Detailed Description
An embodiment 1 of the present invention provides a method for an MTC terminal device to access a network, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step 101, an MTC terminal device receives a broadcast message sent by a base station, where the broadcast message includes access control information corresponding to an access control class of the MTC terminal device, where the access control class of the MTC terminal device is different from access control classes of other types of terminal devices in a network, or the access control class of the MTC terminal device is equal to the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, and the broadcast message also includes an indication parameter to identify a type of the MTC terminal device in the access control class and other types of terminal devices in the network;
and step 102, the MTC terminal device determines whether it can access the network according to the access control information.
In the embodiment of the invention, the MTC terminal device is a machine type communication terminal, such as an electricity meter or a gas meter in a remote meter reading system in the power industry. Other types of terminal equipment may include mobile communication terminals, such as cell phones and the like.
All MTC terminal devices may use one or several access control classes, and the access control class is different from the access control classes of other types of terminal devices. For example, the terminal devices in the network include MTC terminal devices and mobile phones, the access control class in the network may be 0 to 9, and one or several of the access control classes may be specified as being dedicated to the MTC terminal devices; for example, the access control classes 0 to 7 and 9 are randomly used by the mobile phone, and all MTC terminal devices may share the access control class 8; or the access control grades 0-6 and 9 can be randomly used by the mobile phone, one part of MTC terminal equipment is commonly accessed to the control grade 7, and the other part of MTC terminal equipment is commonly accessed to the control grade 8; or the MTC terminal equipment can share a newly added value, the mobile phone uses the access control level 0-9, and the MTC terminal equipment shares a newly added access control level 16.
All MTC terminal devices may also share an access control class with an existing terminal device, in which case the existing access control class needs to be extended, and a new indication parameter is introduced into the access control class to respectively indicate different terminal device types in the network under the access control class. For example, the terminal devices in the network include MTC terminal devices and handsets, the access control level in the network may be 0-9, and for the access control level 8, for example, where the indication parameter bit is 1 may indicate a handset terminal, and the indication parameter bit is 0 may indicate an MTC device terminal.
In the embodiment of the invention, different access control grades can be allocated to the MTC terminal equipment of different types according to the type of the MTC terminal equipment; for example, all non-moving MTC terminal devices may be classified into a low mobility device class, MTC terminal devices with a small data volume may be classified into a low data volume class, MTC terminal devices for household gas meter reading may be classified into a class, and so on; different MTC terminal equipment types correspond to different access control levels.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the access control information refers to information that the MTC terminal device determines whether it can access the network. The access control information may include one or a combination of the following: information of allowed or forbidden access to the network, the scaling parameters and the originating behavior. Wherein,
the information of the allowed access network or the forbidden access network can be represented by any identifier, such as a boolean-type numerical representation or an enumerated-type numerical representation. For example, when a boolean variable is used, a "1" may be used to identify allowed access networks and a "0" may be used to identify forbidden access networks, or vice versa. When numerical values of the enumerated type are employed, the allowed or prohibited values may be used directly for identification. Thus, when the access control information corresponding to the access control level of the MTC terminal equipment received by the MTC terminal equipment is '1', the MTC terminal equipment can be determined to be capable of accessing the network; when the MTC terminal equipment receives that the access control information corresponding to the access control level of the MTC terminal equipment is '0', the MTC terminal equipment can be determined not to be accessed to a network.
The ratio parameter may indicate that a certain ratio of terminal device accesses are allowed or forbidden, and the ratio parameter may be determined by factors such as base station load, and in addition, in order to further determine the ratio parameter, the base station may further refer to load information of the current network, and specifically may be determined according to load information of the core network mobility management entity processing the MTC terminal device, and the load information may be transferred between a core network element and a base station interface (e.g. Iu, S1). For example, if the ratio parameter is 0.3, it means that 30% of MTC terminal devices are allowed to access the network, and thus, when the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, the MTC terminal device may determine that the network can be accessed.
When the proportion parameter indicates that 30% of MTC terminal equipment is prohibited from accessing the network. In this way, when the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is less than the scaling parameter, the MTC terminal device may determine that it cannot access the network.
The initiating behavior represents that one or more MTC terminal devices initiating behavior are allowed to access to a network, wherein the initiating behavior can comprise one or a combination of the following information: the method comprises the steps of call starting signaling operation, call starting data operation, call ending signaling operation and call ending data operation. In this way, if the MTC terminal device determines that the behavior of triggering access to the network satisfies the initiation behavior in the broadcast message, it may be determined that the MTC terminal device may access the network.
According to the embodiment, the access control grade different from that of the terminal equipment of other types in the network is allocated to the MTC terminal equipment, so that the MTC terminal equipment can determine whether to be allowed to access the network or not through the received access control information corresponding to the access control grade of the MTC terminal equipment, the access of the MTC terminal equipment can be controlled more flexibly, and the network congestion is reduced.
Embodiment 2 of the present invention provides a method for an MTC terminal device to access a network, which takes access control information as information, a ratio parameter, and an initiation behavior of a network that is allowed to be accessed or prohibited from being accessed as examples. .
When the access control information is information for allowing an access network or prohibiting an access network, as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step 201, an MTC terminal device receives a broadcast message sent by a base station, where the broadcast message includes information of a network allowed to be accessed or a network prohibited to be accessed, where the access control class of the MTC terminal device is different from the access control classes of other types of terminal devices in the network, or the access control class of the MTC terminal device is equal to the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, and further includes an indication parameter to identify the type of the MTC terminal device in the access control class and the other types of terminal devices in the network;
in this embodiment, the access control information may be a boolean value or an enumerated value;
in the following, an example will be described in which the access control information identifies whether to allow or prohibit access by using boolean variables, where "1" identifies an allowed access network and "0" identifies a prohibited access network.
Step 202, the MTC terminal device determines whether the access control information is information for allowing access to a network or information for prohibiting access to a network;
in this embodiment, that is, it is determined whether the access control information is "1" or "0", if the access control information is "1", if the access control information corresponding to the access control level in the broadcast message is "1", step 203 is executed; of course, if step 203 is executed, step 204 is not necessarily executed, that is, the flow may include 201, 202, 203;
or, if the access control information corresponding to the access control level in the broadcast message is "0", then step 204 is executed to end the access control process; of course, if step 204 is executed, step 203 is not necessarily executed, that is, the flow may include 201, 202, and 204.
In step 203, if the access control information included in the broadcast message is "1" in step 202, the MTC terminal device determines that it can access the network.
Step 204, when it is determined in step 202 that the access control information included in the broadcast message is "0", the MTC terminal device determines that the MTC terminal device cannot access the network, and ends the access control procedure.
For example, in a case where all the MTC terminal devices share the access control class 8, when the access control information corresponding to the access control class 8 included in the broadcast message received by the MTC terminal device is 1, the MTC terminal device may determine that it is able to access the network.
For example, in the case that different types of MTC terminal devices use different access control classes, if the MTC terminal device belongs to a low mobility MTC terminal device and the access control class of the low mobility MTC terminal device is 24, the low mobility MTC terminal device may determine that the network can be accessed when the access control information corresponding to the access control class 24 included in the broadcast message received by the low mobility MTC terminal device is 1.
When the access control information is an initiating action, as shown in fig. 3, the method includes:
step 301, an MTC terminal device receives a broadcast message sent by a base station, where the broadcast message includes an initiation behavior corresponding to an access control class, and the access control class of the MTC terminal device is different from access control classes of other types of terminal devices in a network, or the access control class of the MTC terminal device is equal to the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, and further includes an indication parameter to identify a type of the MTC terminal device in the access control class and the other types of terminal devices in the network.
In this embodiment, the access control class of the MTC terminal device is similar to that in embodiment 1, and is not described herein again. The initiating behavior is a network behavior allowing access, and may include one or more of the following operations: the method comprises the steps of starting call signaling operation, starting call data operation, final call signaling operation and final call data operation.
Step 302, the MTC terminal device determines whether the MTC terminal device triggers an access network to perform an initiation behavior included in the broadcast message, and if the MTC terminal device triggers the access network to perform the step 303 if the MTC terminal device triggers the access network to perform the initiation behavior included in the broadcast message; if the behavior of triggering the access network does not satisfy the initiation behavior included in the broadcast message, go to step 304; it is noted that step 304 does not have to be performed if step 303 is performed; and vice versa.
Step 303, in step 302, if the behavior of the MTC terminal device triggering access to the network satisfies the initiation behavior included in the broadcast message, the MTC terminal device determines that the MTC terminal device can access to the network.
Step 304, if the MTC terminal device triggers the access to the network does not satisfy the initiation behavior included in the broadcast message in step 302, the MTC terminal device determines that the MTC terminal device cannot access the network, and ends the access control procedure.
For example, the allowed initiation behavior included in the broadcast message is an origination signaling operation, and if the MTC terminal device determines that the behavior of triggering the access network is the origination signaling operation, that is, the initiation behavior is satisfied, the MTC terminal device may determine that the access network is possible.
When the access control information is a proportional parameter, as shown in fig. 4, the method includes:
step 401, an MTC terminal device receives a broadcast message sent by a base station, where the broadcast message includes a proportional parameter corresponding to an access control class, where the access control class of the MTC terminal device is different from access control classes of other types of terminal devices in a network, or the access control class of the MTC terminal device is equal to the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, and the broadcast message further includes an indication parameter to identify a type of the MTC terminal device in the access control class and other types of terminal devices in the network.
In this embodiment, the access control class of the MTC terminal device is similar to that in embodiment 1, and is not described herein again. The scaling parameter may be any value greater than zero, such as 0.3, 0.5, etc.; the ratio parameter may be expressed as a percentage, for example, 56%, but is not limited thereto, and may be other values, for example, a normalized number, such as 0.56.
In this embodiment, the proportion parameter may represent a proportion of terminal devices that are allowed to access or forbidden to access the network, and the proportion parameter may be generated by the base station with reference to load information of the current network, and specifically may be determined according to load information of the core network mobility management entity processing the MTC terminal devices, where the load information may be transferred between a core network element and an access network element interface (e.g., Iu, S1).
For example, when the base station generates a proportional parameter indicating that a certain proportion of terminal devices are allowed to access, and the load of the current network is relatively large, the base station may set the proportional parameter in the broadcast message to be smaller; when the current network is idle, the base station may set the proportional parameter in the broadcast message to be larger. In this way, after the MTC terminal device receives the ratio parameter, if it is determined that the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, it is determined that the MTC terminal device can access the network.
Or, when the base station generates a proportional parameter indicating that a certain proportion of terminal devices are prohibited from accessing, and the load of the current network is relatively large, the base station may set the proportional parameter in the broadcast message to be larger; when the current network is idle, the base station may set the ratio parameter in the broadcast message to be smaller. Thus, after the MTC terminal device receives the ratio parameter, if it is determined that the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, it is determined that the MTC terminal device cannot access the network. For example, the received ratio parameter is 0.56, the generated random number is 0.3, and since the random number 0.3 is smaller than the ratio parameter 0.56, the MTC terminal device determines that it cannot access.
The following description will be given taking as an example a case where the scale parameter indicates the scale of the terminal device permitted to access the network.
Step 402, the MTC terminal device determines whether the generated random number is smaller than the proportional parameter corresponding to the access control class, if the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the proportional parameter corresponding to the access control class, step 403 is executed, and if the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is greater than or equal to the proportional parameter corresponding to the access control class, step 404 is executed. It is noted that step 404 does not have to be performed if step 403 is performed; and vice versa.
In this step, the MTC terminal device may generate the random number in any existing manner, for example, the generated random number is 0.23.
Step 403, when it is determined in step 402 that the generated random number is smaller than the proportional parameter corresponding to the access control class, the MTC terminal device determines that it can access the network.
Step 404, when it is determined in step 402 that the generated random number is greater than or equal to the proportional parameter corresponding to the access control class, the MTC terminal device determines that the MTC terminal device cannot access the network, and ends the access control procedure.
For example, the received ratio parameter is 0.56, the generated random number is 0.3, and since the random number 0.3 is smaller than the ratio parameter 0.56, the MTC terminal device determines that it can access.
As can be seen from the foregoing embodiments, the MTC terminal device may determine whether it is able to access the network according to the access control information included in the broadcast message.
In addition, the broadcast message may further include a random access parameter in addition to the access control information, and after determining that the MTC terminal device can access the network in steps 203, 303, and 403, the MTC terminal device may further determine a random access resource according to the random access parameter in the broadcast message, or according to the random access parameter and the identifier of the MTC terminal device, so as to initiate a random access procedure according to the random access resource.
In this embodiment, the random access resource may be a radio subframe and a subcarrier, but is not limited thereto, and may also be other access resources.
For example, when the MTC terminal device determines the random access resource according to the random access parameter, if the random access parameter is 10, it is determined that the MTC terminal device uses the 10 th subframe and the 10 th subcarrier on the subframe to perform access.
For example, when the MTC terminal device determines the random access resource according to the random access parameter in the broadcast message and the identifier of the MTC terminal device, if the random access parameter is 0.01 and the identifier of the MTC terminal device is 100, the two values may be multiplied to obtain a value 1, and it may be determined that the MTC terminal device uses the 1 st subframe and the 1 st subcarrier on the subframe to perform access. But not limited to this, the random access resource may also be determined after performing a modulo operation and an exclusive or operation according to the actual situation.
According to the embodiment, whether the MTC terminal equipment is allowed to access the network is determined by receiving the access control information corresponding to the access control level of the MTC terminal equipment, which is different from the access control levels of other types of terminal equipment, so that the access of the MTC terminal equipment can be flexibly controlled, and the network congestion is reduced; in addition, when the network can be accessed, the random access resource can be determined according to the random access parameter in the broadcast message.
In the above embodiment, the description is given by taking as an example that the access control information is information of an allowed access network or a forbidden access network, and the origination behavior and the ratio parameter, respectively. In addition, the access control information may further include any combination of information, initiation behavior, and ratio parameter that allows or prohibits access to the network, as described in embodiment 3, so that the MTC terminal devices may perform determination one by one according to the access control information, further control access of the MTC terminal devices, and reduce network congestion.
Embodiment 3 of the present invention provides a method for an MTC terminal device to access a network. The following description will be made with reference to fig. 5, taking as an example that the access control information includes information of an allowed access network or a forbidden access network, an origination behavior, and a scale parameter. The order of the determination is not limited to any order, and the following description will take the sequential determination according to the order of the information, the initiation behavior, and the ratio parameter of the allowed access network or the forbidden access network as an example.
As shown in fig. 5, the method includes:
step 501, an MTC terminal device receives a broadcast message sent by a base station, where the broadcast message includes access control information corresponding to an access control class, where the access control information includes information allowing to access a network or information prohibiting to access the network, an initiation behavior, and a proportion parameter, the access control class of the MTC terminal device is different from the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, or the access control class of the MTC terminal device is equal to the access control class of other types of terminal devices in the network, and the MTC terminal device further includes an indication parameter bit to identify the type of the MTC terminal device in the access control class and the other types of terminal devices in the network;
the access control information is as described in embodiments 1 and 2, and is not described herein again.
Step 502, determining whether the information is allowed to access the network or forbidden to access the network; if the information of allowing to access the network, go to step 503; if the information of prohibiting accessing the network, go to step 506; it is noted that step 506 does not have to be performed if step 503 is performed; and vice versa.
The determination of the information for allowing the access to the network or the information for prohibiting the access to the network is described in step 202 of embodiment 2, and is not described herein again.
Step 503, if it is determined in step 502 that the access network is allowed, further determining whether the behavior of the MTC terminal device triggering the access network satisfies the initiating behavior, and if so, executing step 504; otherwise, go to step 506; it is noted that step 506 does not have to be performed if step 504 is performed; and vice versa.
Wherein, determining whether the behavior of triggering the access network by the MTC terminal device satisfies the initiation behavior is described in step 302 of embodiment 2, and details are not described here.
Step 504, in step 503, if it is determined that the MTC terminal device triggers the access network to satisfy the initiation behavior, further determining whether a random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, if so, performing step 505, otherwise, performing step 506; it is noted that step 506 does not have to be performed if step 505 is performed; and vice versa.
Wherein, it is determined whether the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, as described in step 402 of embodiment 2, which is not described herein again.
Step 505, when it is determined in step 504 that the random number generated by the MTC terminal device is smaller than the ratio parameter, it is determined that the MTC terminal device can access the network.
In step 506, in the case that the determination result in steps 502, 503, 504 is forbidden or no, the MTC terminal device may determine that it cannot access the network.
In this way, by broadcasting the information whether to allow access to the network, the origination behavior, and the scale parameter in the broadcast message, the access of the MTC terminal device can be further controlled.
As can be seen from the foregoing embodiments, whether a network can be accessed is determined by receiving access control information corresponding to an access control class of an MTC terminal device different from that of other types of terminal devices; the access of the MTC terminal equipment can be controlled; by adding the information, the initiating behavior and the proportion parameter of whether to allow the access to the network in the broadcast message, the access of the MTC terminal equipment can be further controlled, and the network congestion is reduced.
Embodiment 4 of the present invention provides a method for accessing an MTC terminal device to a network, where in embodiment 3, the broadcast message received by the MTC terminal device may further include a random access parameter, and after the MTC terminal device determines that the MTC terminal device can access the network, the MTC terminal device may further determine a random access resource according to the random access parameter, so as to initiate a random access process on the random access resource.
As shown in fig. 6, the method includes:
