Abstract

La presente divulgación se refiere a la codificación y decodificación de video y, en particular, un método para la inter predicción para un bloque en un fotograma de una señal de video incluye: construir una lista de candidatos de información de movimiento basados en historial, en donde la lista es una lista ordenada que comprende N candidatos de información de movimiento basados en historial Hk que contiene información de movimiento de N bloques precedentes que preceden al bloque, en donde cada candidato de información de movimiento basado en historial comprende elementos: uno o más vectores de movimiento (MVs), uno o más índices de imagen de referencia correspondientes a los MVs, y un índice de filtro de interpolación; añadir uno o más candidatos de información de movimiento basados en historial de la lista de candidatos de información de movimiento basados en historial en una lista de candidatos de información de movimiento para el bloque; y derivar información de movimiento para el bloque en base a la lista de candidatos de información de movimiento. Por lo tanto, la herencia del índice de filtro de interpolación de medio píxel puede lograrse cuando se usa la lista de candidatos de información de movimiento basados en historial, por lo que se selecciona el filtro de interpolación apropiado en lugar del predeterminado que a su vez mejora la calidad de la señal de predicción y la eficiencia de codificación.
