Abstract

本申请要求2008年10月22日提交的、名称为“盒盖组件中的自密封袋”的序列号为61/196,969的美国专利申请的优先权,在此通过参引的方式将该美国专利申请的全部公开内容并入其中。
技术领域
本公开一般涉及盖组件,并且更具体地,涉及盒盖组件中的自密封袋。这种盖组件被使用时与可流动材料从袋中的分配相关联。
背景技术
自密封袋已经变得越来越有用,尤其是在食品包装行业中。一种现有的系统使用具有喷口的柔性袋,可从Scholle公司获得的Sentry型盖附接于该喷口。设有单独的软管,该软管在第一端具有探针(probe)并且在第二端具有可从Erie Plastics公司获得的连接器,该连接器具有柔性隔膜。一种这种隔膜可从伊利诺伊州的LMS公司获得。所述探针插入到Sentry型盖的开口中,并且另一端附接于分配软管,使得可流动材料通过Sentry型盖从柔性袋被收回,并到达分配软管。一种这种系统示出在图1中,其总体上用100来指代。这种盖的多个不同实施例示出在颁发给Verespej等人并转让给Scholle公司的第7,387,220号美国专利以及颁发给Verespej等人并转让给Scholle公司的第7,357,277号美国专利中。在此通过参引的方式将这两个专利的全部内容并入其中。

发明内容
本公开针对一种盖组件,其中该盖组件包括主体、密封隔膜以及保持环。该主体包括顶表面和底表面。喷口接合通道定位在该底表面上。开口被设成穿过该主体并包括凹入的周向通道和靠近该凹入的周向通道定位的隔膜接合凸缘。
密封隔膜覆盖所述开口并包括主体接合凸缘和可刺穿表面。密封隔膜定位在隔膜接合凸缘上,使得主体接合凸缘和隔膜接合凸缘处于覆盖接合的状态。
保持环包括突出部、密封隔膜接合表面以及与该密封隔膜接合表面相对的内壁结构。保持环定位成使得密封隔膜接合表面与密封隔膜处于覆盖接合的状态。突出部到主体的凹入的周向通道中的延伸可释放地保持所述覆盖接合的状态,并将保持环偏压抵靠在隔膜上。保持环的内壁结构径向向内延伸越过密封隔膜的隔膜接合凸缘,继而保护隔膜。
在优选的实施例中,盖组件还包括可移除地联接于主体的盖。所述盖构造成在盖组件与袋可操作地接合时排除通向开口和密封隔膜。
在另一个优选实施例中,保持环的内壁结构包括向内倾斜的表面。
在又一个优选实施例中,所述向内倾斜的表面以锐角倾斜。
优选地,凹入的周向槽与所述盖的顶表面隔开。
在优选实施例中,所述开口还包括定位在凹入的周向通道上方的上部的向内倾斜壁部。在某些实施例中,下部的向内倾斜壁部可以定位在隔膜下方。

现在参照附图,并且尤其是参照图2,容器组件10包括容器主体12、喷口14以及盖组件16。容器主体12包括多个面板以及多个密封件。面板和密封件协同限定出空腔26。当然,本发明不限于任何特定数量的面板和/或密封件,或者具有任何特定几何构形的容器主体。例如,容器主体其中可包括枕袋式容器(pillow-type container),或者可包括装有角撑板的的容器等。
示例性的喷口14在图2中示出为包括主体、基部凸缘以及握紧凸缘。基部凸缘从主体延伸。基部凸缘比袋上的开口大,使得围绕该开口的面板被焊接到基部凸缘上,从而提供基本流体密封的连接。握紧凸缘包括多个凸缘,这些凸缘构造成用于通过填充设备进行配件的握紧和保持,以及用于通过容器组件定位在其中的其他容器进行保持(即,袋的盒在盒容器组件中的保持)。配件其中可以包括HDPE材料或者聚丙烯材料等。
示例性的盖组件16在图3和/或图4的每一个中示出为包括基部40、密封隔膜42、保持环44以及盖/密封件46。主体40包括顶表面50、底表面52以及开口54。通常,主体和盖可以一体地模制(跟Scholle公司销售的Sentry产品很像)。密封隔膜和保持环包括联接于基部的单独元件。在某些实施例中,盖可以省去,并且隔膜密封件(由金属薄片或聚合物膜形成)可以与主体的顶表面50密封地接合。该隔膜易破碎,并且在排管或探针插入到盖组件的开口54中之前或插入的同时被刺穿。
所述顶表面包括周向的盖密封凸缘56。该周向的盖密封凸缘56典型地在盖46被使用时采用。盖46包括类似的密封凸缘56’,密封凸缘56’与盖密封凸缘56在被接合时一起提供气密密封。在使用隔膜密封件的实施例中,密封凸缘56可以省去,并且隔膜密封件可以密封在位于盖密封凸缘的位置的外侧的周向密封表面57上。
主体40的底表面52还包括喷口接合通道58,喷口接合通道58构造成接合并保持喷口,诸如容器10的喷口14。通常,密封是气密的,并且密封由喷口和通道58中的每一个的弹性变形而产生。通道58由内周凸缘60和外周凸缘62限定,内周凸缘60和外周凸缘62相对于所述开口以及相对于彼此同心地定位。将理解的是,在很多实施例中,内周凸缘60形成开口54的外壁。在其他实施例中,开口的外壁可包括与内周凸缘60和外周凸缘62隔开的(但优选是同心的)单独结构。
开口54在图3和/或图4中示出为包括内表面64以及定位在其下端的隔膜接合凸缘66。内表面64包括凹入的周向通道67、基部通道68以及位于凹入的周向通道67和基部通道68之间的隔膜接合表面。在所示的实施例中,隔膜接合凸缘66是倾斜的,使得凸缘的表面与隔膜接合表面69成锐角。当然,这是示例性的且不应认作是限制性的。另外,向内倾斜的引导壁部63在周向上可以设置在凹入的周向通道上方,以当保持环处于其可操作位置时朝保持环的位置上方的隔膜向内引导探针。类似地,上部的向内倾斜的下引导壁部65朝开口的中心引导隔膜,继而引导探针。已经发现,这种部分65极大地限制了由于探针进入少于理想位置时造成的对隔膜的损坏。
密封隔膜42在图3和/或图4中示出为包括主体接合凸缘70、侧壁72以及可刺穿表面74。主体接合凸缘70包括具有外表面75、基表面76和环表面77的基本三角形截面的构形,侧壁72源自靠近基表面76和环表面77相交处的区域,并沿向下的方向延伸离开主体40的顶表面50。可刺穿表面74跨越所述开口延伸,从而与所述开口的尺寸基本相仿。可刺穿表面基本垂直于侧壁,并起到通过主体40的开口54来提供选择性出口的作用。
在所示的实施例中,可刺穿表面包括硅酮材料,该硅酮材料是柔性的并且包括预定数量的贯穿其延伸的狭缝。所述狭缝构造成使得当探针或管延伸穿过开口并穿过可刺穿表面时,狭缝的接合表面密封地接合抵靠在探针或管的外侧上。一旦被移除,狭缝便彼此重新接合,以形成密封件并排除流体穿过开口通过。在某些实施例中,可刺穿表面可包括多个特别定位和构造的狭缝,这些狭缝彼此相互作用。在其他实施例中,狭缝包括多个部分切割的狭缝,然后在探针或管首次插入后,这些部分切割的狭缝然后被撕开或“完成”(即,有刻痕的狭缝,或部分形成的狭缝)。
保持环44包括具有主体接合突出部80、密封隔膜接合表面82以及内壁结构84的箍状结构。突出部80示出为包括绕保持环的外周向外延伸的突起。
突出部80构造成在凹入的通道67内可插入并可抑制。在突出部插入在通道67内的情况下,密封隔膜42的主体接合凸缘70变为受压,从而形成密封隔膜42的基表面76与开口54的隔膜接合凸缘66之间不透流体的密封。特别地,环压靠在隔膜上,使得其基部表面压靠在隔膜接合凸缘上,并且环表面77接合密封隔膜接合表面82。密封隔膜的天然弹性允许抵靠环和主体而密封接合。典型地,密封隔膜接合表面包括一表面区域,该表面区域与隔膜本身上的相似构造的表面区域接合。接合的表面区域使得能够在其间创建显著的密封。
内壁结构84构造成排除对靠近隔膜与隔膜接合凸缘66的接合处的隔膜的损坏。典型地,与本发明的盖组件相关联的袋在充满时可以具有例如25磅等的重量。这样,当滴落到设计成延伸穿过隔膜的探针型分配器上时,隔膜的损坏被高度关注。已经发现,利用本发明构造的内壁结构84,大大减小了隔膜损坏的可能。内壁结构84包括向内倾斜的保护凸缘86,该保护凸缘86在隔膜的一部分上延伸并径向向内延伸越过隔膜接合凸缘66的向内突起。
在这种构造中,向下突出的探针可能碰撞将朝隔膜向内引导探针的内壁结构84。随着探针被朝隔膜引导,探针与隔膜的接合出现在与隔膜接合凸缘66隔开的点,因此观察到赋予的附加量度。向内倾斜的角度构造成以大约20°至50°的锐角向内倾斜;然而,本发明不限于此。
如在图2中所阐释的,盖附接于喷口。管102延伸穿过开口54。与图1中所示的不同,密封隔膜与主体相结合。

Claims (7)
1.一种盖组件,其包括:
-主体,所述主体具有顶表面和底表面、位于所述主体的底表面上的喷口接合通道以及延伸穿过所述主体的开口,所述开口包括凹入的周向通道和靠近所述凹入的周向通道定位的隔膜接合凸缘;
-密封隔膜,所述密封隔膜覆盖所述开口并包括主体接合凸缘和可刺穿表面,所述密封隔膜定位在所述隔膜接合凸缘上,使得所述主体接合凸缘和所述隔膜接合凸缘处于覆盖接合的状态;以及
-保持环,所述保持环包括突出部、密封隔膜接合表面以及与所述密封隔膜接合表面相对的内壁结构,所述保持环定位成使得所述密封隔膜接合表面与所述密封隔膜处于覆盖接合的状态,由此,所述突出部到所述主体的所述凹入的周向通道中的延伸可释放地保持所述覆盖接合的状态,并将所述保持环偏压抵靠在所述隔膜上,并且其中所述保持环的所述内壁结构径向向内延伸越过所述密封隔膜的所述隔膜接合凸缘。
2.如权利要求1所述的盖组件,其中,所述盖组件还包括可移除地联接于所述主体的盖,所述盖在所述盖组件与袋可操作地接合时排除通向所述开口和所述密封隔膜。
