Description

Calling system and method
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a calling system and method.
Background
In the published or developing specifications of various major standards organizations at present, how to implement the combination of the one-number service and the user state in 3G networks such as internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) and the like still belongs to the blank field. In existing applications, only the state presentation part of the user or the one-number service is focused on, and neither is an application in the 3G network.
Further, prior arts relatively close to the present invention are presented in the following patent documents: chinese patent application No. CN200610035074, "a user state presentation method and system", and patent No. CN200510063698, "a user state presentation system and method", and chinese patent No. CN200510048296, "a call processing and telephone terminal".
Among them, CN200610035074 and CN200510063698 have the following disadvantages: just defining the presence of a user's state is a way for terminals to observe each other's state, just limited to the definition between the user's state publication and presence, and not to combine the user's state with the call. CN200510048296 defines a method of calling and status in PSTN network, which requires the use of a specific telephone terminal, and the called number is fixed, only the leaving status can be modified, which has limitation, and the convenient and numerous functions brought by IMS network are not well applied because the functions in IMS environment are not considered.
It is obvious that the calling terminal of the calling user in the current IMS can not automatically and efficiently call the called terminal according to the user state of the called user, the call success rate is low, and the user satisfaction is seriously reduced.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a calling system and method, which enable a calling terminal to automatically and efficiently call a called terminal according to a user status of a called user, thereby improving a call success rate and user satisfaction.

The corresponding relation is that one called user state corresponds to a plurality of called terminals; the call control unit is further configured to obtain another called terminal corresponding to the called user status from the status matching unit, and initiate a call to the called terminal.
The system is arranged in an IMS system, and the user terminal is an IMS terminal.
A method of calling, the method comprising:
presetting a corresponding relation between a user state and a user terminal; and acquiring the state of the called user, searching the called terminal corresponding to the state of the called user according to the set corresponding relation, and calling the searched called terminal.
The method for acquiring the state of the called user comprises the following steps:
and sending a state query request aiming at the called user to a state presentation control unit which stores the user state, searching the called user state by the state presentation control unit, and returning the searched called user state as a search result.
The corresponding relation is that one called user state corresponds to a plurality of called terminals; the method further comprises the following steps:
and aiming at the calling overtime of the called terminal, acquiring another called terminal corresponding to the called user state, and initiating a call to the called terminal.
The method further comprises the following steps:

FIG. 1 is a diagram of a paging system in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention;
fig. 2 is a call flow diagram according to an embodiment of the invention.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a diagram of a paging system according to an embodiment of the present invention, and all devices in fig. 1 constitute a paging system. Wherein, IMS core network connects with IMS terminal A, IMS terminal B, call control unit, state display control unit; the call control unit is connected with the state presentation control unit; the state matching unit is directly connected with the call control unit or connected with the state presentation control unit. The state matching unit can be placed on the calling side and also on the state presenting side. Besides the IMS terminal, other devices in fig. 1 may be disposed on the network side.
Specifically, both IMS terminal a and IMS terminal B are user terminals applied to the IMS system, and have functions such as voice, data, and video communication.
The state presentation control unit is used for acquiring and controlling the states of other users displayed by the user terminal, and simultaneously displaying the states different from the real states on the terminal according to the strategy of the user terminal. And, when the state of the user terminal changes, the state is notified to the state presentation control unit through the standard protocol.
The call control unit is used for carrying out call control such as call connection, call disconnection and the like on the user terminal.
The state matching unit stores the corresponding relationship between the preset called user state and the called terminal, and the corresponding relationship can be expressed as the corresponding called user state and the called terminal, such as: the off-line state corresponds to the first called terminal, and the on-line state corresponds to the second called terminal; in practical applications, the first called terminal may be the handset of the called user, and the second called terminal may be the home phone of the called user. The above correspondence may be referred to as a call policy.
The call policy is set at the network side. Of course, the setting can also be performed on the IMS terminal, and the call policy whose setting is completed is reported to the state matching unit for storage.
In practical applications, the state matching unit may be disposed in any one of the devices in fig. 1, or the state matching unit may be disposed in a physical entity independently.
In specific application, the IMS terminal a may be assumed as a calling terminal, and the IMS terminal B may be assumed as a called terminal. A calling terminal can initiate a call to a call control unit through a CSCF (located in an IMS core network) in an IMS system (a message for initiating the call carries called user identification such as a called user name); the call control unit carries the called user identifier aimed at by the call in the state query request and sends the request to the state presentation control unit. When receiving the called user identifier from the call control unit, the state presentation control unit searches the state of the called user represented by the identifier, and returns the searched state of the called user to the call control unit as a search result, the call control unit forwards the received state of the called user to the state matching unit, and the state presentation control unit can also directly send the user state to the state matching unit.
After receiving the called user state, the state matching unit searches the called terminal corresponding to the called user state in the call strategy stored in the state matching unit, and sends the information (such as the called terminal number) of the called terminal to the call control unit. After receiving the information of the called terminal, the call control unit can initiate a call to the called terminal through the IMS core network. If the called terminal replies the response through the IMS core network, the call control unit sends the response to the calling terminal through the IMS core network to inform the calling terminal that the communication can be started. After that, the calling terminal may then perform subsequent communication procedures with the called terminal.
It should be noted that, the called user status and the called terminal may not be the aforementioned one-to-one correspondence, but may be a one-to-many or many-to-one correspondence (in this case, the called terminal corresponding to the called user status may be sequenced). In the case that one called user state corresponds to a plurality of called terminals, if the call control unit calls for one called terminal overtime, the call control unit may switch to initiate a call to the next proper called terminal located at the overtime called terminal. Certainly, in order to implement the cis-position call, the call control unit needs to acquire the next cis-position called terminal information corresponding to the called user state from the state matching unit, so as to initiate a call to the next cis-position called terminal according to the acquired next cis-position called terminal information.
It can be seen from the above that, no matter how the state matching unit is set, the key is to acquire the state of the called user from the state presentation control unit, and the state matching unit searches for the called terminal corresponding to the state of the called user. Of course, in practical applications, the state presentation control unit may send the user state to the state matching unit in advance, instead of actively acquiring the user state by the state matching unit. In addition, when the state matching unit is installed in a physical entity such as a call control unit, interactive signaling between the operation units is changed into a communication method such as a message inside the operation units.
The call control unit and the state presentation control unit can be realized by a service server in the IMS system.
The operation of the system shown in fig. 1 when the state matching unit is arranged in the call control unit can be represented by fig. 2. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a call flow chart according to an embodiment of the present invention, which includes the following steps:
step 201 to step 202: the calling terminal initiates a call to the call control unit through the IMS core network.
Step 203: for a call from a calling terminal, a call control unit queries a state presentation control unit for the state of a called user to which the call is directed.
Step 204: the state presentation control unit searches the state of the called user and returns the searched state of the called user to the call control unit as a search result.
Step 205: the call control unit controls the built-in state matching unit to search the called terminal corresponding to the received called user state.
Step 206 to step 207: and the call control unit initiates a call to the called terminal through the IMS core network.
Step 208 to step 209: under the condition that one called user state corresponds to a plurality of called terminals, if the calling aiming at the called terminal is overtime, the calling control unit transfers to the called terminal positioned at the next order of the overtime called terminal to initiate the calling.
Of course, if the called user status is not ordered by the called terminals, the call control unit may select one of the available called terminals from the called terminals corresponding to the called user status to initiate the call.
Step 210 to step 211: the called terminal replies a response to the call control unit through the IMS core network.
Step 212 to step 213: the call control unit sends the received response to the calling terminal through the IMS core network, and informs the calling terminal that the communication can be started.
Step 214: and the calling terminal and the called terminal returning the response develop a subsequent communication process.
As can be seen from the above, the calling system and method of the present invention can acquire the state of the called user and search for the called terminal corresponding to the state of the called user, so that the calling system and method can automatically and efficiently initiate a call to the searched available called terminal, which obviously can effectively improve the success rate of the call and can obviously improve the satisfaction degree of the user.
