Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso para la recuperación de uno o más metales objetivo, seleccionados de metales preciosos y metales calcófilos como se definen respectivamente en el presente documento, a partir de materiales que contienen metales preciosos y/o calcófilos, tal proceso incluye: (i) lixiviar el material que contiene metal con una solución acuosa que contiene: un "liberador de metales" que comprende un aminoácido; y un "retenedor de metal" que comprende uno o más de amoniaco, sales de amonio, ácidos carboxílicos, sales de ácidos carboxílicos, ácidos dicarboxilicos, sales de ácidos dicarboxílicos, ácidos hidroxicarboxílicos, sales de ácidos hidroxicarboxílicos, ácido etilendiaminotetraacético (EDTA) y sales de EDTA, producir un lixiviado que contenga el/los metal/es objetivo; y (ii) extraer el metal lixiviado.
