Description
背景技术
在牙科领域,牙科医师更喜欢使用在对一个病人使用之后可随意处理的分配筒。这些通称为单剂量筒。单剂量筒比多用筒具有若干显著的优点。单剂量筒比多用筒更卫生。对于单次使用的筒,在程序完成之后,牙科医师能够随意处理该筒,从而减小了在病人之间传播细菌和传染病的可能性。而且,单剂量筒没有如多用筒那么多的浪费。对于多用筒,树脂和硬化剂组分经常在使用之间多次交叉污染,导致粘合剂硬化并致使分配器无用。由于这种情况,牙科医师只能从多用筒中获得两到三次的使用,并没有实现多次使用筒的利益。
目前很多牙科医师使用的单剂量分配系统由可重复使用的手持式敷料器和装配到手持式敷料器中的一次性的单组分的单剂量筒组成。美国专利No.5306147和6095814说明了这种单剂量分配系统的示例。这些系统用于分配单组分的流体。然而当需要两种流体时,它们不是最适宜的选择。目前,想要应用双组分的粘合剂的牙科医师必须从单剂量筒中将流体(例如,通常为树脂)分配到表面上,之后添加硬化剂,然后将该硬化剂与树脂混合。此过程耗时并麻烦,对于要混合双组分的粘合剂的牙科医师而言不是最有效的方式。

发明内容
根据本发明的一个方面,一种具有手持式敷料器的流体筒,其中该筒形成为存储和分配两种流体,该流体筒包括限定了出口的外筒壁;具有位于手持式敷料器中的颈部的端盖,其中该端盖连接到外筒壁并限定了开口端。该流体筒还包括设置在外筒壁内的导流管,该导流管限定了与由外筒壁限定的出口并置的出口;设置在外筒壁与导流管之间而形成第一流体腔的第一活塞;以及设置在外筒壁内,位于第一活塞与端盖的开口端之间的第二活塞。该筒还包括设置在第一活塞与第二活塞之间的固定壁,其中该固定壁和第二活塞限定了第二流体腔,并且该筒还包括设置在第二活塞与第一活塞之间的传动结构。

具体实施方式
参照图1A和图1B,示出了本发明的单剂量、双流体筒20的实施例。所示的实施例是1∶1流体比率的双流体筒20的实施例,但是应当理解也可使用具有其它流体比率(例如,2∶1比率)的筒的其它实施例,而不偏离此处公开的本发明。双流体筒20包括外筒壁22和端盖24。在此实施例中,端盖24具有卡扣在外筒壁22上的卡扣环26。在其它的实施例中,端盖24可形成为以不同的方式与外筒壁22相连,包括使端盖24与外筒壁22整体形成。此外,端盖24包括座环28和颈部30。如下文详细说明的,双流体筒20存储两种彼此分离的流体,所述两种流体当混合到一起时起化学反应而形成诸如粘合剂的最终产品。此实施例的双流体筒20仅存储足够在分配时形成单剂量的最终产品的组分流体。图1A显示了螺纹盖32处于适当位置的分配筒20。螺纹盖32在运输期间以及使用之前处于适当的位置。图1B显示了螺纹盖32被取下而喷嘴34连接到筒20的准备使用的分配筒20。喷嘴34通过固定螺母36连接到筒20,该固定螺母36被拧到筒20的螺纹出口38上(图2A)。通常,喷嘴34内容纳有静态混合器40。当从筒20中分配流体时,静态混合器40将存储在双流体筒20中的两种流体混合到一起。
参照图2A-2C,本发明的双流体筒20与诸如图2A-2C中所示的手持式敷料器42一起使用。手持式敷料器42是在市场上可得到的标准手持式敷料器。这种手持式敷料器普遍应用于牙科领域。然而,应当理解本发明的双流体筒20不限于仅在牙科领域中使用。本发明的双流体筒20可与任何应用领域中的手持式敷料器一起使用。还应当理解本发明的筒20可与任何手持式敷料器一起使用或经过修改用于任何手持式敷料器,而不限于仅与附图中所示的敷料器一起使用。图2A-2C中所示的手持式敷料器42具有带有延伸部46的柱塞44。柱塞44向后延伸穿过手持式敷料器42的手柄50的前部48。手持式敷料器42还具有位于敷料器42前部的柱塞通道56,当使用敷料器42时,该柱塞通道56为柱塞44限定了冲程路径。在前端,柱塞通道56具有三个变宽度的不同段58、60、62,以接收和保持筒20,下文对其进行更详细地说明。后段58具有最宽的宽度,中段60更窄,而前段62最窄。

参照图2A和图2B,在此实施例中,通过将座环28与柱塞通道56的宽后段58对准并将筒20放入柱塞通道56中来将筒20装入敷料器42中。然后将筒20向前拉进柱塞通道56中,使得座环28位于中段60中,而筒20的颈部30牢固地位于最窄直径的前段62中。这通称为“后装(breachloading)”配置。然后,如图2B中所示,筒20位于敷料器42中并准备使用。应当理解上述的座式配置仅仅是筒20可设计装配到敷料器42中的一种方式。如必要,端盖24可以任何方式重新构造以装配到任何预定的敷料器42中。例如,代替后装配置,筒20可卡扣在柱塞通道56中并通过干涉配合保持在适当的位置。这是为什么端盖24与外筒壁22分离的一个原因,从而能将不同构造的端盖24用于和卡扣在标准的外筒壁22构造上。

筒20的导流管74设置在外筒壁22的中空内部86内。在此实施例中,导流管74在卡扣连接件92处与外筒壁22卡扣成锁定接合。在此实施例中,导流管74限定了在出口90内延伸并超出该出口90的出口94。可以预见外筒壁22和导流管74也可彼此整体形成,并且还可预见除了附图中所示的构造之外,对于出口90、94可采用不同的出口构造。在此实施例中,压缩壁82与导流管74整体形成,导流管74将压缩壁82固定在适当的位置。
双流体筒20的第一活塞76设置在筒20内,位于导流管74的外部与外筒壁22的内部之间。在此实施例中,第一活塞76环绕导流管74的外部。第一活塞76与导流管74的外部以及外筒壁22的内部一起限定了第一流体腔70。
在此实施例中,后活塞组件84和压缩壁82限定了第二流体腔72。导流管74提供第二流体腔72与排放口94之间的流体连通。后活塞组件84包括后活塞面96、柱塞延伸部98以及传动结构100。在此实施例中,后活塞组件84不包括柱,但是在其它实施例中,可使用柱来将流体的浪费减到最少,如在共同拥有的US专利No.5310091和US专利申请Ser.No.11/031929中所公开的。
此外,应当理解在此实施例中,后活塞组件84的不同部分96、98、100都彼此整体形成,但是这不是必须的。本领域的普通技术人员将理解,后活塞组件84的每个部分可以是其自身的独立结构。在此实施例中,传动结构100从后活塞组件84的后活塞面96延伸,紧密地在压缩壁82与外筒壁22的内部之间通过而形成密封,并与第一活塞76接合。
要从双流体筒20中分配流体,将后活塞组件84向前压向筒的前部。在所述的实施例中,这通过驱动手持式敷料器42来进行。参照图2B,详细地,使用者将手柄50的后部54压向手柄50的前部48。由此,沿由图5中的箭头指示的方向,将柱塞44和延伸部46向前压入柱塞通道56中。在此运动中,延伸部46的末端压在后活塞组件84的柱塞延伸部98上,进入端环24。同时,后活塞面96推压存储在腔72中的流体80,而传动结构100压在第一活塞76上。在腔72中通过后活塞面96推动的流体80被固定的压缩壁82压缩,推动流体80通过导流管74并通过排放口94,在排放口94处,流体80从双流体筒20中排出。同时,传动结构100在第一活塞76上的施压促使第一流体腔70中的流体78被压入排放口90中,通过该排放口90,流体78从双流体筒20中排出。当流体78、80通过排放口90、94从双流体筒20中排出时,它们通过喷嘴34中的静态混合器40混合到一起。
只要柱塞44和延伸部46被驱动并且只要仍留有流体要从双流体筒20中分配,那么此流体排放和混合过程就继续。图5示出了处于中间分配位置的双流体筒20,其中流体78、80的一部分从双流体筒20中被分配。图6示出了双流体筒20,其中筒20的腔70、72的流体容纳物被完全分配。
在没有所示的剩余浪费流体78、80的情况下,图6中双流体筒20的配置就是填充之前双流体筒20看起来的样子。要填充双流体筒20,通过腔70、72各自的排放口90、94,利用适当的流体78、80来填充腔70、72。填充过程以上述分配过程的相反方式发生。在填充过程期间,空气可能被收集到腔70、72中,位于进入流体78、80与活塞面76、96之间。在双流体筒20的使用中,收集在腔70、72中的空气能引起很多问题。最明显地,收集在腔70、72中的空气能不利地影响控制腔70、72中流体78、80的体积分配比率的能力。为缓解此问题,可采用排气系统,诸如在共同拥有的国际专利申请No.PCT/US03/17997或美国专利申请Ser.No.10/755796和11/031929中描述的排气系统,所述专利申请通过参引合并于此。

Claims (19)
1.一种用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述筒形成为存储和分配两种流体,包括:
外筒壁,其限定了出口;
端盖,其具有位于所述手持式敷料器中的颈部,其中所述端盖连接到所述外筒壁并限定了开口端;
导流管,其设置在所述外筒壁内并限定了与由所述外筒壁限定的所述出口并置的出口;
第一活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁与所述导流管之间,从而形成第一流体腔;
第二活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁内,位于所述第一活塞与所述端盖的所述开口端之间;
固定壁,其设置在所述第一活塞与所述第二活塞之间,其中所述固定壁和所述第二活塞限定了第二流体腔;以及

11.一种用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述筒存储和分配两种流体,包括:
外筒壁,其限定了出口;
端盖,其具有位于所述手持式敷料器中的颈部,其中所述端盖连接到所述外筒壁并限定了开口端;
导流管,其设置在所述外筒壁内并限定了与由所述外筒壁限定的所述出口并置的出口;
第一活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁与所述导流管之间,从而形成容纳第一流体的第一流体腔;
第二活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁内,位于所述第一活塞与所述端盖的所述开口端之间;
固定壁,其设置在所述第一活塞与所述第二活塞之间,其中所述固定壁和所述第二活塞限定了容纳第二流体的第二流体腔;以及
传动结构,其设置在所述第二活塞与所述第一活塞之间。
12.根据权利要求11所述的用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述端盖包括座环。
13.根据权利要求12所述的用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述筒设计为以后装方式装入手持式敷料器中。
14.根据权利要求12所述的用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述筒设计为卡扣在手持式敷料器中。
15.根据权利要求11所述的用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述端盖与所述外筒壁整体形成。
16.根据权利要求11所述的用于与手持式敷料器一起使用的流体筒,其中所述筒容纳一定量的所述第一流体和所述第二流体,以制备单剂量的所述两种流体的最终产品。
17.一种单剂量流体分配机构,包括:
手持式敷料器;
双流体筒,其设置在所述手持式敷料器中,其中所述双流体筒包括:
外筒壁,其限定了出口;
端盖,其具有位于所述手持式敷料器中的颈部,其中所述端盖连接到所述外筒壁并限定了开口端;
导流管,其设置在所述外筒壁内并限定了与由所述外筒壁限定的所述出口并置的出口;
第一活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁与所述导流管之间,从而形成容纳第一流体的第一流体腔;
第二活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁内,位于所述第一活塞与所述端盖的所述开口端之间;
固定壁,其设置在所述第一活塞与所述第二活塞之间,其中所述固定壁和所述第二活塞限定了容纳第二流体的第二流体腔;以及
传动结构,其设置在所述第二活塞与所述第一活塞之间。
18.根据权利要求17所述的单剂量流体分配机构,其中所述流体分配机构中的所述第一流体和所述第二流体是牙科最终产品的组分。
19.一种分配单剂量的双组分最终产品的方法,包括:
提供具有柱塞的手持式敷料器;
提供双流体筒,所述双流体筒包括:
外筒壁,其限定了出口;
端盖,其具有位于所述手持式敷料器中的颈部,其中所述端盖连接到所述外筒壁并限定了开口端;
导流管,其设置在所述外筒壁内并限定了与由所述外筒壁限定的所述出口并置的出口;
第一活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁与所述导流管之间,从而形成容纳第一流体的第一流体腔;
第二活塞,其设置在所述外筒壁内,位于所述第一活塞与所述端盖的所述开口端之间;
柱塞延伸部,其与所述第二活塞连通并设置在所述端盖内;
固定壁,其设置在所述第一活塞与所述第二活塞之间,其中所述固定壁和所述第二活塞限定了容纳第二流体的第二流体腔;和
传动结构,其设置在所述第二活塞与所述第一活塞之间;
将混合元件连接到所述双流体筒;
将具有所连接的混合元件的所述双流体筒插入所述手持式敷料器中;以及
驱动所述手持式敷料器的所述柱塞,其中所述柱塞接触所述双流体筒的所述柱塞延伸部,所述柱塞延伸部挤压所述第二活塞,所述第二活塞挤压所述传动结构,所述传动结构挤压所述第一活塞并将容纳在所述筒中的所述两种流体从混合器中推出且通过所连接的混合元件。
