Abstract
Se describe un primer material filtrante para el tratamiento del agua que comprende un primer granulado que contiene carbonato de calcio, un segundo granulado que contiene óxido de magnesio, mientras el primero y el segundo granulado presentan cada uno independientemente una densidad aparente de 1,00 a 1,40 t/m3 , un segundo material filtrante para el tratamiento del agua que comprende del 55 al 85 % en peso de un primer granulado que contiene carbonato de calcio, del 15 al 45 % en peso de un segundo granulado que contiene óxido de magnesio, en cada caso basado en la suma de las cantidades del primero y del segundo granulado, un procedimiento para producir el material filtrante, un filtro que contiene el material filtrante, un uso del material filtrante para tratar el agua y un procedimiento de tratamiento del agua.
