Abstract
本发明涉及一种水环境中的金属防腐方法,是一种通过在金属周围的水环境中添加活性碳纤维来降低溶液电势、调控溶解氧的金属防腐方法。利用活性炭纤维的吸附性能及氧化还原性能,将一定质量的大比表面积的活性炭纤维直接均匀投入金属周围的水环境,在处理温度10~30℃,水溶液的pH为5~8的条件下,每升水中活性炭纤维的投加量约为0.5g,即可通过溶液电势的降低,溶解氧的减少来达到防腐的效果。本发明方法简单,成本低廉,处理效果好,过程安全而不会对环境形成二次污染。适用于锅炉、中央空调等工业水循环系统的金属防腐。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种水环境中的金属防腐方法,是一种通过在金属周围的水环境中添加活性炭纤维来降低溶液电势、调控溶解氧的金属防腐方法,适用于锅炉、中央空调等工业水循环系统的金属防腐。
背景技术
金属的腐蚀,根据其反应特性,一般可分为化学腐蚀、生物化学腐蚀和电化学腐蚀。化学腐蚀是氧化剂直接与金属表面接触,发生化学反应而引起的。金属的生物化学腐蚀是由于各种微生物的生命活动引起的,例如某些微生物以金属为培养基,或者以其排泄物侵蚀金属。金属的电化学腐蚀是由于金属在水溶液中形成原电池,发生电化学反应而引起的。这种腐蚀现象最为普遍,造成的危害也最严重。金属的电化学腐蚀一般分为析氢腐蚀和吸氧腐蚀两种。
在潮湿的环境中,金属表面往往附着水分形成液膜,大气中的CO2、SO2等酸性气体溶解在液膜中,就会产生金属自溶解的腐蚀现象,也就是析氢腐蚀。如果溶液中还有O2,也可能发生氧的还原反应,亦即吸氧腐蚀:
金属则作为阳极被溶解。作为阴极,在接近中性的介质中,O2还原的电极电势高于H2析出的电极电势,因此有氧存在时腐蚀更加严重。
目前金属防腐蚀的方法主要有涂料保护、选择合适的金属或合金、改变介质性质和电化学保护等。涂料保护应用得较广泛,但对金属表面预处理的要求较高,如清洁度、粗糙度和活度等。选择合适的不易被腐蚀的金属或合金也是一种可以选择的方法,不过通常来讲成本会较高。改变介质的性质,主要是通过加入缓蚀剂,而缓蚀剂都有一定的使用范围和限制用量,且容易对环境和生态产生不良的影响,因此不是一种环境友好的方法。电化学保护法分为阳极保护法和阴极保护法两种。阴极保护法是通过在金属表面镀上金属涂层,如喷锌、喷铝等,要求金属涂层对被保护金属的附着能力好,因此这种方法对表面处理工艺的要求也较高,且一旦涂层损坏,不同的涂层将会产生不同的影响效果。还有一种阴极保护法是外加电流阴极保护,这需要耗费大量的保护电能,是极不经济的。阳极保护法是通过外加直流电源使被保护金属发生阳极极化,并进入钝化状态,阳极保护对金属钝化电势区的范围有一定的要求,且要求介质中卤离子的浓度较低,电能成本也是另外一个不利因素。
针对金属在有氧的情况下腐蚀更严重,而现行的防腐蚀方法都不能达到成本与效用的最优化,需要开发一种更为经济有效的防止金属腐蚀的方法。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于针对现有技术的不足,提供一种水环境中的金属防腐方法,操作简单,成本低,能有效防止水环境中的金属腐蚀,处理过程安全无害,不会对环境形成二次污染。
为实现这一目的,本发明通过在金属周围的水环境中添加活性炭纤维,利用活性炭纤维的吸附性能及氧化还原性能,有效降低水溶液电势、调控溶解氧,在低成本下方便有效地防止金属腐蚀。
本发明的方法具体为:
选取比表面积>500m2/g的活性炭纤维作为吸附剂,均匀投向金属周围的水环境中,每升水中活性炭纤维的投加量约为0.5g,达到最佳处理效果的条件是温度在10~30℃左右,水溶液的pH为5~8。
本发明向金属周围的水环境中均匀投加活性炭纤维,稳定一段时间后溶液的电势会得到有效降低,溶解氧会得到合理调控,可以有效防止水环境中金属的腐蚀。当溶液体系的温度低于65℃(在10~30℃条件下效果最佳),溶液pH=4~10(最好5~8)时,活性炭纤维通常能够有效地降低溶液的电势并有效地调控溶液中溶解氧的浓度。
本发明中所述的吸附剂也可以采用粉末状活性炭、颗粒状活性炭,但效果没有活性炭纤维明显。
本发明方法操作简单,使用方便,成本低,效果好,便于推广和应用。整个处理过程安全无害,不会对环境形成二次污染。
本发明对于工业水循环系统(如锅炉,中央空调系统等)的金属防腐有十分重要的作用。
具体实施方式
以下结合具体的实施例对本发明的技术方案作进一步的描述。
实施例1
称取100mg活性炭纤维3份,散开平放于盛有200ml、pH分别为4,7和10的自来水的烧杯中。
取6组铁片(每组5片)除锈抛光后,分组称重,取其中3组分别散放于上述3种水样中,另3组则分别放在未添加活性炭纤维的pH分别为4,7和10的200ml自来水中。
浸泡一周后将各组铁片取出,除锈称重。结果如表1。
结果表明,在中性条件下,加入活性炭纤维后,在pH4-10的广泛区间,铁片的静态腐蚀率有效地减少。

接着称取不同质量(分别为10mg、20mg、50mg、100mg)的活性炭纤维,分别添加到五份完全一样的200ml自来水中,待稳定1小时左右后,检测水溶液中的溶解氧浓度和水溶液的电势,并与不添加活性炭纤维的空白试验的结果对照。结果如表2。
结果表明,活性炭纤维的最佳投加量为100mg。

实施例2(铁片动态腐蚀)
(空白试验)取1组铁片(88-89g),除锈抛光后称重,进行动态腐蚀。1周后,取出铁片,表面除锈后再称重。
在动态腐蚀实验装置的过滤管中装入100mg活性炭纤维作为过滤材料,按照上述空白试验的步骤操作,并将结果与空白试验的结果对比,如表3。

从表3中可见,对比空白试验结果,发现活性炭纤维能有效减少约64%的腐蚀量。
结合相同添加剂条件下的静态试验结果可以发现,动态腐蚀条件下的防腐效果要远远优于静态腐蚀下的防腐效果。动态腐蚀条件与实际条件最接近,因而这说明了通过添加活性炭纤维,能有效降低溶液的电极电势,有效阻止水环境中金属的腐蚀。

1.一种水环境中的金属防腐方法,其特征在于选取比表面积>500m2/g的活性炭纤维作为吸附剂,均匀投向金属周围的水环境中,利用活性炭纤维的吸附性能及氧化还原性能,降低水溶液电势、调控溶解氧,处理温度为10~30℃,水溶液的pH为5~8,每升水中活性炭纤维的投加量为0.5g。
