Adopting the terminal timing startup method and the terminal provided by the invention, the clock module is externally arranged out of the control module of the terminal; after the terminal is powered off, the clock module runs to the preset startup time, triggers the power supply to be powered on, thereby realizing the timing startup of the terminal; furthermore, a power-off alarm of the terminal can also be realized. And at the power-off state, only the power supply of the clock module is powered on, thereby making the terminal consume less electricity with energy saving.

In the embodiments of the present invention, the terminal refers to a device including a control module and a communication module, and includes a mobile phone, a PDA, and the like. Wherein,
