Description

Hose for high pressures. The object of the invention is a pipe for high pressures comprising a double wall, the annular space formed between the two walls being intended to be filled with a liquid at reduced pressure, which makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the pipes. pipe walls.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section; Fig. 2 is a cross section along the line A-B of FIG. 1.

The pipe A comprises an interior wall e 'between which an annular space a is formed. This annular space a is connected to a pipe t.

This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the walls of the pipe because if it must for example withstand a high water pressure P and that one introduces into the space a, through the pipe t, </ I> water at a reduced pressure p , the pressure supported by the inner wall e will be p - p. According to the invention it is possible, with two distinctive sheets of normal thickness, to produce a pipe resistant to an internal pressure P which would normally have required the use of a single sheet of abnormal thickness, given the manufacturing tools that are practically available.

This arrangement is particularly advantageous for the establishment of water conduits. for high falls, but it is obvious that it can be applied to the realization of pipes having to withstand high pressures, other than those of water falls.
