<p>La presente invención proporciona un proceso para formar una suspensión aglutinante, que comprende A) mezclar nanoplaquetas de grafeno halogenadas y uno o mas solventes polares para formar una suspensión de nanoplaquetas, y combinar la suspensión de nanoplaquetas y uno o más aglutinantes para formar una suspensión aglutinante; o B) combinar i) una suspensión de nanoplaquetas que comprende nanoplaquetas de grafeno halogenadas en un solvente polar con ii) uno o más aglutinantes para formar una suspensión aglutinante. Las nanoplaquetas de grafeno halogenadas comprenden capas de grafeno y están caracterizadas por tener, a excepción de los átomos de carbono que forman los perímetros de las capas de grafeno de las nanoplaquetas, (a) capas de grafeno que no poseen ningún elemento ni componente que no sea carbono sp2 y (b) capas de grafeno sustancialmente sin defectos, donde el contenido total de halógeno de las nanoplaquetas es de alrededorde 5% en peso o menor, calculado como brono y en función del peso total de las nanoplaquetas. </p>
