The lower cantilever roller wheel can be used as a trunnion so that the gate leafcan rotate around the center of the trunnion, or the lower cantilever roller wheel can roll in the gate slot so that the gate leaf can rise and tilt out of the water surface to overhaul position. Theregular start or close operation of a gate is the same as that of the flapgate. When overhaul is needed and the gate is in close position, the upper cantilever roller wheel of the gate is put in place and the gate topples over to form a lifting tilting gate.
