La présente invention a pour objet un siège pliant portatif transformable, pouvant être utilisé soit comme siège élevé, soit comme siège bas sans pied avec dossier<B>à</B> inclinaison variable,<B>le</B> corps pouvant par conséquent prendre sur<B>ce</B> siège, selon sa transformation, différentes positions confor tables allant de la position assise normale<B>à</B> la position couchée.
Un siège pliant transformable et portatif dont les pieds postérieurs reliés par des en tretoises et formant châssis sont articulés sur l'arrière du siège et s'arcboutent contre son avant par l'intermédiaire de deux jambes de force articulées sur eux vers leurs bases et butant par leurs extrémités contre une partie de l'avant du siège; les pieds antérieurs étant fixés<B>à</B> articulation sur les jambes de force près de leurs extrémités butant contre l'avant du siège, l'inclinaison de ces pieds vers l'avant étant limitée par des butées aménagées sur les jambes de force;
les quatre pieds étant inclinés légèrement, leur partie inférieure venant vers l'avant, afin de permettre au siège de s'appuyer fortement sur les butées, sans pliage possible des pieds vers Parrière; ce dispositif ayant pour but de permettre la transformation de ce siège de hauteur normale en siège bas avec dossier, après pliage des pieds antérieurs entre les jambes de force, les pieds postérieurs ayant été, par pivotement autour de leurs articula tions, redressés<B>à</B> l'arrière du siège devenu bas et reposant sur le sol, de façon<B>à</B> ce que le châssis formé par ces pieds puisse servir de dossier, les jambes de force étant utilisées comme chevalet de soutien de ce dossier.
Le dessin annexé, donné<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, montre une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

Lorsque ce siège est transformé en siège bas (fig. 2), les pieds c redressés sur l'arrière du siège forment un dossier qui s<B>1</B> appuie sur les jambes<B>de</B> force<B>d</B> servant de chevalet, les pieds antérieurs h repliés entre les jambes de force<B>d</B> n'ayant aucune utilité dans ce cas.
Les pieds et jambes de foi-ce peuvent se replier les uns entre les autres comme il est montré (fig. <B>3).</B>
