Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种配备有计量器的塑料燃料储箱、并且涉及一种用于制造这种储箱的方法。
不同种类车辆上的车载燃料储箱总体上必须满足与设计其的用途类型相关的密封及渗透标准以及它们必须符合的环境要求。在欧洲以及世界各地,我们目前正感受到与限制污染物排放到大气及环境中相关的这些要求的相当紧迫性。
为了限制这些排放,本申请人已经开发了一种由型坯来模制储箱的方法,该型坯包括至少一个槽,该槽是用于在该储箱的实际模制过程中向其中引入(并且在其上固定)多个附件(或附件的支撑件)、并因此避免钻出开口(参见例如申请EP 1 110 697)。
本申请人还已经开发了一种用于对附件(或附件的支撑件)进行这种固定的具体方法(原位铆钉冲孔,是申请WO 2006/008308的主题,为此目的将该申请的内容通过引用而引入本发明中)。
在该附件是由燃料泵(称为“主进料泵”并且向车辆的发动机供给燃料)组成的这种具体情况下,所讨论的支撑件实际上是由被称为“涡流罐”的物体组成,该涡流罐使得有可能为车辆转弯、在斜坡上行驶等情况或者在暴露出泵抽吸点风险(不再浸入燃料中)的任何其他情况下构造一种燃料储备。燃料储箱的涡流罐常用作一个计量器的支撑件,该计量器使得有可能测量储箱中燃料的高度。一般,这种计量器由位于一个臂(金属杆)的一端处的一个浮动件组成,该臂被固定在该涡流罐的、或者一个整合到该涡流罐中的计量器支撑件的一个点上并且围绕该点枢转。这个臂总体上包括一个传导部分,该传导部分的位置通过一个专用传感器来检测,因此使得有可能得知该臂的位置、并因此得知该浮动件的位置、并且进而得知储箱中燃料的高度。
在计量器的一个臂固定到一个计量器支撑件的情况下,这个计量器支撑件总体上由配备有两个末端的一个注塑模制的塑料部件组成,其一端被固定到涡流罐上而另一端是自由的。该计量器支撑件一般具有尺寸公差,这归因于(除其他之外)当它冷却时的材料收缩。因此该计量器臂的位置、以及因此该浮动件的位置可以随该计量器支撑件的自由端的位置而变化,这样使得对储箱中燃料高度的测量取决于计量器支撑件的自由端的位置公差。
本发明的目的在于解决这个问题并且提供一种燃料储箱(用于制造它的方法),该燃料储箱具有计量器臂位置公差的有限影响、并且因此具有储箱中燃料高度测量的改进的准确性。
为这个目的,本发明涉及一种塑料燃料储箱,该储箱包括一个壁、一个计量器、包括一个柔性部分的一个涡流罐、包括一个壳体的一个计量器座、以及支承该计量器并且配备有2个末端的一个支撑件,该涡流罐和该计量器被固定到储箱壁上,并且计量器支撑件被定位成使得该支撑件的一端与计量器座的壳体协作并且使另一端与该涡流罐的柔性部分处于强制接触中。
本发明还涉及一种用于制造这样一种塑料燃料储箱的方法,是通过借助包括两个空腔和一个内芯的一种模具来模制一种被切割成两片的管状型坯,所述方法包括下列步骤:
1.将该型坯引入这些模具空腔中;
2.将该内芯引入该型坯内部,所述内芯已经首先被装配有该涡流罐并且被装配有包括一个壳体的一个计量器座;
3.将该模具关闭,这样使得这些空腔与该内芯产生密封的接触;
4.通过经该内芯吹气和/或在这些空腔之后施加真空,将该型坯压靠在这些空腔上;
5.使用一个牢固地附连到该内芯上的装置,将该涡流罐以及该计量器座紧固到该型坯上;
6.打开该模具以便抽出该内芯;
7.通过吹气模制(通过向该型坯内部注入一种加压的流体)和/或热成形(通过在这些空腔之后施加真空)来进行该型坯的最终模制;
8.将该储箱脱模。
根据一个第一实施方案,所述方法包括以下附加步骤:

10.将支承该计量器并且配备有2个末端的该支撑件穿过该开口引入到该储箱中,并且将该计量器支撑件定位,使得该支撑件的一端与该计量器座的壳体协作并且使得另一端与该柔性部分处于强制接触中。
根据本发明方法的另一个实施方案,在步骤5的过程中将所述涡流罐以及计量器座固定到该型坯上之前,该计量器支撑件已经被安装在涡流罐与计量器座之间。
由于对燃料的机械耐受性及几何刚性,上面提及的这些物体(具体是该涡流罐以及该计量器支撑件)优选是基于聚缩醛、并且特别是基于POM(聚甲醛);它们也可以(但考虑到这些部件的尺寸,较不常见地)是基于PPS(聚苯硫醚)(其优点为非常坚硬)或者基于PBT(但是后者与醇类燃料不兼容)的。
如在上面提及的,这些燃料储箱的涡流罐常见地(直接地、或者通过使用一种如本发明的中间计量器支撑件而间接地)用作一个计量器的支撑件,该计量器使得有可能在整个储箱中或者在这个储箱的一个袋穴中测量燃料高度。总体上,这个计量器由位于一个臂(金属杆)的一端处的一个浮动件组成。在本发明的框架内,该臂的另一端被固定到该计量器支撑件上、在与计量器座壳体协作的末端处,这保证了它的一个固定的位置。总体上,这个臂在一个竖直的平面中枢转。
根据本发明,该涡流罐以及该计量器座是在该型坯实际模制形成该储箱的过程中被固定到该型坯上、在与该壁隔开一段距离的位置上,这样使得该计量器支撑件可以根据本发明被定位在该涡流罐与该计量器座之间。这种固定可以按任何已知的方式进行。优选地,该涡流罐以及该计量器座的固定点中的至少一个配备有一个能够进行铆钉冲孔(冶金领域中的一种常见技术,在于由一种熔融材料来在原位模制一个铆钉,使熔融材料流动穿过待固定的零件的孔口并且将其留在其中以固化)的孔口。
至于该涡流罐,该铆钉冲孔的孔口优选是在一个与该涡流罐模制成一体的或者附连到其上的紧固接片中制成的。它可以是该附件的一个简单部分(作为它的整个包层的一部分),该附件配备有至少一个孔口或者配备有一个相对于其配备有孔口的整个包层而言的突出部分。
这个紧固接片可以具有任何行状:配备有一个或多个孔口的舌形件;围绕该附件并且包括若干孔口的凸缘,等等。
优选地,该涡流罐装备有几个紧固接片,如果有可能则使这些紧固接片均等地分布在后者上。最特别优选地是,每个紧固接片包括几个孔口,从而在一个机械应力过程中(例如,简单地由重力施加)对负载进行分布。
在本发明的背景之内,尽管该涡流罐被紧固到储箱的壁上,但优选的是它可以相对于它在该储箱壁上的至少一个紧固点而移动。这种活动性可以通过不同方式来获得。在该附件包括至少一个紧固接片的情况下,足以确保这是处于一种柔性舌形件的形式,该柔性舌形件即是具有一个厚度、一个形状和/或一种构成材料的扁平(但是它可以被弯曲、折叠、等等)部件,该厚度、形状和/或构成材料在该附件被紧固到该储箱壁上时给予了附件相对于储箱壁一种相对移动。
根据本发明的这个变体的这些紧固接片优选地是基于一种耐热材料,以防止这些紧固接片的扩大变形。诸如POM(聚甲醛)、PA(聚酰胺)、PBT(聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯)以及金属的材料是特别适合的。HDPE不太被推荐,因为它在使用温度下会变形,至少是对于一般考虑的(2mm至3mm)的厚度。
更特别优选地,每个紧固接片配备有一个圆形的孔口,该孔口优选地基本上位于它紧固到该储箱上的区域(即在该铆钉冲孔过程中与该型坯接触的区域)的中心处,并且这个圆形孔口优选地被几个(2、3、4或更多)槽缝围绕,这些槽缝优选地均等地分布在围绕该中心孔口的一个圆周上,其目的是增加这种紧固的承载强度(该部件通过其重量而作用在该铆钉冲孔区域内仍熔融的塑料上)。总体上讲,该接片的紧固区域位于这个接片的一个弯曲的(折叠的)末端处。
根据本发明的一个特别优选的变体,该涡流罐是在正被模制的同时被固定到该储箱壁上,但是具有足够的移动性使得能够补偿模制后的收缩,该收缩对于HDPE储箱而言是大约3%。
因此优选地,该涡流罐借助3个铆钉被固定到该储箱的壁上,其中一个铆钉在一个刚性接片中制成并且构成了一种“固定的”紧固,并且另2个在柔性的接片中制成,从而使得该涡流罐相对于该储箱壁上的这2个对应的固定点是可移动的。最特别优选地,这两个柔性接片允许该附件在两个垂直的方向上移动、并且还允许通过该紧固工具来握持该涡流罐,同时吸收了几何的制造公差用于模制该涡流罐。
至于该计量器座,它总体上由一个不同于该涡流罐的塑料部件组成。所述部件总体上是注塑模制的。该计量器座优选地配备有在该计量器座的一个刚性部分中制成的至少一个铆钉冲孔的孔口。替代地,该计量器座可以被焊接到该储箱壁上。总体上,这个部件具有足够小的尺寸,使得它可以被固定到该储箱的一个固定位置上,从而确保储箱中燃料高度的测量不依赖于任何位置公差。因此,所述部件总体上可以只通过一个铆钉/焊点而被固定到该储箱壁上。
根据本发明,该计量器座包括一个能够与该计量器支撑件的一端进行协作的壳体。这个壳体优选地包括至少一个柔性部分以及一个刚性部分,这些部分能够一起产生一种夹紧作用,使得当该计量器支撑件的一端已被引入该壳体之中并且与该柔性部分和刚性部分协作时,所述端以压缩的形式被保持在这2个柔性与刚性部分之间。
更优选地,该计量器座的该壳体还包括基本上与上一段中说明的该柔性部分和该刚性部分正交地定向的多个刚性部分,这样当该支撑件的末端已经被引入该计量器座的壳体之后,该座的这些刚性部分阻止了该计量器支撑件的末端在与该支撑件的末端以压缩形式被保持的方向大致正交的方向上的任何移动。
在一个使得该座更易于通过注塑模制来制造的实施方案中,该座的壳体基本上是刚性的,即只包括刚性部分而没有柔性部分。当模制该储箱的过程中该涡流罐、该座以及该计量器支撑件在被固定到该型坯之前被预组装,那么这个实施方案更容易实施。根据本发明,该涡流罐包括一个柔性部分,该柔性部分或者与该涡流罐作为一个单件制成(例如这种柔性是由一个减小的厚度和/或一种具体的几何形状)、或者是处于一种附连部件(该部件可以是例如由金属制成的)的形式。这个柔性部分总体上由一个在制造该涡流罐时生产的注塑模制部件组成、并且构成了一个朝向该涡流罐外部的突起。这个部分在压缩应力的作用下是柔性的、并且能够在与该压缩应力相反的方向上产生一种弹簧效应。该柔性部分总体上具有任何形状,具体地它具有一种条带形状。在本发明的一个优选的实施方案中,将该计量器支撑件安装到该涡流罐与该座之间后,可以使用一个额外的固定部件(例如,具有调整过的形状的夹子;)来防止该支撑件从该涡流罐以及该座上得以脱离接合,例如在该储箱经受震动的情况下。
在本发明的背景下,该计量器座、该计量器支撑件以及该涡流罐被固定到该储箱的壁上,使得该支撑件不能在该柔性部分与该计量器座之间进行平移移动、也不能围绕该支撑件的纵向轴线或围绕与该纵向轴线正交的一条轴线进行转动。
术语“燃料储箱”应理解为是指一种能够在不同的以及变化的使用和环境条件下储存燃料的密封的储箱(或一个由壁界定的空心体)。这种储箱的一个实例是机动车辆装配的储箱。
根据本发明的燃料箱由一种塑料制成。
术语“塑料”是指包括至少一种合成树酯聚合物的任何材料。
任何类型的塑料都可能是适合的。特别适合的塑料属于热塑性塑料的类别。
具体地讲,有可能使用聚烯烃、热塑性聚脂、聚酮、聚酰胺以及它们的共聚物。还可以使用聚合物或共聚物的共混物;类似地还有可能使用带有无机的、有机的和/或天然填充剂的聚合物材料的共混物,这些填充剂例如但不限于:碳、盐和其它无机衍生物,以及天然的或者聚合的纤维。
经常使用的一种聚合物是聚乙烯。用高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)已经获得了优异的结果。
该储箱的壁可以由一个单一热塑层、或两个层组成。有利地,一个或多个其他可能的附加层可以包括多个由一种对于液体和/或气体而言是障碍体的材料制成的层。优选地,对该阻挡层的性质和厚度进行选择从而使得与该储箱内表面接触的液体和气体的渗透性最小化。该层优选是基于一种阻挡树脂,就是说基于一种不可渗透燃料的树脂,例如像EVOH(部分水解的乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯的共聚物)。可替代地,该储箱可以经受一种表面处理(氟化作用或磺化作用),其目的是使该储箱不可渗透燃料。
根据本发明的储箱优选包括一个位于这些基于HDPE的外层之间的基于EVOH的阻挡层。
根据本发明,该储箱是通过将一个由两个片组成的型坯吹气模制或热成型而模制成的,这两个片是通过将一个并且是与上述申请EP 1 110 697中说明的相同的挤出的管状型坯进行切割而产生的,为此目的将该申请的内容通过引用结合到本申请中。
通过与对两个分开挤出的片(其厚度是恒定的)的模制相比较,这种方法使之有可能使用具有变化的厚度的型坯(也就是说其中厚度沿其长度不是恒定的),这些型坯是使用一种适当的挤出装置(一般是装备有一个模具以及一个心轴的挤出机,该心轴的位置是可调整的)获得的。这样一种型坯考虑到了由于该材料在模具中的非恒定变形程度而于模制过程中在该型坯的某些点上发生的厚度减少。
不论使用哪种技术来模制该型坯,按定义它涉及一种模具的使用,该模具包括两个空腔,这些空腔旨在与该型坯的外表面相接触,该型坯的热成形或吹气模制是在这些空腔后面施加一个真空和/或通过使用注入型坯内部的增压气体来将该型坯压靠在这些空腔上而发生。
根据本发明,该模具优选地包括一个内芯,该内芯结合了用于固定该涡流罐以及该计量器座的这个工具的至少一部分。术语“内芯”应理解为是指具有适当的形状和尺寸而能够被插在这些模具空腔之间并且特别地在该型坯被模制时能够被引入其中的一个部件。这样一个部件已经在例如专利GB 1 410215中进行了说明,为此目的将该专利的内容引入到本申请中用于参考。有利地,这个内芯可以用于同时将几个附件紧固到型坯上,这是替代的装置(例如如机械手臂)通常不能完成的事情。在这个变体中,该附件被紧固到储箱的内壁上并且该凹形起伏是指向这个储箱的内部。
该内芯还可以用于引入吹气模制该型坯所需要的加压气体。此外,当有待被吹制的型坯包括两个部分时,至少在该过程的某些步骤(总体上:在将两个部分焊接在一起以制造该储箱之前的这些步骤)的过程中,该内芯还可以用于保持这两个部分的边缘是热的。两部分式型坯非常适用于这个变体,因为它们可以在打开该模具时被分开并因此使之更容易紧固该管道。
最后,该内芯还可以至少部分地用于过程控制。为此目的,例如有可能将一个摄像头结合到该内芯中以便于显示和检查如此前说明的紧固该附件的质量。这个摄像头还可以检查紧固(连接)该加注管(以及该储箱的所有其他可能的部件)的质量。总体上,这些检查通过图像分析来进行。用于测量一个或多个量值(如力、冲程、压力、温度)的一个或多个传感器也可以安装到该内芯上,以便更好地监测这些附件的紧固。
在根据本发明的一个实施方案的方法过程中,在该储箱已经脱模之后,在该储箱的一个壁上制造了一个切口,以便获得一个尺寸足够的开口从而使得能够将多个附件引入到该储箱内部。优选的是,该开口具有一个基本上圆形的截面。具体地,该开口构成了能够允许引入燃料进料泵的一个阻塞件开口。
在根据本发明的这个实施方案的方法中,之后将一个计量器支撑件穿过该开口引入到储箱中,并且将该计量器支撑件定位为使得该支撑件的一端与该计量器座的壳体协作、并且使得另一端与该涡流罐的柔性部分相接触。按照这种方式,该计量器支撑件通过该条带所产生的弹簧效应并且如以上所说明的以压缩形式被保持在该计量器座与该柔性条带之间。
如上面所解释的,根据本发明的另一个实施方案,在模制该储箱的过程中将该计量器支撑件固定到该型坯上之前,该计量器支撑件已经被安装在该涡流罐与该计量器座之间。在这个实施方案中,该涡流罐上的柔性部分允许在该储箱于脱模前冷却下来的同时对该储箱的收缩负责。
图1中展示了一种根据现有技术的配备有一个涡流罐以及一个高度计量器的燃料储箱。

图1中展示的储箱包括一个壁(7),其上固定有一个涡流罐(1),该涡流罐使得有可能形成一个燃料储箱并且对一台泵(未展示)起到一个支撑件的作用。该涡流罐(1)借助多个紧固接片(由10示意图地展示)通过铆钉冲孔而固定到壁(7)上。这样一种紧固机构使得有可能对该储箱在其模制后冷却过程中的收缩进行补偿(即,为了确保该涡流罐(1)保持固定在其上而不在壁(7)中产生张力)同时保证涡流罐(1)在储箱中的一个固定的位置。一个计量器臂支撑件(2)被固定到涡流罐(1)上、并且配备有计量器臂(6)的一个自由端,该计量器臂可以围绕一个用于将该臂(6)固定到计量器支撑件(2)上的点进行转动。计量器臂(6)包括一个能够追踪该储箱中的燃料高度的浮动件(3)。在例如由材料收缩产生的变形的影响下,支撑件(2)的自由端的位置可能会变化,使得用于将计量器臂(6)固定到支撑件(2)上的点的位置以及浮动件(3)的位置不能得到保证。
图2展示了一种根据本发明的储箱,该储箱包括一个计量器座(4)和一个涡流罐(1)。这两个部件已经通过铆钉冲孔而固定到储箱的壁上。该储箱额外地包括一个配备有两个末端的计量器臂支撑件(2),其一端(自由末端)被固定到计量器座(4)上,这样使得它在除了沿支撑件(2)的纵向轴线平移之外的其他所有方向上都是分度的,并且另一端与一个金属条带型的柔性部件(5)相接触,该柔性部件被固定到涡流罐(1)上。条带(5)在支撑件(2)的末端上施加一个力,使得后者在该条带(5)与计量器座(4)之间的平移被阻止。
图3代表如图2所展示的一种装备有涡流罐及计量器座的储箱的一个优选变体的截面图。该储箱包括一个阻塞件开口(8),计量器臂支撑件(2)已经穿过该开口被引入到储箱中。之后支撑件(2)已被放置在计量器座(4)与柔性部件(5)之间。
柔性部件(5)的一个变体展示在图3a中,并且该部件由整合到涡流罐(1)中并且在制造后者时制造的一个注塑模制的部件组成。这个部件(5)包括一个在力作用下是柔性的部分,使得当该计量器臂被放入储箱中时,这个计量器臂的一端与部件(5)的该柔性部分产生接触、并且在这个部件上施加一个力,这样使得该柔性部分起到一个弹簧的作用并且阻止该计量器支撑件的平移。
图3b代表图3中展示的变体的计量器座(4)的一个截面图。支撑件(2)的一端已被引入在计量器座(4)中制成的一个壳体中。这是由例如通过铆钉冲孔而固定到储箱壁(7)上的一个注塑模制部件组成的。座(4)包括了阻挡支撑件(2)并且防止后者在图3中截面AA的平面上的任何移动的多个成型部分(4’)。
图4a至图4e代表了用于将支撑件(2)穿过阻塞件开口(8)引入储箱之中并且用于将支撑件(2)放置在计量器座(4)与柔性部件(5)之间的这个过程的连续步骤。
支撑件(2)通过柔性部件(5)所产生的弹簧效应而以压缩形式被保持在计量器座(4)与柔性部件(5)之间的。按照这种方式,支撑件(2)的任何变形(例如在材料收缩的作用下)都不会致使该支撑件的位移能够改变用于将计量器臂(6)固定到支撑件(2)上的这个点的位置。
Claims (10)
1.塑料燃料储箱,包括:一个壁、一个计量器、包括一个柔性部分的一个涡流罐、包括一个壳体的一个计量器座、以及支承该计量器并且配备有2个末端的一个支撑件,该涡流罐以及该计量器被固定到储箱壁上,并且该计量器支撑件被定位成使得该支撑件的一端与计量器座的壳体协作并且使得另一端与该涡流罐的柔性部分处于强制接触中。
2.根据前一权利要求所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中该计量器由位于一个臂的一端处的一个浮动件组成,该臂的另一端被固定到该计量器支撑件上、在与该计量器座的壳体协作的末端处。
3.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中该计量器座是一个注塑模制的塑料部件,该部件通过一个圆头铆接点或者一个焊接点被固定在该储箱壁上的一个固定的位置处。
4.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中该计量器座壳体包括至少一个柔性部分以及一个刚性部分,这些部分能够一起产生一种夹紧作用,这样使得当该计量器支撑件的一端已被引入该壳体之中并且与该柔性部分以及该刚性部分协作时,所述端以压缩形式被保持在这2个柔性及刚性部分之间。
5.根据前一权利要求所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中该计量器座的壳体包括与该柔性部分和刚性部分基本上正交地定向的多个额外的刚性部分,并且这些额外的刚性部分阻止了该计量器支撑件的末端在与该支撑件的末端以压缩形式被保持的方向大致正交的一个方向上的任何移动。
6.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中该计量器座的壳体基本上是刚性的。
7.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的塑料燃料储箱,其中使用了一个额外的固定部件来防止该支撑件从该涡流罐以及该座上得以脱离接合。
8.用于制造根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的塑料燃料储箱的方法,该方法是通过借助包括两个空腔和一个内芯的一种模具来模制一种被切割成两片的管状型坯,所述方法包括下列步骤:
1).将该型坯引入这些模具空腔中;
2).将该内芯引入该型坯内部,所述内芯首先已经被装配有该涡流罐(1)并且被装配有包括一个壳体的一个计量器座(4);
3).将该模具关闭,这样使得这些空腔与该内芯产生密封的接触;
4).通过经该内芯吹气和/或在这些空腔之后施加真空,将该型坯压靠在这些空腔上;
5).使用一种牢固地附连到该内芯上的装置,将该涡流罐(1)以及该计量器座(4)紧固到该型坯上;
6).打开该模具以便抽出该内芯;
7).通过吹气模制(通过向该型坯内部注入一种加压的流体)和/或热成型(通过在这些空腔之后施加真空)来进行该型坯的最终模制;
8).将该储箱脱模。
9.根据前一权利要求所述的方法,所述方法包括以下附加步骤:
9).在该储箱的一个壁上制成一个切口以便获得一个开口(8);以及
10).将支承该计量器并且配备有2个末端的一个支撑件(2)穿过该开口(8)引入该储箱中,并且将该计量器支撑件(2)定位成使得该支撑件(2)的一端与该计量器座(4)的壳体协作并且使得另一端与该柔性部分(5)相接触。
10.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中在步骤5的过程中将该涡流罐以及该计量器座固定到该型坯上之前,该计量器支撑件已经被安装在所述涡流罐与计量器座之间。
