Abstract
UN MÉTODO Y SISTEMA PARA ANALIZAR UN DOSEL DE UN ÁREA DE UN BOSQUE A PARTIR DE DATOS LIDAR, EL MÉTODO COMPRENDE ANALIZAR UN NÚMERO DE ALTURA DE PUNTO DE DATOS LIDAR PARA UBICAR UN PUNTO DE DATOS LIDAR QUE REPRESENTA LA PARTE SUPERIOR DE UN ÁRBOL; CUANTIFICAR UNA UNIFORMIDAD ESPACIAL BIDIMENSIONAL DE ALTURAS DE PUNTO DE DATOS LIDAR DENTRO DE UNA CUADRÍCULA ALREDEDOR DE UNA UBICACIÓN DEL PUNTO DE DATOS LIDAR QUE REPRESENTA LA COPA DEL ÁRBOL. DONDE CADA CUADRÍCULA INCLUYE UN NÚMERO DE CELDAS Y DONDE CADA CELDA ES MÁS PEQUEÑA QUE UN TAMAÑO ESPERADO DE LA CORONA DEL ÁRBOL; AJUSTAR UN TAMAÑO DE UNA PRIMERA APROXIMACIÓN DE UN ÁREA OCUPADA POR EL ÁRBOL EN BASE A LA UNIFORMIDAD ESPACIAL CUANTIFICADA DE LAS ALTURAS DE PUNTO DE DATOS LIDAR; Y DETERMINAR SI EXISTEN PUNTOS DE DATOS LIDAR ADICIONALES DENTRO DE LA PRIMERA APROXIMACIÓN DEL ÁREA OCUPADA POR EL ÁRBOL Y DE SER ASÍ, AGREGAR UN ÁREA ASOCIADA CON UNA RAMA, DE MODO QUE DICHA ÁREA DEL ÁRBOL SE PUEDA DETERMINAR A PARTIR DE LA PRIMERA APROXIMACIÓN Y EL ÁREA AGREGADA ASOCIADA CON LAS RAMAS.<br />
