Description

Electromagnetic device for protection against overloading electrical circuits, preferably for power consumption systems. In spite of the continuous improvements in the conventional fuses, they are still a constant source of interference, especially in the case of power incinerators. Non-experts often shy away from replacing spare parts that have become unusable; spare parts are often not at hand and cannot always be procured immediately; All fuses also have the great disadvantage that replacing the fuses is associated with considerable costs and a relatively large amount of time lost.

The present invention now allows the fuses used in power consumption systems to be replaced in a manner that eliminates the need for replacement plugs, cartridges or other spare parts. The device forming the subject of the invention automatically switches off the current when overloaded; it is switched on again in such a way that holding it in the switch-on position in the event of an overload is excluded.

A contact piece released by a pawl during the automatic disconnection only comes back into the switch-on position when it is switched on again by hand, in which it is latched again after the element causing its movement to be actuated by hand initially an associated second contact piece has pushed away that the main current remains uninterrupted as long as the manually operated member is not released again. The device is preferably set up in such a way that said member can also be used to switch off manually.

The switch can be built with one or more poles.

In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment is shown. The consumption flow flows via contact spring 1 through spring 2 through coil 3 to consumers 4.

The solid lines show the device in the on position. The spring 2 is held in this position by a stop on the lever 7 rotatably mounted at point 6. When overloaded, does the core of coil 3 love the lever? up and the feather? selinellt to the right, thus interrupting the Sirom circle.

To reinstall the pin 8 (-ntsprecliend isolated pin 8) is pressed, which has rWf-, i paragraphs.

As a result, the spring 1 is first pressed, then the? brought to diF # Linscha.ltstellung, where if. vcrl @ linlzt is.

After letting go of the pin 8, the spring 1 comes back and on. the spring 2? issue.

In order to unselialten by hand, the pin S is pulled to the right until the disc 9 sitting on it hits the nose of the lever 7 and lifts it, whereby dk, spring is released and swings to the right.
