技术领域
本发明涉及使用热熔性塑料、特别是聚乙烯制成的零件、例如用来在热工系统中输送流体的管子的焊接。
背景技术
热焊用来结合同样塑料制成的零件而不需要任何其它填充材料。该技术采用加热(器)工具提高要求联接的互补表面到预定温度,然后抽出加热工具并且使这些表面互相接触和压紧,以便使软化表面的熔化材料融合,从而在这些零件恢复到周围温度时使它们联接在一起。当正确地实施时,这样的焊接可提供非常高的强度,从而大体较佳于其它装配技术,例如采用粘合剂或中间连接零件。
这样热焊操作中使用的工具包括加热器部分,该部分与将要提高到其融解温度的塑料部分接触。加热器部分的形状与将要加热零件表面部分形状互补,因此对于这样的工具给予“镜面”的名词,并且对于用来实施的技术给予“镜面焊接”的名称。将要与塑料部分接触的加热器部分也必须具有不粘结在所述塑料部分上的特性,以便使其有可能从将要装配的零件上移去工具,而不至于取走构成零件部分的融化材料。
本发明更具体地说涉及镜面焊接管状零件,其中一个零件接合在另一个内部,各自具有互补的圆柱形接触表面,其尺寸使一个零件接合在另一个之内而装配在一起,然后通过使互补接触表面融化材料的融合而联接在一起。
为加热这样的零件,采用加热的镜面,其形状采用如此方式,使其可以完全接合在需要加热焊接的管子部分或零件之上或之中。这样,凸出形或凹入形的零件通过各自互补形状的工具加热,即各自为凸出或凹入形的工具,以便加热在接触表面区域部分上的材料。
对于圆柱形管子,这些工具因此为具有内部(凹入形)或外部(凸出形)加热器表面,各自能够与要求加热管子的外部(凸出形)或内部(凹入形)圆柱形端部接合。
这样的工具可以设计成为不但加热圆柱形表面,并且也可以用如此方式加热管子或肩部的端部,使其不但焊接管子的(圆柱形)周围之间的表面,而且也焊接其端部(平面)之间的表面。
应该注意,在应用加热镜面阶段中,必须保证管子端部或其它有关部分不升高到融解温度:只有表面必须融解,并且在这些表面以外未经控制的温度增加可导致零件形状的变化和导致零件削弱。材料因此必须完全融化但是仅限于零件有关的表面,此时迅速发生温度升高但是不超过要求的水平。
这些状况因此要求加热的镜面在单独阶段中施加在要求加热的整个表面上。当以适当小心程度实施时,这样的镜面焊接管状零件的技术可以在装配机械强度方面和长期稳定性方面获得极佳结果。
不过,这样的方法不能在某些构造中使用,所述构造可阻止加热的镜面施加在要求焊接表面整个区域上。要求焊接的外观表面,不论其为内部或外部,必须完全可以接近以便引入和应用加热的镜面。不幸地,在某些构造中,不能保证这样的可接近性:例如对于同心的管子,其中内管处于外管之中,或者对于联接器形式的零件,即为两个同轴的突出套管,或者实际上一个要求焊接的零件接合在另一个不能拆卸的零件中。
直到现在,这样特殊构造阻碍加热镜面的使用,使其必须采用另一种装配技术,例如采用粘合剂或中间连接零件,并且因此接受与这些技术相关的各种缺点。
本发明目的是通过提出一种新颖镜面焊接工具补救那些困难,该工具可以应用于具有受到限制的可接近(阻止使用传统加热镜面)加热表面的零件。
在传统方式中,本发明焊接工具包括具有凸出或凹入形非粘合加热周边表面的圆柱形加热器体,其形状对于要求加热零件的各自凹入或凸出形圆柱形接触表面互补,以便所述接触表面区域中材料获得可控制的融化。
发明内容
在具有本发明特征的方式中,加热器体包括轴向地延伸通过加热器体的中心孔,并且加热器体非单件式的元件,至少分解成为两部分,二者之间有轴向地沿加热器体整个长度延伸的间隙,并且径向地从中心开口到工具的周边表面。
间隙可以具体沿轴向平面、特别是沿直径平面延伸。
该工具有利地包括在一端铰接在一起并且在其另一端携带加热器体各自所述可分开部分之一的可活动分枝。
可能提供一种附加的非粘合加热器表面,该表面延伸在所述周边表面上并且其形状对要求加热的零件的肩部或端部表面互补。
此外,可以在中心开口内壁上或者近处放置热绝缘层。
最后,该工具还可以包括夹持器以便夹持要求加热的零件并且用与加热器体相似的方式设计,即作为非单件式的元件,具有轴向地延伸通过夹持器中心的通路,该夹持器又分成至少两个可分开部分,二者之间具有轴向地沿夹持器整个长度延伸的间隙,并且从中心通路径向地延伸到夹持器的外部。

具体实施方式
图1显示一组将要通过焊接而装配在一起的零件,包括连接头10和包括外管20及同轴内管30的双壁管子。通过例子,说明两个同轴管子使流体在相反方向循环流动,连接头10使流体在连接到不同管路中的同轴管子中各自往-返流动。
外管20具有对应于连接头10内部(凹入形)表面12的外部(凸出形)表面22。管子20的端面24设计成为可以与连接头10中互补的肩部14接触。
内管30具有可以与连接头10的中心套管40外表面(凸出形)42接合的内表面(凹入形)32。
管子20、30装配在连接头上的过程在于提高表面22、24和12、14到融化温度,以便装配管子20到连接头10上,以及同样提高表面32、42温度以便装配内管30到连接头10上。
采用传统工具时,这些焊接操作不能实现。如果内管30最初装配在连接头上,则不再有可能将凸出形加热镜面插入以便加热连接头的表面12,或者插入凹入形加热镜面以便加热外管20的表面22,因为已经焊接在连接头上的内管30的存在阻止工具接近所述表面以便应用互补形状的加热镜面。
为解决这一问题,本发明提出一种特殊的加热工具,使其可能解决由于内管30已经焊接到连接头10的中心套管40上以后构成的障碍。
该工具有两种形式,即各自显示在图2及3和图4及5的凸出形和凹入形。显示在图2及3中的工具100包括凸出形加热器体,其形状使其能够放置成接触连接头的内表面12,而图4及5显示的工具200包括凹入形加热器体,其形状使其能够放置成接触外管24的外表面22。

工具的处理过程如下。操作者打开夹钳的分枝106、108,使两可分开部分106、108放置在中心管子30(已经焊接在连接头10上)周围,而围绕中心管子,然后夹钳闭合而使内管30自由地处于中心开口104内部。操作者然后将加热器体102接合在连接头10的小孔内,使加热周边表面112沿其整个长度压紧在接触表面12上,然后操作者合上电阻器114,增加塑料的表面温度直到获得所要求的控制下的融解。
更精确地说,如图6所示,连接头10的壳体包括肩部14,加热器体102自由端的端面112邻接并压紧在该肩部上。电阻器114以如此方式放置,使其在端面112区域中提供加热以便不但在圆柱形区域12中获得连接头10材料的可控制融化,并且还在肩部14区域获得融化,以便在该区域中发生焊接,从而使最后的装配组件具有进一步提高的防漏紧密性和机械强度。
有利地,为避免已经定位并且焊接在连接头10上的内管30任何变形,在内管30和加热器体102之间中心小孔104中插入热绝缘层124。
用于加热外管20外表面的凹入形加热工具具有可以与以上描述的凸出形工具100比较的结构。
该工具200显示在图4和5中。更精确地说,它包括圆柱形加热器体202,其中具有中心孔204,其直径大于内管30的直径,以便在所述管子和工具200的加热器体202之间留出间隙。

工具的处理过程如下。操作者打开夹钳的分枝206、208,使两可分开部分206、208放置在中心管子30(已经焊接在连接头10上)周围,而围绕中心管子,然后夹钳闭合而使内管30自由地处于夹钳中心开口204内部。操作者然后将加热器体202以如此方式围绕管子20端部,使加热内周边表面212沿其整个长度压紧在接触表面22上,然后操作者合上电阻器214,增加塑料的表面温度直到获得所要求的控制下的融解。
更精确地说,如图7所示,加热器体202具有肩部222,管子20自由端的端面24邻接并压紧在该肩部上。电阻器214以如此方式放置,使其在肩部222区域中提供加热以便不但在圆柱形区域22中获得管子20材料的可控制融化,并且还在端面24区域同样获得融化,以便在该区域中发生焊接,从而使最后的装配组件具有进一步提高的防漏紧密性和机械强度。
最后,当必须将塑料制成的、并且具有很薄壁部的管子或零件焊接在一起时,为保证较高表面温度不致直接越过壁部传播而造成其变形,可以有利地提供一种互补的夹持工具。
夹持工具具有可以与以上描述的加热工具100或200比拟的结构,即具有可分开部分,其形状与要求夹持的零件互补,但没有任何加热元件。它位于连接头10周围或在管子20中,由于其适当的形状而可以精确地夹持零件。它被放置在适当的位置中并且在整个焊接操作过程中保持在位,即从加热开始到焊接在一起部分的最后冷却。此后,在完成其功能以后夹持工具被分开以便从组件上拆下并取走。
所有以上描述的操作可以手工执行,不过,它们也可以利用适当的机械系统自动或半自动实施,该系统可以本身是马达驱动并且可能由适合于发出适当序列指令的可编程序控制器控制。

Claims (6)

1.一种用于热熔性塑料、特别是聚乙烯制成的管状零件(10、20)的镜面焊接工具,被焊接的零件具有各自互补的圆柱形接触表面(12、22),该接触表面(12、22)的尺寸制成使零件通过一个接合在另一个之中而装配在一起,并且通过互补接触表面融化材料的融合而互相固定在一起;
焊接工具(100;200)包括具有凸出形或凹入形非粘合加热周边表面(112;212)的圆柱形加热器体(102;202),该加热周边表面(112;212)的形状分别与要求加热的零件的相应凹入形或凸出形圆柱形接触表面(12;22)互补,以便在所述接触表面区域中的材料获得受控制的融化;
该工具的特征在于,所述加热器体(102;202)包括轴向地延伸在加热器体任一侧的中心孔(104;204);和
加热器体(102;202)为非单件式的元件,其被再分成至少两个可分开部分(106、108;206;208),二者之间具有沿加热器体轴向整个长度延伸的间隙(110;210),并且径向地从中心开口延伸到工具周边表面。
2.如权利要求1所述的焊接工具,其特征在于,间隙(110;210)在轴向平面、特别是直径平面中延伸。
3.如权利要求1所述的焊接工具,其特征在于,还包括活动分枝(116、118;216、218),互相在一端(120;220)铰接,并且在各自另一端携带所述加热器体的可分开部分(106、108;206、208)。
4.如权利要求1所述的焊接工具,其特征在于,还包括附加的非粘合加热器表面(122;222),延伸在所述周边表面(112;212)上并且其形状与要求加热的零件(10;20)肩部(14)或端部表面(24)互补。
5.如权利要求1所述的焊接工具,其特征在于,还包括放置在或靠近中心开口(104)内壁的热绝缘层(124)。
6.如权利要求1所述的焊接工具,其特征在于,还包括用于夹持要求加热的零件的夹持器,并且其中夹持器为非单件式的元件,具有直接轴向地延伸通过夹持器的中心通路,并且夹持器被再分成至少两个可分开的部分,其中有间隙轴向地延伸在夹持器的整个长度上,和径向地从中心通路延伸到夹持器外侧。
