背景技术
本发明涉及一种用于将纹理(texture)材料喷涂在建筑表面如天花板和墙壁上的手持式喷枪。纹理材料是泥浆形式的半固体材料,所述材料通常是用空气和泥浆结合施加,以向要涂布的表面推进和分散泥浆。 
发明内容
本发明是以人机工程的方式设计的喷枪,该喷枪用于喷涂纹理材料,并且如果气阀设置成提供一些气流,则所述喷枪可以从无空气泄放(bleed)构型转变成空气泄放构型。无空气泄放和空气泄放之间的转换可通过从喷枪主轴的后端取下螺钉来实现,从喷枪主轴的后端取下螺钉可以使所述轴的中心孔与喷枪体内的气室连通。在取下螺钉且供应空气到喷枪的情况下,喷枪将穿过空气喷嘴连续地泄放空气,而与扳机位置无关。在螺钉就位且供应空气到喷枪的情况下,只有在致动板机时喷枪才泄放空气。在第一实施例中,可以利用气阀来控制从完全关闭到完全打开的空气流动路径的气流。

具体实施方式
现在参见附图,特别是参见图1-14,可以看出本发明的纹理喷枪的第一实施例。本发明的喷枪可以设置成无空气泄放构型或者空气泄放构型。在无空气泄放(或者“无泄放”)构型中,当没有扣动喷枪时,即,当使用者没有拉动扳机以排出纹理材料时,用于推动纹理混合物的空气至少基本一直被关闭。在空气泄放(“泄放”)构型中,无论扳机的位置如何或扣动与否,显著的气流在纹理喷嘴处在喷枪前面连续地排出;在这种构型中,无论是否排出纹理材料,空气都在用来推进纹理材料的(流量)水平下连续地接通。换句话说,在无泄放构型中,扳机接通空气流和纹理材料流。在泄放构型中,气流总是接通,扳机只接通纹理材料流。 
无论喷枪配置怎样的空气流构型,在喷枪主轴行进至少0.090”之前,供应到喷枪的纹理材料将不释放出。如果喷枪构造成无泄放,则空气将在扳机致动时立即穿过喷枪的空气喷嘴泄放,并且只在主轴行进至少0.090”之后才被纹理材料结合。材料流量由扳机致动的程度控制,所述扳机致动程度控制主轴朝喷枪的后部行进多远。随着所述轴向后行进,材料流量增加。喷枪体的后部上的材料流量调节旋钮限制从最小到最大的扳机运动和轴行程,其中在从最小到最大的扳机运动和轴行程之间具有连续可调的定位。当达到所希望的流量调节时,旋钮可以锁紧在合适位置处,以防止调 节旋钮的意外运动。 
空气流量也可以在喷枪体内通过旋转空气流量控制阀进行控制,所述空气流量控制阀垂直于喷枪手柄内的空气通道孔口。转动阀旋钮可增加空气流量,或将空气流量从完全“接通”减少到下述两种情况其中之一:i)完全“切断”(在第一实施例中);ii)“最小”空气流量(在第二实施例中),其中在完全接通至完全切断或最小空气流量之间连续可调。空气流量控制阀旋钮连接到气阀轴上,所述气阀轴与主空气通道孔口垂直相交。在相交点处是气阀轴中的孔,根据旋钮的转动,所述气阀轴将孔不同程度地暴露到喷枪的空气通道孔口中,由此控制穿过喷枪头到空气喷嘴的空气流。在本发明的这方面,在纹理喷枪上设有一体式空气阀,这与典型的现有技术的纹理喷枪不同。 
喷枪手柄容纳材料流和空气流的通道孔口,不像现有技术纹理喷枪通常(至多)只有穿过手柄延伸的空气通道孔口,而材料通道孔口(通常)在喷枪扳机的前面。在材料通道位于喷枪扳机前面的情况下,用户必须“克服”装有纹理材料的材料软管的重量,因为材料软管悬臂式远离用户的手,因此增加了手和臂的负担。 
这种负担在本发明的实际应用中减少,其中,材料通道穿过人机工程学设计的喷枪手柄,该手柄在操作期间握在用户手掌中。 
参见附图,最特别是参见图1-5,喷枪10具有优选由铝制成的枪体12。枪体12具有手柄14和扳机16。喷嘴螺母18通过螺纹固定到枪体12的前面,并将纹理喷嘴20保持到枪体12上。气阀22位于枪体12中。气阀具有位于气阀轴26上的气阀旋钮24,它们的情况可以在图7和14中看出。

在扳机16松开的情况下,纹理(材料)孔口28和空气孔口29切断(在安装了螺钉64的情况下)。现在参见图5和11,当扳机从图5中实线所示的位置移动到链线(点划线)所示的位置时,截止阀52打开,从而允许空气如图11中箭头72所示地流动。应该理解,如图6中所示,随着扳机完全压下,空气将持续流动,这时纹理材料将能流动(如图12中箭头74所示),因为空气喷嘴从纹理喷嘴缩回。 
上述操作描述了无泄放式操作的喷枪10,其中只有当压下扳机时空气 才泄放。喷枪10可以通过取下螺钉64而转变成全时泄放操作,在取下螺钉64之后,无论是否拉动扳机16,空气都将如箭头所示地流动。在本发明的这方面,可以看出,一旦取下纹理调节旋钮,从而能够接近螺钉64,就可通过螺钉64存在与否,使喷枪10容易地在无泄放操作和泄放操作之间转换。

本发明不应看作是对其所有细节的限制,因为可以进行修改和变型而不会脱离本发明的精神和范围。例如并且不作为限制,作为在气阀轴中具有第二通道的替代方案,可以通过空气阀的轴上的旋转止动件来提供最小气流特点,以限制运动,从而防止完全关闭第一或主横向通道。 

Claims (15)
