更新吊顶板的方法
技术领域
本发明总体上涉及建筑领域,特别是涉及一种更新吊顶板的方法。
背景技术
吊顶或者“掉顶”天花板是本领域公知的。通常,用固定在建筑屋顶框架或者机械部件上的丝悬挂吊顶格栅或者格架。然后将吊顶装饰板插入到所述格架中。吊顶与干墙顶相比具有很多优点。这些优点包括但是不限于在安装时降低成本和不至于杂乱。此外,在漏水或其它损害发生时,可以简单地更换单个损坏的吊顶板,而不用象在干墙顶那样必须修复和/或重新涂刷整个吊顶板。
时间久了,吊顶板可能会变脏和磨损。如果经常提升吊顶板以接近照明固定装置、喇叭或者在支承格架上方的机械部件,一些吊顶板也许会损坏。另外,装饰的品位随着时间会变化,有些人也许只是想要改变一下吊顶板的外表。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种快速、便捷和便宜的更新吊顶板和提供“新“悬挂吊顶板的方法。
为了实现上述和其它目的并根据本发明的上述目的,提供了一种改进的更新吊顶板和格架系统的方法。该方法包括如下步骤:从格架上提起旧吊顶板,将新吊顶板放置在旧吊顶板放置的格架上,然后将旧吊顶板放置在新吊顶板的上面。
需要时,该方法还包括在将新吊顶板放置在格架上之前成形新吊顶板的步骤。所述成形步骤包括将新吊顶板切割成适当的尺寸以安装到格架上。所述成形步骤还包括在新吊顶板上切出一个开口,以容纳障碍物,如照明固定装置、喇叭、感烟器、管道、喷头等的步骤。另外,该方法包括在将新吊顶板放置在格架上之前将胶带施加到新吊顶板上可选的步骤。
在下面的描述中,通过示出一种实施本发明的最佳方式,示出并描述了一个本发明的优选实施例。如同可以认识到的,本发明能够具有不同的实施例,其多个局部可以在各个不同的方面进行各种修改,都不偏离本发明。因此,视图和说明将应该被理解为说明性的而不是限制性的。

参见图1,图1示出了例如用于本发明的更新吊顶板方法的吊顶板10和格架系统。所述吊顶板10优选的是一个刚性的结构,其在整个寿期中都不会弯曲和下垂。吊顶板10可以由单个玻璃罩或通过组合层制造。
在单个玻璃罩的情况下,吊顶板10将包括玻璃纤维和通过单侧涂覆或者完全浸渍增加的附加化学制品。由Owens Corning公司制造和出售的ADVANTEX玻璃纤维可以用于此目的。纤维的厚度可以在大约6-21微米之间变化。玻璃纤维的长度可以在大约4-38mm之间变化。另外,应该理解的是,可以使用其它的纤维,例如合成聚合物(例如聚丙烯、聚乙烯、聚酯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯、芳纶、尼龙、人造纤维)或者天然纤维(如棉花、大麻、洋麻、黄麻)。
常用的涂覆和浸渍吊顶板的化学制品包括聚乙烯醇,合成聚合物粘合剂如聚丙烯酸酯、聚醋酸脂、乙烯聚合物,填充剂如氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、碳酸钙、合成的微球体、玻璃球、以及阻燃的含氮和磷的化合物。还可以使用吊顶板边缘涂覆物,例如授权给Gleeson等人的美国专利US4559377公开的那种。
在使用组合层的情况下,吊顶板10通常包括上述成份的玻璃罩,其与一个或者多个附加的玻璃罩、加强的平纹棉麻织物、合成聚合物材料的薄板、金属、纸板、纸、矿物棉、玻璃棉、木质纸浆、石膏板或其它形成加强层的硬材料一起,以产生美观的特性。通过胶粘、热焊或其它手段可以使这些层组合或叠层在一起。
下面将参照附图2a-2d详细描述本发明的更新方法。在图2a中,悬挂的吊顶板系统S包括格架或者栅格G,其通过本领域公知的方式用丝W从建筑的顶部框架F上悬吊下来。已有的吊顶板T(图中只示出了一块)填充相邻格架元件之间的开口,以便提供美观的吊顶板表面。通过先将旧吊顶板T从格架G上提起(见图2b),然后将新吊顶板10放置在旧吊顶板T先前放置的格架G上(见图2c),接着将旧吊顶板T放置在新吊顶板10的上面(见图2d),可以快速容易地更换悬挂吊顶板系统S的已有吊顶板T。在此位置,旧吊顶板T有效地将新吊顶板10保持在格架G中。其中新吊顶板10包括边缘12,当吊顶板适当地定位在格架上时,这些边缘坐靠在格架G上并与格架接合。
应该理解的是,该方法还包括在将新吊顶板定位在格架G上之前需要成形时,成形新吊顶板的步骤。因此,成形步骤包括将新吊顶板10切割成适当的尺寸,以安装在格架上。在靠近墙壁的地方,标准的格架尺寸将与可用的空间不适配,这种成形步骤通常是必须的。另外,成形步骤包括在新吊顶板10中切割出一个开口,以便容纳障碍物,例如照明固定装置、喇叭、感烟器、管道、喷头等。
该方法还包括在将新吊顶板10放置在格架G上之前,将胶带施加到新吊顶板10上可选的步骤。在吊顶板10包括边缘12的情况下,如图所示,在边缘部分上设置两个侧部的胶带。然后,将吊顶板10放置在格架G中并压下,使得胶带将吊顶板10粘结到格架G上。在新吊顶板10上的旧吊顶板T的重量帮助确保连接的完整性。
总之,使用本发明的构思可以产生多个有益效果。本发明的方法提供了一种更新悬挂吊顶板系统,特别是更换吊顶板的简单和方便的方法。由于旧吊顶板保持在新吊顶板10的上方的空间中,所以在更新过程中不会导致杂乱,并且不再需要移走旧吊顶板并将其扔掉所需的时间和人工。因此,安装成本大大地降低了。此外,新吊顶板10能够使得人们在美学上升级任何现有的吊顶板,而与吊顶板的型式和设计无关。由于旧吊顶板T保持在格架G上,就位在新吊顶板10的后面,例如涉及防火和隔音特性的吊顶板的原始技术性能至少被保持,即使不由新吊顶板10改善的话。另外,由于可以在不产生任何大的杂乱以及不需要移走旧吊顶板T的情况下更换旧吊顶板T,因此可以在通常的工作环境下工作,同时使工作区破坏程度最小。
为了示出和描述的目的,给出了本发明优选实施例的上述描述。不是要穷尽地将本发明限定在所公开的形式。根据上面给出的启示,可以进行各种修改和变化。例如,吊顶板10可以包括切掉边缘减少厚度,该切除后的边缘接合格架并使板的表面延伸通过格架。此外,不使用两侧的胶带,适当的粘结剂可以直接施加到吊顶板上,然后将吊顶板放置在格架上。在另一个可选的实施例中,吊顶板本身沿着接合格架的边缘可以是自粘附的。
选择和描述这些实施例是为了最佳示出本发明的原理及其实际应用,从而使得本领域的普通技术人员能够将本发明运用到各个实施例中,同时设想作出与特定用途相适应的各种改进。所述这些改进和变化都在按照公正、合法和等同原则解释本发明所附权利要求的授权宽度所确定的范围内。附图和优选实施例不限制也不是想要以某种方式限制权利要求的字面含义以及合理和宽泛的解释。

Claims (6)

1.一种更新吊顶板和格架系统的方法,该方法包括如下步骤:
从格架上提起旧吊顶板;
将新吊顶板放置在旧吊顶板放置的格架中;以及
将旧吊顶板放置在新吊顶板的上面。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括在将所述新吊顶板放置在格架上之前成形所述新吊顶板的步骤。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,所述成形步骤包括将新吊顶板切割成适当的尺寸以安装到格架上的步骤。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,所述成形步骤还包括在新吊顶板上切出开口,以容纳障碍物。
5.如前面任一权利要求所述的方法,包括在将新吊顶板放置在格架上之前,将胶带施加到所述新吊顶板上的步骤。
6.如权利要求1-4中任意一项所述的方法,包括在将新吊顶板放置在格架上之前,将胶粘剂施加到所述新吊顶板上的步骤。
