技术领域
本发明涉及在焊接操作之后对不锈钢和其它金属的清洁。为了方便的原因,将相对于焊接的不锈钢表面来描述本发明,但是,将理解,本发明不限于此,因为本发明可以应用于其它焊接的表面。
背景技术
在焊接不锈钢表面的过程中,铬被耗尽,并由此露出了铁,导致局部脱色,因此必须去除局部脱色以恢复不锈钢的有光泽的外观。在焊接处理的过程中,还会在表面上形成氧化层(scale)形式的金属氧化物,需要清除或用其它方式去除这些金属氧化物。
可用毒酸(包括氢氟酸和硝酸)的酸洗凝胶去除不锈钢零件上的表面锈迹和焊接氧化层。此现有技术方法需要大量时间并导致危及职业健康以及安全的结果。
还已知使用电启动不锈钢焊接清洁装置,其利用不导电织物短袜状部覆盖实心或线电极。短袜状部用作电极与工件之间的分隔器,并用作用于酸性电解洗涤液的储液器。
短袜状物浸透洗涤液,这在电极与工件之间提供了短导电路径。流过洗涤液的电流对洗涤液加热,并且,洗涤液变得更具化学活性,从而清洁金属表面。
这些现有技术装置的一个缺点是,织物短袜易于变干,因而过程中的热量会使其燃烧。另一缺点是,电极本质上是刚性的形状,其无法适应在不锈钢制造的结构中遇到的许多奇特的形状。
另一种方法是,使用由导电容器组成的导电刷,一束导电丝或导电纤维从导电容器中延伸出来。然而,这种导电刷不适合用作刷毛,因为纤维易于耷拉在其侧面上(特别是当用电解液使其湿润时),而不是使直立的纤维端作为工作接触点。
电流沿着最短路径传播,以使得电流将沿着其长度流过纤维部分路径的侧部,在那里,纤维与被清洁的金属表面接触。这导致两个问题:一个问题是,由电流流过纤维的侧壁产生的热量趋向于在接触点处切断纤维。而第二个问题是,此电流的流动执行期望的加热浸渍电解液从而清洁金属表面的作用,由于纤维的广泛伸展而降低了清洁过程的精确控制。当加工到转角中时,电流到达最近的接触点,并由此显著减少了到达转角整个深度的电流。因此,难以适当地清洁双面转角,清洁三面转角甚至更难。
发明内容
根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种导电焊刷,其包括:具有第一端和第二端的导电容器;一束导电纤维,其一端固定至容器的第一端,这束导电纤维的其余部分从容器中延伸;以及可滑动支撑套筒,其具有沿着容器可滑动的内端,所述套筒具有沿着这束纤维可移动的成形外端部。

具体实施方式
附图所示的导电焊刷10包括导电容器12和一束导电纤维13,这束导电纤维13的内端固定在导电容器12内。如可在图3中看到的,导电容器12具有扁平的结构,并在非纤维端处具有连接部14,非纤维端连接至杆(wand)16内的导体15。顶部绝缘体17包围连接部14、刷12的端部17和杆16的插座18。绝缘体19包围杆16且其内端位于顶部绝缘体17内。
导电刷10还包括可滑动支撑套筒20,其具有用于容纳导电容器12的第一端部21和包围纤维束13并使该纤维束成形的成形第二端部22。支撑套筒20具有酸入口23,使得可浸渍刷10以施加酸,并且,纤维容纳部分22的端部的轮廓可成形为适应任何具体的应用。
如将从以上描述中显而易见的,可在执行清洁时将纤维束保持在期望的形状。这可由可滑动支撑套筒来实现,可滑动支撑套筒在其外端可具有各种形状,并且,其横截面以这样的方式精确地装配在纤维束上:当纤维在使用中退化时,允许沿着纤维长度对其进行调节。
本发明的导电刷具有改进的性能,这通过能量传递的集中以及通过使纤维端出现在金属表面来实现,并且纤维端与金属表面之间的改进的电弧处理用来帮助破坏有可能形成在一些焊接上的坚硬金属氧化物。
容器12的优选形状是具有圆形端部的矩形,其给出了具有均匀截面厚度的平刷。
可滑动支撑套筒可由多种材料(例如,特氟纶、陶瓷或金属)中的任一种制成。使支撑套筒20的一端成形为可滑动地套在纤维刷束13和容器12上,其中对于套筒长度的一部分具有一些间隙。套筒的其余部分成形为滑动地套在刷绝缘体上,对于任何横截面形状,刷绝缘体采用具体设计。
在本发明的改进中,可通过杆16将洗涤液引入容器12的内部中。
工业实用性
本发明的导电焊刷可应用于焊接的不锈钢和其它金属表面的清洁。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于在焊接操作之后通过将电流通至待清洁金属表面而清洁该金属表面的导电焊刷,所述导电焊刷包括:具有第一端和第二端的导电容器;一束导电纤维,其一端固定至所述容器的第一端,该束导电纤维的其余部分从所述容器中延伸;可滑动支撑套筒,其具有沿着所述容器可滑动的内端,所述可滑动支撑套筒具有沿着这束纤维可移动的成形外端部;以及电导体,其连接至所述导电容器,所述电导体与所述导电容器电接触。
2.根据权利要求1所述的导电焊刷,其中,可滑动支撑套筒的外端部具有预定形状,其包围纤维束并使纤维束成形为适合具体应用。
3.根据权利要求2所述的导电焊刷,其中,所述可滑动支撑套筒的外端部的横截面形状是具有圆形端部的矩形,以使所述纤维束形成具有均匀横截面的平刷。
4.根据权利要求1所述的导电焊刷,其中,可滑动支撑套筒由特氟纶或陶瓷材料制成。
5.根据权利要求1所述的导电焊刷,其中,可滑动支撑套筒具有开口,洗涤液能够通过所述开口引入纤维束中。
6.根据权利要求1所述的导电焊刷,其中,所述导电容器具有与所述可滑动支撑套筒的内端部相似的形状,并在其第二端处具有电连接部,并且,其中,所述电导体设置在与所述导电容器连接的杆内,所述电导体与所述导电容器的电连接部电接触。
7.根据权利要求6所述的导电焊刷,进一步包括围绕所述导电容器的第二端和所述杆的内端的绝缘体。
8.根据权利要求1所述的导电焊刷,进一步包括在所述导电容器和所述可滑动支撑套筒之间围绕所述导电容器的绝缘体。
