Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明基本涉及蠕动泵,更具体地说涉及在眼科手术装备中使用的蠕动泵。
背景技术
大多数现有技术中的蠕动泵的工作方式是使用旋转的辊头压缩或挤压一段长度(有时是在固定的滚道之间)的柔性管。当辊头旋转时,辊子夹断一部分管子并以旋转方向推动存于辊子之间的管子中的任何流体。蠕动泵由于其可预见的、恒定流动性能被广泛用于医学应用中。然而,这些现有技术的系统典型需要将泵管段围绕旋转的辊头手动连接。
现有技术的使用旋转辊头的蠕动泵还典型具有多余的压力脉动。针对这个问题已经研发了若干脉动衰减设备(例如,参见美国专利No.4,921,477(Davis))。
一些现有技术的盒子具有锥形泵管部分使得对管子的压缩更加逐步和突然性更小。例如参见美国专利No.6,293,926B1(Sorensen等人)。这种泵管的锥形有助于减少压力脉动,但是另外的减少是可预见的。
因此,仍然存在对减少压力脉动的蠕动泵的需要。
发明内容
本发明通过提供一种具有被粘合或机械附着到刚性基底的弹性材料片的盒子改进了现有技术的蠕动泵。流体通道被模制到刚性基底中,该刚性基底对应模制到弹性材料片中的流体通道。该盒子用于与具有泵头辊的蠕动泵结合使用,该泵头辊被安装到泵电机的旋转轴的径向以在运转期间抵靠刚性基底挤压弹性材料流动通道。流动通道被模制到刚性基底中,该刚性基底具有平滑的,没有尖锐边缘和突然方向改变的流体线路,并对应模制到弹性材料片中的流体通道以在其整个长度上提供约等于模制到刚性基底中的流动通道和模制到弹性材料片中的流体通道的横截面积的相对恒定横截面积的过渡区域,使得整个流体路径具有相对恒定的横截面积。
本发明的一个目的在于提供一种使用模制弹性材料流动通道的盒子。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种用于具有径向定向泵辊的蠕动泵的盒子。
本发明的又一目的在于提供一种用于具有泵辊的蠕动泵的盒子,该泵辊抵靠刚性基底挤压在盒子中的弹性材料流动通道。
本发明的还一目的在于提供一种具有模制到刚性基底中的流体通道、平滑的、没有尖锐边缘和突然方向改变的流体线路的流动通道的盒子。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种具有模制到刚性基底的流体通道、对应模制到弹性材料片的流体通道的流动通道以在其整个长度上提供具有相对恒定横截面的流动通道的盒子。
本发明的又一目的在于提供一种具有流体路径的盒子,该流体路径具有相对恒定的横截面积。

具体实施方式
如图1、2和3最佳可见,本发明的泵10基本包括泵电机12、包含一个或多个辊16的辊头14以及具有施加到相对刚性本体或基底22的外部的弹性材料片20的盒子18。泵电机12优选为步进或D.C.伺服电机。辊头14被连接到电机12的轴24使得电机12将辊头14在基本垂直于轴24的轴线25的平面中旋转,并且辊16的纵轴基本为轴24的轴线25的径向。
片20包含模制流体通道26,基底22包含模制流体通道27,这些通道在流体通道26与辊头14相遇的地点基本为弓形,该流体通道26具有与围绕轴24的辊16基本相同的半径。流体通道26和27流体连接泵入口28和泵出口30。片20可以由任何合适的柔性、易模制材料制造,例如硅橡胶或热塑弹性体。片20通过任何合适的技术,例如粘合、加热融合或机械卷曲附着或粘贴到基底22。基底22优选由相对片20刚性的材料制造,例如硬质热塑塑料,并且可以通过任何合适的方法,例如机加工或注模制造。
在使用中,盒子18被保持与辊头14紧密接近使得当辊头14旋转时辊16抵靠基底22挤压通道26。辊的纵轴被布置成使得辊16基本与通道26的平面平行地接触通道26。这种布置方式不需要将一段长度的柔性管在泵辊头上环绕,从而简化了泵通道26抵靠泵辊头14的负载。辊16可以沿着它们的轴线长度为锥形以适应当辊头14旋转时辊16的内部和外部部分行进的路径长度的差别。
如图4最佳可见,现有技术的蠕动泵具有连接到相对刚性的基底122的弹性材料片120,形成流体通道126。进入到流体通道126内的流体路径包括被模制到基底122的流体通道127。然而,流体通道127包含相对尖锐的拐角129和其它突然障碍(未示出),并且流体通道126的横截面积在倾斜或锥形部分131发生变化。这些特点可以使一些泵脉动进入被泵送的流体。
如图5最佳可见,本发明的基底22包含模制流体通道27,该流体通道为流体通道26提供了流体入口。通道26和27平滑弯曲并且相对不存在尖锐边缘和突然障碍。通道27的形状使其对应片20的倾斜或锥形部分31,从而在基底22和片20之间提供过渡流体通道区域34,该区域具有约等于通道26和27的横截面积的相对恒定的横截面积。换句话说,通道26和27和过渡流体通道区域34在盒子18中形成具有相对恒定横截面积的恒定流体通道。这种相对恒定的横截面积有助于当片20由辊16抵靠基底22挤压时防止产生脉动。

Claims (6)
1.一种外科盒,包括:
a)具有外部的本体;
b)附着到本体的相对柔性片,该片含有至少一个第一模制流体通道,该流体通道从本体的外部向外突出,并具有锥形部分;以及
c)在本体中形成的至少一个第二模制流体通道,该流体通道具有锥形部分以对应至少一个第一模制流体通道的锥形部分,以形成过渡流体通道区域,该过渡流体通道区域具有相对均匀的横截面积,
其中,过渡流体通道区域包括第一模制流体通道的锥形部分和第二模制流体通道的锥形部分;
其中所述过渡流体通道区域、所述第一模制流体通道和所述第二模制流体通道全部具有基本相同的均匀横截面积。
2.根据权利要求1的外科盒,其中至少一个第一模制流体通道和至少一个第二模制流体通道被流体连接到泵入口。
3.根据权利要求1的外科盒,其中至少一个第一模制流体通道和至少一个第二模制流体通道被流体连接到泵出口。
4.根据权利要求1的外科盒,其中该片包括柔性、易模制材料。
5.根据权利要求3的外科盒,其中该片包括硅橡胶或热塑弹性体。
6.根据权利要求1的外科盒,其中至少一个第一模制流体通道、至少一个第二模制流体通道和过渡流体通道区域包括具有相对恒定横截面积的流体路径。
