Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,包括:输入单元;PFC(功率因数校正)单元;输出单元;以及待机单元,其中,待机单元包括待机模块,用于通过连接至输入单元的AC滤波级来输出待机电压;顺序模块,用于顺序地施加输出单元的电能以及控制模块,其连接在待机模块和顺序模块之间并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将从待机模块输出的待机电压输入至顺序模块。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路;并且,更具体地,涉及一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,以在待机模式中中断输入至顺序模块中的待机电压,并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将待机电压输入至顺序模块。
背景技术
总体上,PDP(等离子显示面板)是一种在放电现象中利用彭宁(penning)气体的平板显示器,并且利用窄电极之间产生的放电所导致的发光现象,所述窄电极通过使用具有相对高的压力作为基气体的Ne或He气体等而涂覆有电介质。
PDP需要用于驱动自身的SMPS(开关电源)电路。SMPS电路是模块型电源,用于转换从外界提供的电能以与PDP相匹配,并通过使用半导体开关特性和缓冲效果而对大于商用频率的高频起到调节的作用。具体地,为了保护开关元件并防止在最初施加电力时的异常放电,用于PDP的SMPS电路需要根据特定顺序将电源施加至每个部件。
这种PDP具有的优点在于,与直到目前为止作为显示设备的主要部分的CRT(阴极射线管)相比,可以实现厚度和重量上的降低,并且可以实现高清大屏幕,因而在当前,其与LCD(液晶显示器)一起平分平板显示器领域。
然而,最近,已在全世界积极做出对于节约能源方面的降低待机功耗的努力,并因此需要一种用于降低上述SMPS电路中待机功耗的技术。
发明内容
本发明的目的是为了克服上述问题,因而,本发明的目的是提供一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,其能够通过在待机模式中中断输入至顺序模块中的待机电压,并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将待机电压输入至顺序模块,来降低待机功耗。
根据要实现该目的的本发明的一个方面,提供了一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,包括:输入单元;PFC(功率因数校正)单元;输出单元;以及待机单元,其中,待机单元包括待机模块,用于通过连接至输入单元的AC滤波级来输出待机电压;顺序模块,用于顺序地施加输出单元的电能;以及控制模块,所述控制模块连接在待机模块和顺序模块之间,并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将从待机模块输出的待机电压输入至顺序模块。
根据本发明,控制模块包括:第一开关装置,在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下导通;以及第二开关装置,通过置于待机模块和顺序模块之间而在第一开关装置导通的情况下导通。
根据本发明,第一开关装置和第二装置是晶体管。

尽管可以使用诸如“第一”和“第二”的术语来描述多种部件,但部件并不限于该术语。该术语仅用于将一个部件与其他部件相区别。

下文中,将参照附图详细描述根据本发明的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路的优选实施例。在参考附图的优选实施例的描述中,下文中相同的参考标号表示相同或者相应的元件,并且将省略重复的描述。
图1是示出了根据本发明的一个实施例的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路的框图。此外,图2是示出了根据本发明的一个实施例的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路的顺序上的电能的曲线图。
参考图1和图2,根据本发明的实施例的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路包括:输入单元11、PFC(功率因数校正)单元12、输出单元和待机单元14。
输入单元11可以包括商用线路输入电源(commercial line inputpower)和AC滤波器。AC滤波器可以通过直接连接至商用线路输入终端而接收来自商用线路输入电能的90~270Vrms的输入,并抑制外部产生的高频噪声和内部产生的高频噪声分量。
PFC单元12连接至输入单元11的AC滤波器,并且通过设定或提高通过AC滤波器的90~270Vrms的商用线路输入电源来输出大约370~400VDC的DC电压以避免谐波调整,并通过多个DC/DC转换器提供用于驱动等离子显示面板的各种电源。
此外,用于执行功率因数改进(power factor improvement)的PFC单元12被置于输入单元11的下一级处,并且主要采用具有较高PFC性能的升压拓扑技术(Boost Topology)。
输出单元13可以包括:用于提供较高电压持续驱动电能VS和寻址电能VA的多个DC/DC转换器,以及用于提供多个低电压VM的DC/DC转换器。
此外,将持续驱动电能VS的输出用作持续驱动电能VS,并且同时还被输入作为扫描电压VSCAN和复位电压VSET以及VE。从DC/DC转换器输出的电压被输入到等离子显示面板驱动板,以驱动等离子显示面板。
同时,由单个的MULTI表示多个低电压元件,所述低电压元件通过用于提供低电压VM的DC/DC变换器来接收低电压VM。
参考图2,根据本发明的一个实施例的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路通过待机单元14的顺序模块以图2中所示的顺序施加电能,其原因如下。
通常,由于用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路的特征在于高电压和低电流,其较大程度上受到开关损耗而非传导损耗的影响。
此外,在等离子显示面板的情况下,由于根据发光原理在放电中存在非常高的冲击电流(surge current),在持续电压和寻址电压的情况下,应将多个大电容器并联加入到电源及驱动板,并且由于等离子显示面板的驱动模块在快速地开关各电极所需的电能之后将电能提供至许多电极,等离子显示面板主要包括使用半导体的开关元件。
因此,应当按照图2中示出的顺序施加电能,从而保护开关元件并防止在最初施加电能时产生异常放电。
因此,按照低电压系统(信号处理和驱动Vcc)、寻址系统Va、持续系统Vs的顺序施加电能,并通常按照相反顺序削除电能。
同时,待机单元14可以包括待机模块、顺序模块以及控制模块140。
待机模块可以通过连接至输入单元11的AC滤波器级来输出待机电压。顺序模块顺序地施加输出单元13的电能,并且控制模块140被连接在待机模块和顺序模块之间,并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将从待机模块输出的待机电压输入至顺序模块。
控制块140可以包括在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下导通的第一开关装置141以及通过将第一开关装置置于待机模块和顺序模块之间而在第一开关装置141导通的情况下导通的第二开关装置142。
优选地,第一开关装置和第二开关装置可以是晶体管。
通常,由于即使在待机模式(其中,仅从待机单元14的待机模块中输出待机电压)中待机电压被输入至顺序模块,故在顺序模块内部,电阻器、晶体管、比较器等均导致了不必要的功耗。
然而,根据本发明的一个实施例的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路具有的优点在于与传统开关电源电路相比,通过在待机模式中中断输入至顺序模块的待机电压并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将待机电压输入至顺序模块,可以降低待机功耗。
如上所述,本发明通过在待机模式中中断输入至顺序模块中的待机电压并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将待机电压输入至顺序模块,从而与传统开关模式电源电路相比可以降低待机功耗。
如上所述,尽管已经示出并描述了本发明的优选实施例,但是本领域的技术人员应该理解,在不背离本发明总体概念的原理和精神的情况下,可以对这些实施例做出替换、修改以及改变,本发明的范围由所附权利要求及其等效物限定。
Claims (3)
1.一种用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,包括:
输入单元;
PFC(功率因数校正)单元;
输出单元;以及
待机单元,
其中,所述待机单元包括:
待机模块,用于通过连接至所述输入单元的AC滤波器级来输出待机电压;
顺序模块,用于顺序地施加所述输出单元的电能;以及
控制模块,所述控制模块连接在所述待机模块和所述顺序模块之间,并仅在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下将从所述待机模块输出的待机电压输入至所述顺序模块。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,
其中,所述控制模块包括:
第一开关装置,在施加有PS_ON信号的情况下导通;以及
第二开关装置,通过被置于所述待机模块和所述顺序模块之间,在所述第一开关装置导通的情况下导通。
3.根据权利要求2所述的用于等离子显示面板的开关电源电路,
其中,所述第一开关装置和所述第二开关装置是晶体管。
