技术领域
本发明一般涉及一种管理移动通信终端中的日程安排的方法,更具体地涉及一种管理移动通信终端中的冲突的日程安排的方法,通过该方法移动通信终端可以通知用户冲突的日程安排。
背景技术
最近,诸如蜂窝电话、个人通信系统(PCS)终端、IMT-2000终端和个人数字助理(PDA)终端的移动通信终端具有诸如消息发送和接收、无线因特网、警示、日程安排管理的额外提供的功能和语音通信功能。
已经通过在移动通信终端中安装个人信息管理系统(PIMS)来实现日程安排管理功能,其已经被用于常规的电子记事本(electric-note)和PDA。例如,用户使用菜单选择来执行PIMS,并且输入或编辑信息和日程安排以存储这些信息。此外,用户使用PIMS识别所存储的信息并获得必要数据。
这种日程安排管理功能必须能够被各种类型的用户便利地操作。日程安排管理功能在日程安排时间向用户警示诸如约会和叫早时间的设定时间,从而使得能够有效管理日常事件。常规的移动通信终端包括日程安排管理功能。因此,如果用户事先设定警示日程安排的时间,则移动通信终端适时地警示用户以提醒用户相应的日程安排。
然而,当用户输入新的日程安排时,冲突可能出现。即,当输入新日程安排时用户可能忘记先前存储的日程安排。于是,用户存储新日程安排而没有认识到新日程安排与先前存储的日程安排相冲突。因此,出现如下问题,即移动通信终端忽视冲突的日程安排并且登记被设置到日程安排时间的日程安排。
发明内容
于是,作出本发明以解决在现有技术中出现的上述问题,并且提供一种用于管理移动通信终端中的冲突的日程安排的方法是本发明的一个目的,当记录所述日程安排时其可以通知用户冲突的日程安排,从而适当地通知用户。
为了完成该目的,根据本发明,提供一种用于管理移动通信终端中的冲突的日程安排的方法,其包括:接收用户在日程安排管理模式中输入的日程安排,当用户完成新日程安排的设置时确定当前输入的新日程安排是否与已经存储的现有日程安排重叠,以及作为识别结果,当存在冲突的日程安排时,通知用户存在该冲突的日程安排。

此后,将参考附图详细描述本发明的优选实施例。贯穿附图,相同附图标记表示相同的结构元素。在本发明的下面描述中,为了清楚和简明,省略了这里包括的已知功能和配置的详细描述。
本发明实现用于管理移动通信终端中的冲突日程安排的功能。为了实施该功能,当用户在日程安排管理模式中记录他/她的日程安排时,本发明确定当前记录的日程安排是否与现有的日程安排冲突。如果存在冲突的日程安排,则本发明使得移动通信终端能够通知用户冲突的日程安排,从而用户可以认识到并调整冲突的日程安排。因此,本发明给用户提供便利功能。
图1图示根据本发明的移动通信终端的配置。
参考图1,根据本发明的移动通信终端包括控制器100、显示单元110、键输入单元120和存储器130。
控制器100执行移动通信终端的一般控制操作,并且实施控制如下所述的根据本发明的日程安排管理功能的操作。这里,日程安排管理功能是指用于显示日程安排并给用户提供警示以提醒用户诸如约会的事件的功能。日程安排管理功能已经应用于常规的移动通信终端中。
具体地,当用户选择日程安排管理功能时,根据本发明的控制器100进入日程管理模式并且使得显示单元110能够显示日程安排管理功能的附属项。即,显示单元100显示在其上用户记录他/她的日程安排的屏幕。用户可以通过日程安排设置屏幕来设置包括事件开始时间、事件结束时间、事件描述、警示功能和警示重复次数的警示信息。设置一天的日程安排的操作与常规的日程安排设置操作相同。
当用户完成日程安排设置时,控制器100将存储在存储器中的日程安排时间与当前输入的日程安排时间进行比较。具体地,控制器确定用户输入的包括事件开始时间和事件结束时间的日程安排是否与预先存储的日程安排冲突。如果该日程安排与先前存储的日程安排部分或完全冲突,则控制器100以弹出式窗口的形式通知用户冲突的日程安排,从而通知用户存在冲突的日程安排。即使先前记录的日程安排存在,移动通信终端也存储输入的事件信息,但是在弹出式窗口上输出关于现有的日程安排的信息。
尽管已经作为示例描述了用户输入的日程安排与现有的日程安排冲突,但是可以实现移动通信终端使得控制器确定该日程安排的描述是否与现有的日程安排的描述冲突。
显示单元110在控制器100的控制下接收并显示涉及来自键输入单元120的键输入数据的数据,或者以图标和字符的形式显示移动通信终端的操作状态和各种数据。当用户设置或执行必要功能时,显示单元110允许用户识别功能的设置或执行。具体地,显示单元110显示用于设置日程安排的屏幕,根据本发明如图3A所示地配置该屏幕。当存在冲突的日程安排时,显示单元110以弹出式窗口的形式显示通知存在冲突的日程安排的消息。
键输入单元120具有包括数字键的各种键,并且给控制器100提供用户输入的键输入数据。具体地,键输入单元120输出对应于每个键输入的键输入数据。将从键输入单元120输出的键输入数据传送到控制器100。控制器100确定键输入单元120的哪些键输入了该键输入数据,并执行对应于该键输入的操作。
此外,连接到控制器100的存储器130包括:例如,用于存储控制移动通信终端的操作所需的各种程序和信息的只读存储器(ROM),用于存储控制器100处理的各种数据和当控制器100实施移动通信终端的一般操作时输入和输出的数据的随机存取存储器(RAM),以及语音存储器。具体地,根据本发明的存储器130存储用于管理日程安排的控制程序和关于用户设置的日程安排的信息。例如,存储器130存储涉及事件开始时间、事件结束时间、日程安排描述、警示的音频输出和警示声的重复的警示信息。
图2图示根据本发明的用于管理移动通信终端中的冲突的日程安排的处理。
当用户选择日程安排管理模式时,在步骤200中控制器100使得显示单元110能够显示用于设置日程安排的屏幕,如图3A所示。在步骤210中,控制器100从用户接收关于期望的日程安排的信息,其对应于在屏幕上显示的日程安排管理菜单的每个附属项。图3A图示根据本发明的用于设置日程安排的屏幕,其中例如,用户选择涉及事件开始时间、事件结束时间、事件描述、警示设置和警示重复的警示设置菜单。
在步骤220中,控制器100确定用户是否完成日程安排的设置。具体地,控制器100确定用户是否作出了用于完成日程安排设置的键输入。例如,当用户按压键输入单元120的输入键时,控制器100确定用户完成输入对应于每个附属项的日程安排信息的操作。
接下来,在步骤230中,控制器100将存储在存储器130中的日程安排时间与当前输入的日程安排时间进行比较。即,控制器100确定在存储在存储器130中的日程安排列表中是否存在与当前输入的事件冲突的日程安排。例如,控制器100将现有的日程安排时间与当前输入的日程安排时间进行比较。在步骤240中控制器100基于识别结果确定是否存在冲突的日程安排时间。从事件开始时间或事件结束时间上看,如果现有的日程安排时间中的任何一个与当前输入的日程安排时间冲突或重叠,则控制器100确定存在冲突的日程安排。
当存在冲突的日程安排时间时,控制器100行进到步骤250以通知用户存在冲突的日程安排时间。此时,控制器100可以以如图3B所示的弹出式窗口形式输出警示消息。
图3B图示涉及冲突的日程安排的警示。如果存在冲突的日程安排,则移动通信终端显示先前存储的日程安排的描述,并且询问用户是否应该存储用户当前输入的信息。本发明使用日程安排警示功能通知用户存在冲突的日程安排,并且询问用户是否应该继续存储输入的日程安排,从而给用户提供改变当前输入的日程安排的机会。根据本发明,移动通信终端的控制器100以弹出式窗口的形式显示冲突的日程安排,从而通知用户冲突的日程安排,如图3B所示。可以将各种已知的用于提醒用户存在冲突的日程安排的方法应用于本发明。例如,移动通信终端的控制器100可以利用诸如嘟嘟声或振动的警示来通知用户冲突的日程安排。
在步骤260中,控制器100显示警示消息并且然后确定用户是否决定存储当前输入的日程安排。如果用户忽视冲突的日程安排决定存储当前输入的日程安排,则控制器100存储当前输入的日程安排。由于实际上用户可以作出双重约会,因此有可能存储输入的日程安排。然而,如果在步骤260中用.户决定不存储输入的日程安排,则控制器返回步骤200以给用户提供调整冲突的日程安排的机会。
此外,图3B图示通知用户存在与当前输入的日程安排冲突的日程安排的屏幕。如果用户决定继续进行或在预定时间内没有其它输入,则显示如图3C所示的屏幕。
图3C图示在完成日程安排的输入之后的日历。当用户完成日程安排的输入时,显示其中利用高亮或阴影突出涉及当前输入的日程安排的日期的日历。用户使用提示符选择日期。
图3D图示用于向用户提供日程安排管理的快捷界面的屏幕,其中以弹出式窗口的形式在图3C所示的日历屏幕上显示快捷菜单中的诸如编辑现有日程安排和添加新日程安排的一个快捷菜单。当用户已经完成记录如图3B所示的日程安排时,显示如图3D所示的屏幕以允许用户减少菜单之间的移动。图3D图示弹出式窗口,通过该弹出式窗口用户选择期望的日程安排管理菜单,而不是逐步地通过独立菜单来选择编辑现有的日程安排或新日程安排。
如上所述,本发明通知用户存在冲突的日程安排,从而允许用户选择调整冲突的日程安排的菜单。此外,本发明提醒用户先前存储的日程安排,从而给用户提供便利功能。
如上所述,本发明具有如下优点:即使用户不知道先前存储的所有日程安排,用户也能够调整或被通知得知冲突的日程安排,从而设置新日程安排。此外,由于本发明通知用户冲突的日程安排,有可能提高用户的便利性。
尽管已经参考本发明的特定优选实施例示出并描述了本发明,但是本领域技术人员应该理解:可以在其中作出形式上和细节上的各种改变,而不偏离由所附权利要求限定的本发明的精神和范围。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于管理移动通信终端中的冲突的日程安排的方法,该方法包括下列步骤:
接收用户在日程安排管理模式中新输入的日程安排;
当用户完成所述新输入的日程安排的设置时,确定所述新输入的日程安排是否与至少一个先前存储的日程安排冲突;以及
当确定冲突的日程安排时,以弹出式窗口通过显示询问用户是否要存储所述新输入的日程安排的消息来通知用户存在冲突的日程安排;
确定用户是否在所述消息中选择存储所述新输入的日程安排;以及
如果用户选择不存储所述新输入的日程安排,则用户重新输入另一日程安排。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述新输入的日程安排包括事件开始时间、事件结束时间、日程安排描述、警示输出和警示重复中的至少一个。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中确定是否存在冲突的日程安排包括:确定包括日程安排的事件开始时间和事件结束时间的日程安排时间是否与所述至少一个先前存储的日程安排的日程安排时间冲突。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中确定是否存在冲突的日程安排包括:确定输入的日程安排的描述是否与所述至少一个先前存储的日程安排的每一个的描述相同。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中当通知用户存在冲突的日程安排时,以所述弹出式窗口显示所述至少一个先前存储的日程安排中与新输入的日程安排冲突的一个日程安排的详细描述。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:如果用户选择存储所述新输入的日程安排,则存储所述新输入的日程安排。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,还包括:通知用户存在冲突的日程安排并显示其中突出涉及新输入的日程安排的日期的日历屏幕。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:以所述弹出式窗口在日历屏幕上显示用于编辑现有的日程安排和添加新日程安排的快捷菜单。
