Un sistema y un método para la elaboración de instrumentos musicales de cuerda, como violines, violas e instrumentos similares, que permite una disminución en la complejidad de los mecanismos convencionales y de los tiempos y costos involucrados en el proceso de elaboración. El sistema comprende: una placa de molde inferior que incluye una cavidad para alojar una cara inferior de la caja acústica del instrumento musical; una placa de molde superior que incluye una cavidad para alojar una cara superior de la caja acústica del instrumento; una placa intermedia que posee una perforación con la forma del contorno de las caras laterales de la caja acústica del instrumento, y que es complementaria y acoplable con las placas de molde superior e inferior, para permitir el acoplamiento y fijación de las distintas caras de la caja acústica del instrumento; y una pluralidad de elementos interiores de prensa que se disponen al interior de la perforación de la placa intermedia, en donde los elementos interiores de prensa son expansibles mediante un mecanismo de expansión para permitir la conformación de la curvatura de las caras laterales de la caja acústica.A system and a method for the elaboration of stringed musical instruments, such as violins, violas and similar instruments, which allows a reduction in the complexity of conventional mechanisms and the time and costs involved in the elaboration process.
