Abstract

<p>La presente tecnologia corresponde a una cepa poliploide de Haematococcus pluvialis depositada en el Banco Español de Algas (BEA) bajo el código de acceso BEA IDA 0064B, la cual posee un volumen celular 60% superior a la cepa base, tanto en estado vegetativo como en el enquistado, y además produce de 30 a 40% más astaxantina en peso seco, comparada con la cepa base. </p><p> The present technology corresponds to a Haematococcus pluvialis polyploid strain deposited in the Spanish Algae Bank (BEA) under the access code BEA IDA 0064B, which has a cell volume 60% higher than the base strain, both in state vegetative as in the cyst, and also produces 30 to 40% more astaxanthin in dry weight, compared to the base strain. </p>
