach the first position, the first limit structure 48 abuts against the inner side of the portion of the handle 32 above the rod 33. Preferably, the first limiting structure 48 is disposed close to the upper inner wall of the first receiving portion 30a and keeps a certain distance from the latter, and when the handle 32 is rotated to the first position, the inner side of the portion of the handle 32 above the rod 33 abuts against the first limiting structure 48, and further rotation of the handle 32 is limited.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, when the appliance door of the refrigeration appliance 1 is in the closed state and the door 10 of the low-pressure storage unit 7 is in the closed position but the handle 32 is in the second position (extended position), the inside of the appliance door is at a distance from the handle 32 in order to avoid damage to the low-pressure storage unit 7 when the appliance door is closed. Therefore, by limiting the angle of outward rotation of the handle 32 to a certain range, the length of the forward protrusion of the handle 32 can be limited to a certain range, and thus, the distance between the low pressure storage unit 7 and the inside of the appliance door of the refrigeration appliance 1 can be reduced, thereby increasing the space utilization of the refrigeration appliance 1.
As shown in fig. 6 and 11b, when the handle 32 is in the second position, the front end of the first fitting portion 34 in the second extreme position overlaps the locking portion 46 of the second fitting portion 44 in the front-rear direction. In order to avoid damage to the low pressure storage unit 7 caused by the front end of the first fitting portion 34 striking the locking portion 46 when the user pushes the door 1 in the pulled-out state into the closed position, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 9, 12a and 12b, the door 10 includes a holding means 49 for holding the first fitting portion 34 in a safe position after the door 10 is released from the locked state, the safe position being selected such that: during the closing of the door 10, the first fitting portion 34 moving forward is in the safety position not to hit the locking portion 46.
In a preferred embodiment, the retaining means 49 achieve the retention of the first fitting part 34 in said safety position by keeping the handle 32 at a safety angle. This safety angle may be equal to or slightly less than the angle between the longitudinal plane (maximum outward rotation angle) when the handle 32 is in the first position, i.e. the safety position of the first fitting part 34 may be its first extreme position or close to it. It is to be understood that the front end of the first fitting portion 34 and the locking portion 46 should not overlap in the front-rear direction when the handle 32 is in the first position/extended position.
In a particularly easy to implement embodiment, the retaining means 49 comprise a spring. Preferably, the retaining device 49 can be implemented by a torsion spring having a first end 49a fixed to the door 26 or a component immovably fixed to the door 26 (e.g., the mount 28) and a second end 49b fixed to the handle 32. When the handle 32 is in the first position, the torsion spring applies an outward twisting force to the handle 32 to provide the handle 32 with a force to continue to rotate outward, and is reliably maintained in the first position because the handle 32 is restrained from further rotation by the first stop structure 48.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the retaining device 49 is further configured to provide an inward twisting force to the handle 32 in the second position so that the lower end of the handle 32 does not tilt out, thereby securely retaining the handle 32 in the upright position.
Thus, for the retaining device 49 to provide opposite directions of torque to the handle 32 in the first and second positions, respectively, the handle 32 may be in equilibrium when the handle 32 is in an equilibrium position between the first and second positions. When the handle 32 is rotated slightly outwardly from this equilibrium position, the torque provided by the retaining means 49 to the handle 32 will cause it to rotate outwardly until the handle 32 reaches the first position, which is restricted from further rotation; after the handle 32 is rotated slightly inward from the equilibrium angle, the handle 32 may be rotated inward by the inward torque applied by the retaining device 49 until the handle 32 reaches the second position and is restricted from further rotation.
Although in the above embodiment, the handle 32 is held in the first position and the second position, respectively, by the same torsion spring, the present invention should not be limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments, the retaining means for retaining the handle 32 in the first and second positions, respectively, may be provided separately.
Since there is a gap between the container 12 and the main body 8, even if the container 12 or the door 10 is supported on the main body 8 by the retractable rail unit 14, the drawer unit including the door 10 is shaken within a shaking range during the process of pulling out or pushing the drawer unit from or into the main body 8. This range of play is related to the clearance between the drawer unit and the main body 8 and is affected by the strength of the telescopic rail unit 14 (if any). Thus, when the door 10 is in the closed state, the door 10 and the body 8 may not be aligned accurately, so that the sealing element 16 may not be positioned well on the abutment surface 18, and the first and second fitting portions 34 and 44 may not be in proper pre-fitting positions. To improve this, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the low pressure storage unit 7 includes a positioning mechanism for positioning the door 10 at a fixed position or within a fixed range smaller than the shaking range when the door 10 is closed, so that the door 10 and the main body 8 are accurately positioned when the door 10 is in the closed position.
The positioning mechanism includes a first positioning portion 51 on the door 10 and a second positioning portion 52 on the main body 8 that cooperates with the first positioning portion 51. As shown in fig. 8, the first positioning portions 51 are arranged in the door 26 so as not to extend beyond the end faces 26b, 26c, 26d, 26e of the door 26. In the present embodiment, the first positioning portion 51 is located outside the seal member 16 and adjacent to the through groove 42. As shown in fig. 3, 4, 5a and 5b, the second positioning portion 52 is located in front of the abutting surface 18 and protrudes forward from the abutting surface 18, but is provided so as not to exceed the outer edge of the front connection frame 17.
Therefore, when the door 10 is closed and the first positioning portion 51 and the second positioning portion 52 are fitted, the second positioning portion 52 is housed inside the door 10 and is located in the annular region between the seal member 16 and the peripheral end faces 26b to 26e of the door 10. The first positioning portion 51 and the second positioning portion 52 are provided in such a manner as not to be exposed to the outer surface of the low pressure storage unit 7 when the door 10 is closed, not only for aesthetic purposes, but also for the positioning mechanism, it is not necessary to additionally increase the distance between the low pressure storage unit 7 and the inner container 2b when the low pressure storage unit 7 is installed in the fresh food compartment 4.
The first positioning part 51 and the second positioning part 52 are preferably provided in a form-fitting connection. In the present embodiment, the first positioning portion 51 is constituted by a slot provided on the door 10. The insertion groove is open at a side facing the main body 8 to allow insertion of the second positioning portion 52. When the door 10 is in the closed position, the second positioning portion 52 is inserted into the first positioning portion 51, and the outer surface of the second positioning portion 52 abuts against the corresponding inner surface of the first positioning portion 51 to restrict the lateral movement and the longitudinal movement of the door 10, so that the door 10 is accurately positioned.
Since the second positioning portion 52 protrudes forward from the abutting surface 18 and is inserted into the first positioning portion 51 when the door 10 does not reach the closed position, the positioning mechanism can also guide the movement of the door 10, which can reduce the wobbling of the door 10 and the tray type container 12 during the closing process to some extent. The insertion groove of the first positioning portion 51 may be provided as a wedge-shaped groove having a maximum opening portion and gradually narrowing from the rear to the front, and accordingly, the insertion portion of the second positioning portion 52 also has a wedge-shaped shape gradually narrowing from the rear to the front and having a minimum front end portion. Therefore, the second positioning portion 52 can be very easily inserted into the first positioning portion 52 at the time of insertion, and as the door 10 gradually approaches the closed position, the gap between the inner surface of the first positioning portion 51 and the outer peripheral surface of the second positioning portion 52 in the lateral and longitudinal directions gradually decreases, and the degree of shakability of the drawer unit including the door 10 gradually decreases. When the door 10 reaches the closed position, the gap between the two is minimized (e.g., 1-2 mm), so that the door 10 is positioned within a fixed range that is significantly smaller than the maximum wobbling range of the drawer unit during the closing process (which occurs before the first and second positioning portions 51, 52 are engaged). Of course, in an alternative embodiment, the first positioning portion 51 and the second positioning portion 52 may be closely attached when the door 10 reaches the closed position, so that the door 10 is positioned at a fixed position when closed.
Particularly preferably, the second positioning portion 52 is directly formed by the base portion 45 of the second fitting portion 44. It should be understood that in other embodiments, it is also possible for the second positioning portion 52 to be constituted by an insertion portion that is separate from the second fitting portion 44.
In other embodiments, the second positioning portion 52 may be formed by an insertion groove, and the first positioning portion 51 may be formed by an insertion portion inserted into the second positioning portion 52.
