Abstract
<p>La presente tecnologia corresponde a una cepa poliploide de Haematococcus pluvialis depositada en el Banco Español de Algas (BEA) bajo el código de acceso BEA IDA 0064B, la cual posee un volumen celular 60% superior a la cepa base, tanto en estado vegetativo como en el enquistado, y además produce de 30 a 40% más astaxantina en peso seco, comparada con la cepa base. </p>
