Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método para la eliminación de residuos de la trituración y procesamiento de minerales. El método incluye los pasos de clasificar los residuos del procesamiento en una fracción de arenas permeables al agua y una fracción de relaves y depositar la fracción de relaves y la fracción de arena para formar una estructura multicapa contenida por al menos un muro de contención (14) donde la fracción de arena forma canales continuos (12) a través de la fracción de relaves (10) para dar lugar a que el agua contenida en los relaves y la arena fluyan por la gravedad, a través de los canales de arena, hacia puntos de descarga del agua (16), y recuperar el agua (18) de los puntos de descarga del agua.
