Description
Elektrische Spule. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung be trifft elektrische Spulen mit hintereinander geschalteten Wicklungen, die auf einem ge meinsamen Kern übereinander liegen und aus Drähten von verschiedener Stärke bestehen. Es war bis jetzt bei derartigen Spulen üblich, die Wicklungen aus dickerem Draht an den Spulenkern und die dünneren Drähte um jene Wicklung zu legen. Da nun bekanntlich ein dünnerer Draht bei Stromdurchgang sich stärker erwärmt als ein in Serie mit jenem Draht geschalteter dickerer Draht, so voll zieht sich die Wärmeabgabe jener Spulen langsamer an den als Kühlfläche wirkenden Spulenkern, als wenn :die .dünneren, stärker erwärmten Drähte nächst dem Spulenkern liegen würden.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung liegen nun die Wicklungen aus dünnerem Draht ,dem Spulenkern näher als :die Wicklungen aus dickerem Draht, die ersteren liegen also zunächst dem Spulenkern. Durch diese An ordnung der Wicklungen wird eine ganz we sentliche Verminderung der Erwärmung der Spule bei Stromdurchgang erreicht.
Electric coil. The subject matter of the present invention applies to electrical coils with series-connected windings which are superimposed on a common core and consist of wires of different thicknesses. It has heretofore been customary in such coils to have the thicker wire windings attached to the core and the thinner wires around that winding. Since, as is well known, a thinner wire heats up more strongly when a current passes through it than a thicker wire connected in series with that wire, the heat emission of those coils is drawn more slowly to the coil core acting as a cooling surface than if: the thinner, more strongly heated wires next to the Coil core would lie.
According to the present invention, the windings made of thinner wire are closer to the coil core than: the windings made of thicker wire, so the former are first of all the coil core. With this arrangement of the windings, a very substantial reduction in the heating of the coil when the current passes through is achieved.
