SE DEFINEN FORMATOS DE ACCESO ALEATORIO (RA) PARA LA OPERACIÓN NB-IOT EN EL NODO TDD. LOS FORMATOS SE DEFINEN PARA PERMITIR EL USO DE LAS CONFIGURACIONES DE SUBTRAMA LTE HEREDADAS PARA TDD. LOS FORMATOS ESPECIFICAN UN NÚMERO P PAR PREDETERMINADO DE GRUPOS DE SÍMBOLOS QUE COMPONEN UN PREÁMBULO DE RA, EN DONDE CADA GRUPO DE SÍMBOLOS COMPRENDE UN PREFIJO CÍCLICO (CP) Y UN NÚMERO X DE SÍMBOLOS. LOS GRUPOS DE SÍMBOLOS P SE DIVIDEN EN CONJUNTOS DE GRUPOS DE SÍMBOLOS QUE SE AJUSTAN EN 1, O 2, O 3 SUBTRAMAS DE ENLACE ASCENDENTE CONTIGUAS, CADA UNO DE LOS CUALES COMPRENDE AL MENOS DOS GRUPOS DE SÍMBOLOS TRANSMITIDOS = CONSECUTIVAMENTE (ES DECIR, CONTIGUAMENTE EN EL TIEMPO), Y AL MENOS DOS CONJUNTOS DE GRUPOS DE LOS SÍMBOLOS SE TRANSMITEN DE MANERA NO CONTIGUA EN EL TIEMPO A TRAVÉS DE VARIAS SUBTRAMAS DE ENLACE ASCENDENTE EN LAS QUE SE TRANSMITE EL PREÁMBULO RA.
