Abstract

Description

电加热楔
本发明涉及一种用于线状地连接塑料带的焊接装置用的电加热楔,具有预热楔和预热楔悬架(

),其中预热楔具有至少一个加热电阻,加热电阻带有加热导体,该加热导体作为导电层材料配合地敷设到陶瓷载体上,并优选受到陶瓷顶层保护。
用于在边缘侧连接塑料带的电加热楔本已公知,其以各种不同的实施方式特别是应用于自动的焊接装置。在搭焊塑料带时,使用加热楔将塑料带的接触面塑化,接下来在压力作用下使其冷却,由此使得塑料带材料配合地连接。已知的预热楔通常由金属制成,因而具有焊接过程所需要的较高的导热能力。它们通常被圆柱形的电热器加热,这些电热器嵌入到加热楔中,以便将加热楔加热到高于塑料带熔化温度的温度。
根据要连接的塑料的种类,经常使用由不同金属例如铝、铜、银或钢构成的加热楔。由铝、铜或银构成的加热楔由于其耐磨性和耐腐蚀性较差,通常在较短的使用期之后就必须替换掉。相比之下,由钢构成的加热楔耐用,但需要较长的加热时间,因而其热量分布明显较差。
由DE 10 2004 051 045 A1已知一种电的加热楔,为了避免前述缺点,这种加热楔由陶瓷材料或者由陶瓷复合材料构成,其中复合材料由陶瓷的基本材料和导热性良好的金属或半金属组成。所公开的加热楔可用于不同的塑料材料。它具有较高的机械强度、较高的耐磨性和较高的耐温度骤变和温度突变性。它对所出现的化学影响还具有较高的耐腐蚀性,并在很大程度上防止均被加热的塑料的残余粘连。
已知的是,由不同材料构成的塑料带具有不同的焊接特性。因此在焊接某些塑料带时,在焊缝边缘处和或在与焊缝邻接的边缘区域处会出现波纹状变形,这种变形会严重地影响焊接好的带的使用能力。为了避免这种问题,由DE 36 40 187 A1已知一种预热楔,其从中间朝向其侧边具有逐渐减小的传热能力。为此,加热楔被分成至少三个紧密邻接的平行于进给方向伸展的区段,这些区段中的中间区段由导热能力高的材料构成,而外部的区段则分别由导热能力低的材料构成,这样就确定了不同温度的温度区,这些温度区横向于加热楔的进给方向并排地布置,它们的温度差主要由所使用的材料决定。两个外部温度区的温度直接与中间温度区的温度耦联。
在恶劣的日常运行中,电加热楔的陶瓷部分相比于金属的实施方式面临断裂危险的程度比较高。因此本发明的目的在于,提出一种电的加热楔,其中陶瓷部分断裂的危险显著地减小,该加热楔的温度优选可变化地调节。
根据本发明,采用一种具有权利要求1的特征的电的加热楔,即可实现该目的。其它有利的设计可由从属权利要求得到。
据此,本发明的电的加热楔具有预热楔悬架,预热楔悬架带有由金属构成的侧向支撑结构,该支撑结构基本上沿着加热电阻的整个长度和/或宽度延伸,并使得加热电阻的陶瓷载体机械地稳固。在此可以根据预热楔的实施方式,将支撑结构布置在预热楔的内部,和/或包绕预热楔的主要部分。概念“预热楔”系指加热楔的在焊接过程中与要焊接的塑料带接触的部分,而焊接悬架系指加热楔的用以将预热楔可拆卸地固定在焊接装置的支架上的部分。
为了确保热量在预热楔中快速而均匀地分布,已表明有益的是,对预热楔直接加热。为此,加热电阻并非如现有技术中那样布置在预热楔悬架中,而是直接布置在预热楔中或上。
为了加热预热楔,使用加热电阻,该加热电阻的加热导体作为导电层敷设在陶瓷载体上,其中加热导体受耐磨的绝缘的顶层保护。在此有利的是,陶瓷的加热电阻沿着预热楔的大部分面积延伸,其中预热楔的主体可以是金属的或陶瓷的。
原则上为此有两种可行的优选的实施方式。其一为,扁平的板状加热部件是公知的,且能占有或制成具有前述结构的任意大小。这种通常的加热部件可以作为加热电阻直接嵌入到预热楔主体的相应设置的扁平的小室中。另一个为,预热楔主体本身可以由电绝缘的陶瓷材料制成并形成陶瓷载体,加热导体作为导电层敷设到该陶瓷载体上。为此,预热楔主体具有与金属相仿的导热能力,其中塑料带并不粘附在预热楔的相应的接触面上。
本发明的电加热楔的支撑结构设计取决于预热楔的实施方式,特别是取决于该加热楔的主要制造材料。在这里,例如可以将用于稳固至少一个加热电阻的陶瓷载体的支撑结构设计成金属外壳,该金属外壳包围预热楔的加热电阻的主要部分,其中金属外壳具有对于预热楔来说常见的楔形。这种楔形的支撑结构可以直接容纳扁平的陶瓷加热部件,或者还容纳楔形的陶瓷加热电阻。导电层在外部敷设到陶瓷主体上,对于具有这种陶瓷主体的预热楔来说,可以将支撑结构设计成一个或多个金属肋或金属板,所述金属肋或金属板横向于进给方向穿过预热楔的陶瓷主体,以便稳固该主体。所述肋或板可以松动地内置在或者固定地嵌入在陶瓷主体的沟道中,且固定地或可拆卸地与预热楔悬架连接。在任何情况下都最好将预热楔可拆卸地固定在预热楔悬架上。这可以通过对预热楔的压紧或夹紧来实现,其中有益的是,预热楔具有侧向突伸的用于固定在预热楔悬架上的凸起。该支撑结构优选由耐腐蚀的金属制成,且优选具有至少一个带有或不带有螺纹的用于固定螺钉的孔。金属肋例如可以呈圆柱形,进而本身可以是固定螺钉。
另外,根据电加热楔的一种优选的实施方式,金属的预热楔悬架的材料是钢或银,和/或加热电阻的导电层的材料是金属、金属合金或导电的陶瓷。在这里,可以采用工业上常见的且本领域技术人员公知的所有方法,将导电层敷设到加热电阻的陶瓷载体上。
在本发明的一种实施方式中,预热楔具有至少两个温度区,这些温度区优选在加热楔的进给方向上,即从加热楔的前边到其后边前后相继地布置。这些温度区也可以横向于加热楔的进给方向,即在加热楔的侧边之间并排地布置。在此,这些温度区紧密地邻接,或者相互间具有一定的间距,其中这些温度区仅在预热楔的中间区域内延伸,或者可以伸展到预热楔的前边和后边,或者伸展至其侧边。
各个温度区的温度可以不同变化地调节。为此,给至少两个温度区要么分别配设多个相互独立作用的加热电阻,要么配设一个共同的加热电阻,该加热电阻具有不同构造的加热区。所配设的加热电阻的加热功率,或所配设的加热电阻加热区的加热功率,优选可相互独立地调节,且优选可控制。为了使得至少一个加热电阻能够独立地作用到这些温度区上,如前所述,该加热电阻被布置在预热楔中,而并非如由现有技术已知的那样布置在预热楔悬架中。本发明的加热楔的预热楔的温度区因而直接地被加热,其中这些温度区分别均匀地延伸经过相应的加热电阻的加热区。已表明,当加热导体直接在外部敷设到预热楔的主体上时,改善了热量从加热电阻的加热导体传递到预热楔的陶瓷主体上,进而传递到要焊接的塑料带上。这样就能快速地加热电的加热楔,以及能有效地控制温度。
在电的加热楔的一种实施方式中,预热楔的加热功率在多个温度区的范围内可独立地调节和/或控制。为此,相应的所配设的加热电阻有利地具有至少一个温度传感器,其作为导电层被敷设在陶瓷载体上。利用相应的温度传感器能测得不同温度区的实际温度。如此测得的温度值可以用于自动地控制预热楔的温度,和/或用于显示。有益的是,加热电阻和温度传感器由一种共同的导电层构成。在这里,优选通过加热电阻的加热导体的印制导线进行温度测量。但也可以通过与加热导体分开的印制导线进行温度测量。
如果由于唯一的只有一个加热导体的加热电阻作用到温度区上而使得本发明的加热楔产生温度变化,则该加热导体必须在相应的温度区的范围内不同地构造。在本发明的电加热楔的一种有利的实施方式中,加热电阻具有至少一个曲折形地延伸的印制导线作为加热导体,所述印制导线的横截面或间距沿着加热电阻的长度不同地构造。在此,所述导线横截面和/或导线间距至少在至少两个温度区的范围内各不相同。在此重要的是,在不同的温度区中,每单位面积的加热功率都不同地规定。如果两个并不相互连接的加热导体以导电层的形式布置在一个共同的载体上,且能相互分开地控制这两个加热导体,则在这种情况下,两个“加热电阻”的导线横截面和/或导线间距可以相同地构造。
下面借助实施例详细地介绍本发明。本发明的其它特征可由附图和实施例说明结合权利要求得到。本发明的各个特征可以单独地或者组合地在本发明的各个不同的实施方式中实现。示意图中示出:

图1示出公知的由金属构成的加热楔1′,其具有预热楔2′和预热楔悬架3′,使用图中未示出的通常的圆柱形电热器给加热楔加热。在现有技术中,预热楔悬架3′具有用于加热电热器的大孔4和用于图中同样未示出的测量用探针的小孔5。另外在预热楔悬架3′上设有用于固定在焊接装置支架上的固定孔6。
图2、3示出本发明的第一种或第二种加热楔1,其基本上具有由图1可知的结构。在此,预热楔2和预热楔悬架3是分开的部分,且可拆卸地相互连接。在所示的两个实施例中,优选由钢和银制成的预热楔悬架3在旁侧具有金属的支撑结构28,这种支撑结构基本上沿着电陶瓷的加热电阻13的整个长度和/或宽度延伸,并机械地稳固该加热电阻。
第一实施例(图2)是一种平板状的支撑结构28,该支撑结构设置在预热楔3的内部,并垂直于加热楔的进给方向在侧边之间延伸。在这里,预热楔2的主体由不导电的陶瓷材料制成,并形成用于加热电阻13的导电层12的载体15,所述导电层在外部敷设到该主体上。在第二实施例(图3)中,支撑结构28包绕预热楔2的主要部分。至少加热电阻13被视为主要部分,该加热电阻为板状,其导电层12敷设到同样陶瓷的载体板15上。为此,被设计成楔形金属外壳且由金属块制成的支撑结构28具有容纳空间,加热电阻13嵌入到该容纳空间中。在这两个实施例中,导电层12优选受陶瓷的顶层保护,顶层在图2、3中未示出。另外在这两种情况下,支撑结构28都由耐腐蚀的金属制成。用于接触加热电阻的电连接线在所有附图中都未示出。采用本领域技术人员常用的方法进行所述接触。
图4以不同的视图4a、4b示出根据图2、3的本发明的加热楔1的第一种固定方式。图5中以其它视图再次示出的预热楔2由陶瓷材料制成,并夹紧地固定在预热楔悬架3上。为此,如由图5a、5b可见,预热楔2具有优选锥形的侧向突出于预热楔2的凸起7,其通过加热楔1的两个楔形的配合件8压靠到预热楔悬架3上。在此,这些配合件8被固定螺钉9固定在预热楔悬架3上。预热楔2的固定结构28一直伸到凸起7上。
图5在图5a、5b中从上面和下面示出图2的预热楔2。如由放大的侧视图5c可见,预热楔2在顶面10和底面11上具有加热电阻13的导电层12,该导电层受图中未示出的顶层保护。预热楔2的陶瓷的主体14形成加热导体16的载体15,该加热导体构造成导电层12的结构。如由图6可见,导电层12在顶面和/或底面10、11的不同区域中被不同地结构化。这些不同结构的区域规定了温度区17、18,其中相应的温度区17或18彼此相对地布置在预热楔2的顶面10和底面11上。每两个温度区17、18都在加热楔1的进给方向上从前边19至后边20相继地布置,并在侧向延伸至预热楔2的侧边21,其中这些温度区的温度是可变的,且可不同地相对调节。在未详细示出的第二实施例中,对板状的加热电阻13的导电层12进行不同的结构化处理,由此以类似的方式规定了温度区17、18,该加热电阻在预热楔2的内部在侧边21之间延伸经过加热楔1的沿进给方向测得的长度的主要区域。
图6示范性地示出导电层12的两种结构。加热电阻13优选在预热楔2的顶面/底面10、11上构造相同,该加热电阻具有曲折形地在侧边21之间延伸的印制导线(Leiterbahnen)22,在图6a所示的实施例中,这些印制导线的横截面和间距沿着加热电阻13的长度各不相同。加热电阻13的第一加热区段23配属于第一温度区17,第二区段24规定了第二温度区18,在该第一加热区段中,印制导线22的宽度大于在第二加热区段中的宽度。另外,这些印制导线22的间距还在加热区段23、24中各不相同。在加热楔1的进给方向上位于前面的温度区17相比于邻接的温度区18具有较低的温度,图中未示出的塑料带因而在温度区17中预先受热,然后在温度区18中熔化。也可以考虑将顶面/底面10、11的导电层12不同地结构化,以便使得不同厚度的塑料带相互连接。图6b示出两个加热导体16,这些加热导体连续地在顶面10和/或底面11上敷设到主体14上。这些加热导体16并不相互连接,因而可分别单独控制或调节。它们形成加热电阻13的加热区段23、24。在所示的两个实施例中,在加热区段23、24内,各有两个温度传感器25设置在曲折形延伸的印制导线22之间。
图7在视图7a、7b中示出本发明的加热楔1的第二种固定方式。但在这里,侧向突伸的凸起7从预热楔2的前边19延伸至后边20。另外,它还具有垂直于凸起7的螺钉孔26,这些螺钉孔在固定结构28中延伸,固定螺钉9延伸穿过这些螺钉孔,利用这些固定螺钉将预热楔2压靠到预热楔悬架3上。
图8在视图8a、8b中示出本发明的加热楔1的第三种固定方式,其中,加热电阻13的构造如上所述,其中使用固定螺钉9将预热楔2固定在预热楔悬架3上,这些固定螺钉垂直于侧边21穿过预热楔2。为此,预热楔2具有横向伸展的沟道27,这些固定螺钉9作为金属的支撑结构28以两个肋的形式在这些沟道中延伸。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于线状地连接塑料带的焊接装置用的电的加热楔(1),具有预热楔(2)和由金属构成的预热楔悬架(3),其中预热楔(2)具有至少一个电的加热电阻(13),加热电阻带有加热导体(16),该加热导体作为导电层(12)材料配合地敷设在陶瓷的载体(15)上,并受到陶瓷的顶层保护,其特征在于,预热楔悬架(3)在旁侧具有由金属构成的支撑结构(28),该支撑结构基本上沿着电的加热电阻(13)的整个长度和/或宽度延伸,并使得加热电阻(13)的载体(15)机械地稳固。
