本发明涉及可佩戴的成像装置,特别是数据收集和通信装置。
背景技术
可佩戴装置越来越常用于涉及数据收集和通信功能的领域。这样的装置用于例如条形码或者图像捕获、识别和认证,以及在诸如包裹定位和追踪的服务中,在这样的服务中包括了涉及到捕获得到的信息的数据传递。这样的装置能够被使用者佩戴在一个或多个手指上或者手上、手掌的正面或背面、手腕上或者前臂上。
该装置通常制作得尽量小且轻,并且通过诸如蓝牙的短程无线链路进行通信,例如与使用者携带的收发器进行通信,比如,携带在较大的腰带上;或者与例如附近的终端进行通信,诸如台式计算单元,其具有键盘和显示器以便用户输入和显示信息。
一种简单的已知的可佩戴装置,例如用于捕获并通信关于条形码或静态图像的数据,包括壳体或者主体,其包含:镜头、如成像器芯片的光学成像器、微处理器、短程无线发射机、天线、和电池。而且,通常在主体中还结合有指示灯,诸如LED(发光二极管),其用于指示成功的条形码或图像捕获和/或数据传输。该壳体或主体可包括用户可佩戴的带子,例如,设计成绕着用户的两个手指并被手指所携带。
出于人机工程学的因素,需要尽可能减小在上述类型的装置中的壳体或主体及其构件的重量。这是因为对于这样的装置来说,壳体和构件的重量通过装置的重心和到手指带的中心的距离起作用,形成杠杆力。在大概8到10小时的典型的操作者工时中,这样的力可能造成操作者疲劳,并且长期看,可能造成RSI(重复性拉伤)。
而且,指示灯的位置必须小心选择,以保证所有的使用模式下都易于看到该指示灯,并且这样的要求就可能需要使用多个灯,例如LED,伴随更大的能量消耗,因而增大了重量。
本发明的目的是提供一种用户可佩戴的成像装置,诸如数据收集和通信装置,其中克服了上述缺点。

具体实施方式
图1是已知的可佩戴成像装置1的透视图,该成像装置用于捕获兴趣物体的光学(可见的或红外的)图像,例如,带有要读取的条形码的一个包装或者产品。该装置具有主体3,该主体结合有(未示出)一个光学扫描和读取装置,电子处理电路、和RF发射器,用于将关于捕获的图像的信息发送到另外一个终端(例如,在使用者携带或在其它地方固定的单元中)。由光学扫描仪发出的辐射由光束5指出,其通过主体3的前表面9上的窗口/镜头单元7发出。顶面11结合有LED指示器13,用光来指示出图像的扫描和读取的正确操作。主体3及其内容物通过支撑在一个带子15上由用户携带。该带15弯曲以形成两个槽口17和19,用户的两个手指(未示出)穿过该槽口,从而将主体固定支撑在用户的手指上。
图2是体现本发明的可携带成像装置21的透视图。装置21的具有相同功能的各部分以与图1所示的相同的附图标记示出。在图2中,更清楚地示出了两个弯曲的凹陷23、25形成在主体3的下侧,以利于用户的手指容纳在主体3和带子15之间(它们在图1中的装置中也出现了)。在装置21中,主体3中没有LED指示器。相反,带子15被换成了类似形状的带子27。带子27结合有柔性的条带29,其起到光指示器的作用。条带29可以是由LED形成的柔性的细条。条带29具有与主体3内的电池(未示出)的连接部分(未示出)。
结合在柔性材料中的其他光源可以用来代替LED,例如,基于已知的发光技术,诸如EL(电致发光、OLED(有机LED)、和激光纤维)。
而且,可以使用几种不同颜色的光源,可以彼此并排或者交缠在一起,以产生若干不同的颜色指示,例如,指示与装置21有关的不同的操作状态。
而且,上述光源能够一起制造成处于带子材料中的单件,或者例如当使用纤维材料时,与带子材料编织在一起,这样它们以一体的、柔性的结构形成了带子和光指示器。
如图2所示的实施例用于戴在手指上的设备,但是相同的原理也可以同样应用于手腕、手掌、和前臂上的能够携带成像装置的带子。
本发明的如图2所示的装置及其替代实施例能够显示出如下优点中的一个或多个:
(i)在用户的手指或手上有较小的杠杆力,从而减小了RSI的危险以及在工作时间更加舒适。
(ii)由于带子的整个长度(或者其长度的主要部分)可以用来提供光指示器,所以用户漏看指示的机会就很小。
(iii)能够提供装置主体3的更好的密封,因为不需要如图1般提供用于LED指示器的孔或窗口。也提供了更坚固的壳体。
(iv)与点光源相比,发光的细条可以看作是更加用户友好的并且易于用户眼睛观察。
(V)因为其覆盖了更大的面积,可以使用更低水平的照明能量,从而节省了能源并且潜在地允许减小电池的重量和尺寸。

Claims (7)

1.一种可佩戴的成像装置,包括:成像器主体;连接于成像器主体的带子,该带子适用于配合于并佩戴于用户的手或手指;以及指示灯,用于指示该装置的操作功能,其中,指示灯结合在带子中。
2.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,带子由柔性材料制成。
3.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,指示灯包括柔性发光条带,在带子的一部分或者基本全部长度上,该条带形成在带子中。
4.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,指示灯由以下元件中的一种或多种形成:一个或多个发光二极管(LED);一个或多个电致发光装置;一个或多个有机发光二极管(OLED);以及一个或多个激光纤维或细丝。
5.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,该指示灯发出不同颜色的光。
6.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,该指示灯包括结合在编织结构中的柔性材料。
7.如权利要求6所述的装置,其中,该编织结构包括带子材料。
