技术领域
本发明一般涉及使用因特网数据传输协议支持广播服务的因特网协议(IP)广播系统,且更具体地,涉及一种在IP广播系统中仅提供用户优选的内容的方法和系统。
背景技术

解决方案

另外,在步骤460,基于由在步骤420传递的临时密钥定义的权利范围,用户400被允许在享用IPTV服务的同时,依靠服务提供商300输入信息到第三显示终端200。
图5说明根据本发明的另一实施例的用于提供IPTV服务的过程。
参考图5,用户400可以移动IPTV服务到第三显示器,如图4说明的,并且也可以变动服务环境来在第三显示终端200上享用它。因此,在图5说明的IPTV服务过程除了图5还包括步骤510、520、530和540以外和图4的过程相同。因此,下面省略对结合图4描述的步骤的重复说明。
参考图5,在服务提供商300处的认证结果被传递到第三显示终端200和无线IPTV终端100之后,在步骤510,服务提供商300向第三显示终端200发送包括适配于用户400的用户环境参数的查看和感受(LFC)包。用户环境参数可以包括例如背景屏幕、铃声、菜单位置、配置信息等。在步骤520,第三显示终端200安装接收的LFC包。替换地,排除步骤510和520,无线IPTV终端100可以在步骤530中直接发送指定的用户环境参数到第三显示终端200。然后,在步骤540中第三显示终端200应用该接收的用户环境参数。如此,用户400可以变动IPTV服务及其服务环境来在第三显示终端200上享用它。
如前述说明显然的,本发明使得用户能够使用包括用户的环境信息的第三显示终端观看用户订阅的IPTV服务。因此,用户可以方便地接收IPTV服务,而不管用户的位置如何,并且服务提供商被提供有用于提供的另一可计费服务。
本发明的上述实施例也能够实现为在计算机可读介质上的计算机可读代码。计算机可读介质是能够存储作为以后可由计算机系统读取的数据的任何数据存储设备。计算机可读记录介质的例子包括但是不限于只读存储器(ROM)、随机访问存储器(RAM)、CD-ROM、磁带、软盘和光数据存储设备以及载波(诸如通过经由有线或无线传输路径的因特网的数据传输)。计算机可读记录介质也能够分布在网络耦合的计算机系统从而以分布方式存储和执行计算机可读代码。同样,用于实施本发明的功能程序、代码和代码段能够容易地由本发明所属的技术领域的程序员理解为在本发明的范围内。
尽管已经参考本发明的某些实施例示出和描述了本发明,但是本领域技术人员将理解:在不背离由所附权利要求及其等价内容限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,这里可以在形式和细节上进行各种改变。

Claims (14)

1.一种用于在因特网广播系统中提供因特网协议电视(IPTV)服务的方法,该方法包括:
通过用户终端向服务提供商发送对广播服务的请求;
通过该用户终端从该服务提供商接收认证密钥;
发送该认证密钥到其中该用户终端的用户没有注册的第三显示终端;
通过该第三显示终端向该服务提供商发送该认证密钥和该第三显示终端的连接信息;
通过该服务提供商认证该第三显示终端;
通过该服务提供商向该第三显示终端发送认证结果;
通过该用户终端向该服务提供商发送用户选择的广播服务信息;
通过该服务提供商向该第三显示终端发送与选择的广播服务信息相关的广播服务数据;以及
通过该第三显示终端显示所发送的广播服务数据。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
通过该服务提供商向该第三显示终端发送用户环境参数,以及
通过该第三显示终端建立所发送的用户环境参数。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中该用户环境参数包括以下的至少一个:背景屏幕、铃声、菜单位置和配置信息。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
通过该用户终端向该第三显示终端发送用户环境参数,以及
通过该第三显示终端建立所发送的用户环境参数。
5.如权利要求4所述的方法,其中该用户环境参数包括以下的至少一个:背景屏幕、铃声、菜单位置和配置信息。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
向该用户终端发送该认证结果。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
通过该第三显示终端向该服务提供商发送与IPTV服务相关的能力信息。
8.一种用于提供因特网协议电视(IPTV)服务的因特网广播系统,包括:
在服务提供商中注册的用户终端,用于与提供IPTV服务的该服务提供商通信并且向该用户终端的用户提供IPTV服务,和
没有在该服务提供商中注册的第三显示终端,用于从该用户终端接收针对该服务提供商的认证密钥,使用该认证密钥与该服务提供商进行认证,从该服务提供商接收与用户请求的IPTV服务关联的数据,并且显示所接收的数据。
9.如权利要求8所述的因特网广播系统,其中该第三显示终端从该服务提供商接收用户环境参数,并且应用所接收的用户环境参数。
10.如权利要求9所述的因特网广播系统,其中该用户环境参数包括以下的至少一个:背景屏幕、铃声、菜单位置和配置信息。
11.如权利要求8所述的因特网广播系统,其中该第三显示终端从该用户终端接收用户环境参数,并且应用所接收的用户环境参数。
12.如权利要求11所述的因特网广播系统,其中该用户环境参数包括以下的至少一个:背景屏幕、铃声、菜单位置和配置信息。
13.如权利要求8所述的因特网广播系统,其中该第三显示终端包括:
显示单元,用于显示与IPTV服务关联的所接收的数据;
设备认证管理单元,用于使用该认证密钥与该服务提供商进行认证;和
IPTV服务终端。
14.如权利要求13所述的因特网广播系统,其中该IPTV服务终端包括:
开放IPTV论坛单元(OIPF)。
