本发明涉及纸张及纸张的接合方法。本发明的纸张的接合方法能够在不形成贯通孔、不降低质地、不增加材料成本的条件下以充分的强度结合不含有热熔合成分的纸。本发明的纸张的接合方法中,在不含有热熔合成分的第一纸张10上抵接不含有热熔合成分的第二纸张11,同时向该抵接部分施加超声波,使第二纸张11的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张10的纤维间,由此在无需热熔合的条件下形成接合部分。

Description

纸张及纸张的接合方法
技术领域
本发明涉及纸张(paper sheet)及纸张的接合方法。
背景技术
在例如卫生纸、纸巾、厨房用纸、毛巾纸等中,为了改善耐久性、液体透过性、吸收性等功能性,提供出一种将两层以上的不含有热熔合成分的纸张重合后一体化、从而能够作为一层纸张来进行利用的类型的纸(例如在纸巾中将两层重合的纸巾称为双层)。
作为这种重合纸张的制造方法,有在将纸重合的状态下形成针孔那样细小的孔的方法,还有不借助或借助粘合材料将纸重合后实施非加热或加热轧纹加工的方法(例如参见专利文献1)。
但是,在形成细小的孔的方法中,由于贯通孔的存在而导致液体易于透过纸张,并导致质地降低。并且,在不借助粘合材料将纸重合进行轧纹加工的方法中,存在接合力弱的问题。此外,在借助粘合材料将纸重合进行轧纹加工的方法中,由于使用粘合材料而导致材料成本增加。另外,加热轧纹加工中不可避免的是质地由于加热而降低。

发明内容
于是,本发明的主要课题在于,将不含有热熔合成分的纸张重合并进行接合时,能够在不形成贯通孔、不降低质地、不增加材料成本的条件下以充分的强度进行接合。
解决了上述课题的本发明内容如下。
<权利要求1所述的发明>
一种纸张,其是在不含有热熔合成分的第一纸张上接合不含有热熔合成分的第二纸张而成的纸张,
这种纸张的特征在于,在第一纸张上抵接第二纸张,同时向该抵接部分施加超声波,使第二纸张的纤维机械性地嵌入至第一纸张的纤维间,由此在无需热熔合的条件下接合而成所述纸张。
(作用效果)
如此地在纸张的接合部分进行抵接并同时向抵接部分传播超声波,可以使第二纸张的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张的纤维间,在无需热熔合的条件下将两纸张进行一体化。并且,由于在接合部分发生了纤维的结晶化,所以接合部分带有光泽,外观变得良好。其原理明显不同于在纸技术领域以外所使用的超声波溶敷,能够在抑制质地降低的同时实现充分的强度。并且,不需要形成贯通孔和不需要粘合材料这一点当然自不用说。

如权利要求1或2所述的纸张,其中,接合部分形成了图案。
(作用效果)
本发明中,虽说接合部分的质地降低程度较小,但与未进行任何操作的情况相比在质地上还是出现了变化。因此,优选在接合部分设计图案,由此利用整体的功能性和功能美来弥补部分质地上的变化。
<权利要求3所述的发明>
如权利要求1或2所述的纸张,其中,接合部分的75°光泽度为非接合部分的1.4倍以上。
(作用效果)
当接合部分的光泽度在此范围内时,接合部分会带有美丽的光泽,外观变得良好。另外,75°光泽度是指利用JIS P8142所规定的75°光泽度试验测定出的光泽度,当对于对象部位以75°的入射角照射光时,75°的出射角的反射光量相对于入射光量的百分率表示所述75°光泽度。
<权利要求4所述的发明>
一种纸张的接合方法,其是在不含有热熔合成分的第一纸张上接合不含有热熔合成分的第二纸张的方法,
该接合方法的特征在于,在第一纸张上抵接第二纸张,同时向该抵接部分施加超声波,使第二纸张的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张的纤维间,由此在无需热熔合的条件下进行接合。
(作用效果)
达到与权利要求1所述发明同样的作用效果。
<权利要求5所述的发明>
如权利要求4所述的纸张的接合方法,其中,上述抵接中的线性压力为0.5kgf/cm~5.0kgf/cm,上述超声波的频率为17kHz~100kHz,上述超声波的振幅为10μm~100μm。
(作用效果)
进行本发明的接合时,若线性压力、频率和振幅在该范围内,则极为有利。
如上所述,根据本发明,能够在不形成贯通孔、不降低质地、不增加材料成本的条件下以充分的强度接合不含有热熔合成分的纸张。

具体实施方式
下面,参照附图对本发明的一个实施方式进行详细说明。
图1显示出纸张的接合装置例1,其具有支承辊4和超声波施加部2,支承辊4在外周表面上具有按照规定的图案形成的凸出部分3,3…,超声波施加部2与支承辊4的凸出部分3,3…相抵接。第一纸张10和第二纸张11在相互重合的状态下通过超声波施加部2和支承辊4之间。
超声波施加部2按照以被称作放大器2B的放大单元对超声波振动器2A产生的超声波振动进行放大(放大振幅)并以被称为角(horn)或锥(cone)的单元2C传播至对象物的方式进行构成。对应于振幅、频率等工作条件的驱动电流通过图中未示出的振荡电路向超声波振动器2A进行供给。超声波振动的方向可以根据超声波振动器的种类和安装位置来适当设定在沿着纸张10、11的平面的方向(即辊宽方向)、与辊宽方向垂直或斜交的方向等。
另外,为了有效地向纸张10、11传播超声波的能量,不优选在支承辊4上使用吸收振动的材质(例如橡胶)。
图中虽未给出,但在本装置例1中具有朝向支承辊4对角2C进行加压的加压单元和支承辊4的旋转驱动单元。作为加压单元,可以采用利用气缸等驱动源将角2C自由地向支承辊4一侧进行挤压的结构。并且,作为旋转驱动单元,可以使用电机等,优选能够改变旋转速度以调整抵按时间。
接合时,第一纸张10和第二纸张11在相互重合的状态下,由接合装置1中的超声波施加部2(的角2C)和支承辊4之间通过。第一纸张10和第二纸张11是以NBKP或LBKP等纸浆纤维为原料、并根据需要添加柔软剂、纸张韧性增强剂、颜料等添加剂后经抄造而成的,其不含有热熔合纤维等热熔合成分。并且第一纸张10和第二纸张11既可以为同种材质,也可以为不同材质。
夹在超声波施加部2和支承辊4之间的第一纸张10和第二纸张11通过支承辊4的凸出部分3而部分抵接,同时,由超声波施加部2将超声波传播至该抵接部分,纤维利用该超声波能量而振动,由此使第二纸张11的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张10的纤维间,抵接部分在无需热熔合的条件下一体化,形成接合部分12。由于纤维在接合部分12发生了结晶化,接合部分带有光泽,外观变得良好。
抵接的压力以线性压力表示优选为0.5kgf/cm~5.0kgf/cm,特别优选为2.0kgf/cm~3.0kgf/cm。该抵接压力可以利用加压单元来调节。若抵接压力过低,则接合容易变得不充分;若抵接压力过高,则在纸张10、11上会出现漏洞,纸张容易在加工时断裂,或是角和支承辊易于发生磨损,因而不优选。
压合速度(每单元时间内经接合处理的纸张的长度)优选为10m/分钟~100m/分钟,特别优选为50m/分钟~100m/分钟。压合速度可以通过送纸速度来调节。若压合速度过快,则接合容易变得不充分;若压合速度过慢,则生产效率降低,或是接合部分12烧焦,因而不优选。
超声波的频率优选在17kHz~100kHz的范围内,超声波的振幅优选在10μm~100μm的范围内。频率过低的情况下,若不延长抵接时间,接合就容易变得不充分;频率过高的情况下,若不缩短抵接时间,处理就会进行过度,所以不优选。并且,振幅过小或过大都会容易使纤维的嵌入变得不充分,容易使接合变弱。
支承辊4的凸出部分3被设计为图案形状的情况下,与该图案对应地形成接合部分12。该图案可以适当设定,优选横竖或无规地排列有点状接合部12的图案。可以任意地选择接合部分12,例如形成图2和图3所示的菱形形状、图4所示的椭圆形状等。这些情况中,接合部分12的优选尺寸例为:最长长度a为0.8mm、最短长度b为0.39mm、面积为0.156mm2;优选的付与形态为:长间距A为3.1mm、短间距B为1.5mm。
并且,接合部分12也可以采用沿着移动方向或与该方向垂直的方向上的条纹状的连续线状图案而不是分散的图案。接合部分12不仅可以是几何图案,也可以是图5所示的带花样的图案。
进而,作为其他形式,也可以将整个纸张10、11设为接合部分,而不是部分地设置接合部分12,12…。
实施例
在调整线性压力、超声波频率和振幅的同时,利用本发明的超声波接合制作双层(重合两层)卫生纸的样品,对接合部分的光泽度和接合强度进行了评价。结果列于表1。另外,在表中,接合部分的光泽度是设非接合部的光泽度为100时的相对值。并且,对于接合强度,“弱”表示作为卫生纸在一系列的使用过程中纸张容易相互分离的程度的接合强度,“强”表示作为卫生纸在一系列的使用过程中纸张不相互分离的程度的接合强度。

工业实用性
本发明可以适宜用于卫生纸、纸巾、厨房用纸、毛巾纸等所代表的重合两层以上纸张(不限于两层)进行接合的用途。

Claims (5)

1.一种纸张,其是在不含有热熔合成分的第一纸张上接合不含有热熔合成分的第二纸张而形成的纸张,
所形成的纸张的特征在于,在第一纸张上抵接第二纸张,同时向该抵接部分施加超声波,使第二纸张的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张的纤维间,由此在无需热熔合的条件下进行接合而成所述纸张。
2.如权利要求1或2所述的纸张,其中,接合部分形成了图案。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的纸张,其中,接合部分基于JIS P8 142的75°光泽度为非接合部分的1.4倍以上。
4.一种纸张的接合方法,其是在不含有热熔合成分的第一纸张上接合不含有热熔合成分的第二纸张的方法,
该接合方法的特征在于,在第一纸张上抵接第二纸张,同时向该抵接部分施加超声波,使第二纸张的纤维机械性地嵌入到第一纸张的纤维间,由此在无需热熔合的条件下进行接合。
5.如权利要求4所述的纸张的接合方法,其中,所述抵接中的线性压力为0.5 kgg/cm~5.0kgf/cm,所述超声波的频率为17kHz~100kHz,所述超声波的振幅为10μm~100μm。
