Transportabler Formen-Trockenofen.
I>1,</I> in Luft getrieben.
Portable mold drying oven. The mold drying ovens hitherto in use have several significant shortcomings. For example, the combustion chamber is only accessible from above. If it is to be emptied, for example, to clean the grate, the entire contents of the furnace have to be brought up, which is very tedious and time-consuming and results in a long interruption in operation.
In addition, the walls of the known furnaces are heavily stressed due to the strong heating from the glowing fuel and air supply to the relatively very high fuel layer is only possible from below and therefore only to a limited extent and often inadequate, namely when the slagging has started.
These shortcomings are eliminated by the present invention. The firebox has a grate not only on the bottom, but also on the side walls. These grids can be combined in a single basket grate. Thanks to the side grids, it is possible to add air to the fuel from the side over the entire height of its layer. In addition, these grids form a protection for the walls located behind them. The firebox is accessible from the side, which makes it easy to empty and the grate to be cleaned well during operation. This grate arrangement guarantees correct coke burning.
In the drawing, an execution example of the subject invention is through. 1 to 3 in vertical section, shown in Be tenansicht and in plan. In the illustrated embodiment, a 'is the bottom grate, a2; a3 are side gratings accessible from below for the compressed air. The bottom grate a 'can be rotated around a horizontal pin c resting in a bearing <I> b </I> and is held in its normal horizontal position by a bolt d, which is accessible after oven doors e are opened.
For the purpose of emptying the oven one lets the grate a 'by pulling back the bolt d fall into the inclined position indicated in phantom in Fig. 1, whereupon all its contents can be easily and quickly removed through the openings otherwise closed by the oven doors e and the grate can be cleaned. This is possible at any time within 15 to 20 minutes, even within the operating time, in contrast to older ovens, where this work required up to three hours and only after the Oven contents could be made.
An electric fan drives <I> 1, </I> into the space underneath the floor grate and thus into the interior of the furnace. This air could also be taken from a compressed air line.
Between the bars of the grids a ', d, as indicated by arrows in FIG. 1, the air coming from below behind the grids can get into the fuel. This protects the walls behind it from overheating. As a result of the favorable air circulation and the corresponding grate construction, correct and complete combustion of the coke is achieved.
In the case of a conical or wedge-shaped design of the end of the bolt d lying under the grate d, it is possible to shake the grate a1 by moving it back and forth quickly. Both the latter and the side grids can be easily removed because they lie freely in their bearings and guides.
One or more slides are finely set into the wall of the furnace, which is placed on the furnace wall, in order to regulate the amount of the exhaust gases and thus to change the composition of the gas and air mixture as required. The emitted fire gases can be regulated as required for temperatures from <B> 150 '</B> to 450'. This would prevent the molds from burning under any circumstances.
Baffles <I> h </I> are built into the exhaust duct <I> g </I>, which hold back the fly ash, which also the latter. during operation by a respectively. several normally closed openings i arranged at the level of the baffles in the (outer) furnace wall can be removed. The fire gases emerge below: the baffles through an opening k.
The oven described can receive a rectangular, oval or cylindrical cross-section. The oven can also be used in a stationary arrangement, for. B. for heating drying chambers, core drying ovens, sand drying ovens, etc. The bottom grate and the side grids can be combined to form a single basket grate with an oval vertical section, for example.
