Elektromagnetisches Bewegungsgetriebe.
Soll eine gegenläufige Rollbewe- gung erzielt werden, dann wird die Schal tungsweise umgekehrt und die Trennung zwi schen den Laufbahnsegmenten nach den linksliegenden Elektromagneten hin verlegt. Die Bewegungsumkehr des Rollringes kann indessen jederzeit sogleich herbeigeführt wer den wenn die Trennung zwischen den Lauf bahnsegmenten mittwärts zwischen die Elek tromagneten verlegt wird und die elektri= scheu Leitungen zwischen den Klemmschrau ben der Magnete und den Magnetspulen in der zum Beispiel aus Fig. 45 ersichtlichen Weise mittelst eines vierpoligen Schalters verbunden werden;
Electromagnetic motion transmission. The invention relates to an electromagnetic table motion gear with two gear bodies, one of which, movable, rolls on the other, and it is characterized by the fact that the rolling contact of the movable union gear body on the second gear body progressively in the for the continuation gear the necessary sense of the rolling motion is brought about by electromagnets in such a way that the latter are excited in a sequence and manner leading to the continuous rolling and thereby bring their magnetic effect to secure the rolling motion of the rolling Ge gear body on this to advantage.
The drawings illustrate a number of examples of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows one of these examples schematically and serves to explain the movement conditions of the motion gear, while the other figures of the drawing show practical versions of various examples ver.
First, the movement conditions in such a transmission will be explained with reference to FIG. A ring A forming a gear body rolls under the influence of not shown, one after the other on the ring coming into effect coming electromagnets on the inside of a ring body or ring E forming the other gear body in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the same. The outer circumference of the ring A is smaller than the inner circumference of the Ringkör pers E, which forms the raceway for the ring A to roll.
As a result, a given point 1 of the outer order of the ring A, which is in contact at a given moment with a point 2 of the raceway on the inner circumference of the ring body, after rolling of the ring A, approximately in the direction of the clockwise movement , do not reach the same point 2 on the named track, but only point 3 behind, so that the ring A has rotated through the angle 4, namely in the opposite direction to the clockwise movement and according to the relative length ratio of the outer circumference of the ring A. and the inner circumference of the ring body E. The smaller the outer circumference of the ring A to the inner circumference of the ring body E, the greater the angle of rotation of the ring A about its axis during a rolling process.
If the ring body E is formed conically ver running at one end, the rela tive length ratio of the two tracks of the parts A, E and thus your own can by shifting the roller path plane of the ring A to the conical surfaces of the ring body E in the direction of the axis of the same Rotation speed of the ring around its axis can be reduced or increased.
In Fig. 1, the rolling ring A is within the leading rolling track. But it can also be arranged on the side of a leading ring track. Such a type is the example according to FIGS. 2, 2a, 3 and 4, from which an arrangement of the electromagnetic parts can also be seen; Fig. 2 is a Seitenan view, Fig. 3 is a cross section along the line x-x of Fig. 2, and Fig. 4 is a. End view of the example, while Fig. 2a shows the cross-sectional profile of the rolling ring of the same. The rolling ring A runs in an inclined position on the guide plate C, which is made of insulating material and is fitted with a horseshoe electromagnet B. The guide plate C is attached to the base plate D and provided with a sub-divided ring track E, on which the ring A rolls along in a tumbling motion.
The rolling wobble ring A is connected to the shaft F by the universal joint G, which is mounted on the one hand in an isolated central bearing c of the guide plate C and on the other hand in a hollow bearing screw H provided with a knob h, which is mounted in a Stand I screwed in nut sleeve H and fixed by means of a lock nut h4. The shaft F rests against the bearing screw H by means of the collar hê, which is adjustably fastened on it, and carries a cord washer N fastened to it by means of the auxiliary bushing h resting against the other end of the bearing screw H.
By turning the bearing screw H in the bushing M, the shaft F can be adjusted in the axial direction so that the universal joint G of the ring track E can be approached or removed from it.
The coils of the electromagnets B are supplied with current from some current source by means of the connecting terminals J. One of these terminals is connected by a con tact wire j to the shaft F electrically lei tend, while the other terminal J is ruled out through the wire pê to a ring conductor p common to all magnet coils.
The ring track E consists of non-magnetic material such. B. gun metal, and is divided into four, separated by an insulating air gap segments which are held by the slightly overlapping edge piece K of the guide plate C in place. The poles of one of the horseshoe electromagnets B are embedded in each of these segments, so that the magnetic poles are precisely aligned with the raceway of the rolling ring A. The core legs of the magnets are parallel to each other and placed perpendicular to the plate C.
The rolling and wobble ring A consists of soft iron and has the cross-sectional profile ersicht from Fig. 2a. Its head part a is wide enough to absorb the magnetic flux, while its web part aê accommodates the end pin g of the universal joint G in openings a.
By fully screwing back the screw H, the entire ring head a of the ring A can be applied against the raceway E of the guide plate C, while by screwing the screw H up to an extreme limit, the ring A can be set in various inclinations to the raceway E. If the wobble ring rests flat on the raceway, no movement occurs, if, on the other hand, the ring A is adjusted more or less obliquely to the raceway by pre-screwing the screw II, then the electromagnets B can act on the ring A in this way be that the ring A performs a tumbling and rolling movement along the sound path, and that the speed of rotation of the ring A will increase with the strength of its inclination.
The tumbling and rolling movement of the ring A can be brought about by means of the electromagnet B in the following way: The electric current used to excite the electromagnet runs from one of the terminals through the contact wire j to the shaft F, then through the universal joint G into the soft iron existing wobble ring A (or by flexible strips from the catfish to the ring collar a, if there is no uninterrupted electrical connection in the universal joint), then through the point of contact of the ring A on one of the segments of the raceway or guide track.
Assuming that in the de-energized state the ring A is in contact with the upper segment of the guideway, when the current is switched on, the current supplied to this segment in the specified manner is passed into the coils of the electromagnet belonging to the next segment (in Fig . 4 lying on the right) and this is so effectively excited that it attracts ring A and lets it roll onto the next segment, etc. for the next following electromagnets, which are effectively excited one after the other by the power supply from the segment touched by the ring who the, in each case the current from the segment touched by the ring through the respective magnetic core, from this at one of the nuts b to the coils of the next electromagnet and then from the same ben to the common return ring p is passed.
The winding circuit for the electric magnets for the successive energization of the same is illustrated by the diagrams of FIGS. 39 and 41. Each electromagnet has a winding with a smaller and a winding with a larger number of turns. According to Fig. 39, the electric current supplied by the rolling ring A excites the electromagnet bê by flowing through the weaker winding of this electromagnet, which is attached to the segment of the raceway E touched by the rolling ring A, as well as being more effective because the more winding Flowing through the winding, the electromagnet b, which causes the rolling ring A to continue rolling. The smaller coils of the electromagnet bê and the larger coils of the electromagnet b are connected in series.
The electromagnet bê favors the operation by holding the rolling ring A against the raceway under the action of its weaker winding, while the rolling ring is rolled over to the next segment by the action of the stronger winding of the electromagnet b.
The small coils on all electric magnets in the scheme of FIG. 40 also cause a counter holding of the rolling ring A against the raceway; they are all connected in series and are shunted to all rewind solenoids. In Fig. 41 the current from the rolling ring A only passes through the more powerful roll-off coils on the electromagnet, while the counter-holding coils are on the same together in a separate circuit. In all circuits according to FIGS. 39, 40 and 41, the rolling ring A is rolled to the right.
If a counter-rotating rolling movement is to be achieved, the switching mode is reversed and the separation between the track segments is moved towards the electromagnet on the left. The reversal of movement of the rolling ring can, however, be brought about immediately at any time if the separation between the track segments is moved in the middle between the electromagnets and the electrical cables between the clamping screws of the magnets and the magnet coils in the manner shown in Fig. 45, for example connected by means of a four-pole switch;
it. can, but also for this purpose according to FIG. 46 in the raceway a double segment subdivision between tween two successive electric magnets attached and a connection of the eight segments and magnetic coils to achieve the continuous rolling movement of the rolling ring A and to reverse the movement by a suitable four-pole switch (not shown) can be accomplished.
Between the segments of the raceway or between the electromagnets on the sen segments is useful to prevent the formation of sparks, a high resistance was turned on b4, as z. B. in Figs. 39 and 41 is indicated. Instead of this resistance, a capacitor b5 can also be used according to the model of FIG. 47, or it can also be used for the same purpose analogously to the circuit according to FIG. 40, except for the main current in the respective working electromagnet, a rectified secondary current through a The Nende auxiliary coil of the preceding electro magnet sent as a resistance, or this secondary current can be fed in the opposite direction to the main current to the electromagnet directly behind the working electromagnet to accelerate the demagnetization of that electromagnet, as shown in Fig. 42.
Instead of forming horseshoe electromagnets, all coil cores could be arranged on a closed circular ring to form a multi-pole electromagnet. In this case, for example, every second pole leg would be attached to one of the separation points between the four segments of the ge divided raceway F and all pole legs to be electrically isolated from the latter, as well as the segments themselves are electrically isolated from each other, like this the schematic Figures 43 and 44 is easy to understand. The current used for locomotion is then transferred from the rolling ring through the contact segment directly into the coils of the next pair of legs or poles (Fig. 43), while a strong secondary current, passed through a resistor, flows from segment to segment to prevent sparking becomes.
The excitation current can be direct or alternating current. When using three-phase current, three or a multiple of three electromagnets are arranged around the track and the winding of the electromagnets can be carried out in the manner of the circuits of FIGS. 48 and 49. In this case, the track need not be divided into segments, as with direct current or single-phase current, since a rotating field is excited by the three-phase winding. A multipolar electromagnet can be used to achieve the circuits, as is shown in the simplest form in the diagram of FIG.
If the wobble ring does not necessarily need to keep pace with the periodicity of the current, you can arrange six or another multiple of three electromagnets around the track, which is divided into six mutually insulated segments.
In all cases where alternating current is used, the rolling direction of the rolling or wobble ring can be reversed by means of a reversing switch, whereby in the case of three-phase current the position of only two phase conductors to the third phase conductor needs to be camouflaged.
It is also possible to use two rolling rings, one of which rolls on the other and this rolls along a plate, as shown at A and Aê in Figs. 5, 6 and 7, to achieve the same effects as those hereinafter with reference to the embodiment 20, 21 and 22 described to achieve. Since these rings are connected by flexible couplings with two axially aligned shafts, and each shaft with the ring is adjustable by a screw device similar to the length described earlier.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 to 13 there are two nested swash rings A, A2, of which the ring A is wider than the ring Aê, but which are arranged so that they work simultaneously on the same shaft and similarly the device of FIGS. 2 to 4 allow a change in the rotational speed of the shaft relative to the downward movement. The two rings A, Aê roll on the paired coaxially lying guide tracks from E, Eê, to which the two group electromagnets B belong, whose poles lie in the guide tracks E, Eê.
Here, in a pair of guideways E, Eê, there are only three effective segments 1, 2, 3 (Fig. 12 and 13) of the divided guideways between four (4, 5, 6, 7) of the six magnetic poles, which segments carry the current from one or the other of the rings A, Aê lead to the magnet coils, these segments are insulated from each other and from the rest of the guide plate, as well as from the four mentioned poles. In the other pair of guide tracks E, Eê, on which the rings A, Aê roll, the raceways are uninterrupted and the poles are not isolated from them and there is also no electrical connection between them and the pole coils.
A circuit diagram for the pole coils and the division of the raceways into segments 1, 2, 3,. . . are shown in Fig. 13, while the arrangement and configuration of the poles 4, 5, 6, 7,. . . from Fig. 12 can be seen. In Fig. 13, the pole arm designated by 5 of the one magnet group and the pole arm designated by b8 of the other magnet group is to be thought of lying at diametrically opposite locations on the raceways of the relevant plates.
The circuit of the magnet coils of the two groups is such that each ring of the two magnet groups is the same, but the ring A and the ring Aê on the same guide plate are influenced by two opposing magnets of the magnet group assigned to this plate by the current each is conducted through four magnet coils, namely two from the magnet group on the left in FIG. 8 and two from the magnet group on the right, each offset by 180 to the associated coil of the other group.
Since the swash rings A, Aê have different diameters, are linked together and the swash ring Aê is connected to the shaft F by a universal joint G, the inclination of the rings to the raceways on which they roll, and with it the ratio the diameter of a ring to the diameter of the raceway on which it rolls, be the same for both rings A, Aê. One also understands that the angle of inclination of one of the rings to the plane of its guideway can be changed by relative adjustment of one plate and the relevant magnet group to the other plate, which can be carried out by means of the guide rods f with the help of a screw device H, and that so that the angle of inclination of the other ring to its guideway changes in an analogous manner.
In this way, the speed of rotation of the shaft for the rolling movement of the rings A, Aê can be changed. When the plates are moved as close as possible to one another, the ring A will come into contact with both ends of the entire circumference with the guideways E and the ring Aê at both edges all around with the guideways Eê.
Understandably, more than two nested wobble rings with any number of magnetic poles could be used.
Between the wobble rings A, Aê \ be there is an intermediate ring Q, which can be made of metal or non-metallic material. This intermediate ring is mounted at the ends of a diameter by pin g on the wobble ring A and at the ends of another, perpendicular to the first diameter by pin gê on the wobble ring Aê, which in turn is verbun through the universal joint G to the shaft F. By virtue of these precautions, each wobble ring can perform an oscillating movement independently of the other.
The electrical current can flow into the swash rings from the undivided guide way, if. the intermediate ring Q is made of non-metallic material, or from the shaft, if this ring is made of metal, is introduced.
Other gear designs are shown in Figures 14-19, Figure 14 being a side view of one of these designs with half-section and the track E, one of the twelve electromagnets B whose pole legs are attached to the plate p, the iron swash ring A or steel and the universal joint G attached to the vertical shaft F shows. FIG. 15 is half an end view from one end, half one seen from the other end; Fig. 16 shows a modification with respect to the position of the universal joint G to the contact plane of the wobble ring A; Fig.
17 shows on a larger scale the contact running of the wobble ring on the raceway E, while Fig. 18 shows a side view of a fragment of toothed rings a6, e, which surrounds the wobble ring A and the raceway E to maintain the correct ratio between the rolling movement and the shaft rotation speed are shown.
Magnetic locomotion pulses who the successively on the swash ring A from exercised. This is made possible by three power lines that go from a transmitter, and by a common return conductor. These three power lines and the twelve solenoid coils are indicated in the diagram of FIG.
The magnetic impulses can be achieved by passing the current through the first of the three current lines one after the other by means of the transmitter, then through the first and the second, then through the second, then through the second and the third at the same time through the third and finally at the same time through the third and first, where the various pole coils are wound in such a way that their effects on ring A are expressed either in terms of magnetic attraction or in terms of magnetic repulsion , in the way, as it is necessary for the uninterrupted progress of the tumbling movement of the ring. The Tau melring A is shown in Fig. 19 in a position in which is located when the current passes through the first and second power lines.
In this position, a pole coil fed by the first power line will act on the ring in the sense of a repulsion, a pole coil fed by the second power line in the sense of an attraction.
The transmission can also serve as a connection between two shafts, on one of which the organ is arranged with the guide track on which the ring rolls, the latter being connected to the other shaft by a flexible intermediate member. If the first shaft is held, the second shaft receives a rotary movement, similar to that described above. If, on the other hand, the first shaft receives its own rotational movement in the same sense as the second shaft, then this second shaft will execute a rotational movement that is composed of the original movement imparted independently to the first shaft and the rotational movement of the second shaft relative to the first shaft.
If the first wave is given the independent original movement in the opposite sense to the rotational movement of the second shaft, the speed of the second wave will result from the difference between the two above-mentioned wave speeds. Since the first wave can be given the original motion in one sense or the other, and since, under certain conditions, the second wave can also be made to rotate in one sense or the other, while the first wave is fixed, one can bring about any desired change in speed and reversal of motion, and the gearbox thus plays the role of a speed change gearbox between two shafts.
The same purpose of changing the speed can also be achieved without arranging the guide track on a shaft, as is possible, for example, according to FIGS. 20, 21 and 22. Here one uses a hollow cone a7 rolling on the fixed ring path E and a ring a8 rolling in the cone a7, which is connected to a shaft fê by a flexible connection, while the hollow cone a7 is connected to the other shaft f by a flexible connection is coupled.
These waves are in the same axial alignment, but are longitudinally displaceable to each other, so that by axial movement of the cone a7 to the fixed ring path E, while the rolling ring a8 remains in position in the axial direction, the cone a7 is adjusted in the radial direction and a reduction in size or an increase in the eccentricity between the rolling ring a8 and the cone a7 is brought about.
20 and 22 show an outermost longitudinal position for the rolling ring a8 in the cone a7, wherein the periphery of the cone a7 is in all-round contact with the inner periphery of the fixed ring track E, in which the poles of the electromagnets B are located. As a result, the ring a8, which is stuck on a cone a9, which is connected to the shaft fê at its top by a flexible means r, can roll off, but that rotational movement is not transferred to the shaft f. Fig. 21 shows the other outer ste longitudinal position of the rolling cone a7. In this position, the rolling cone a7 surrounds the rolling ring a8 and therefore couples the two shafts fê, f with one another so that they have the same rotational speed.
The flexible connection of the rolling cone a7 with the shaft f and of the cone a9 carrying the ring a8 with the shaft fê is made by means of the short pieces of rubber tubing r, which are pushed firmly onto the end extensions rê of the said cones and onto the fixed collar rings s of the shafts ; but coil springs and the like could also be used for this purpose.
The longitudinal movement of the rolling cone a7 can be brought about by means similar to those described with Be train in FIG. 23 to 26 illustrate an embodiment in which the magnetic effects are supported by mechanical means. Fig. 23 is a longitudinal section of the transmission, and Fig. 24 is a cross section along line x5-x5 of Fig. 23 (omitting the electromagnet B), while Figs. 25 and 26 show details of a clutch.
A clutch disc t is attached to one end of the shaft f4 of a high-speed motor and has a dovetail groove along a diameter for receiving a slide t3 carrying a pin t4. At one end of this groove there is a stop t5. The slide t3 takes part in the rotary movement of the disk t and the shaft f4.
A wheel A is loosely seated on the pin t4 and is provided on the circumference with an annular bead shown in FIG. Between the slide t3 and the stop t5, a spring t6 is switched on, which seeks to push the slide t3 away from the axis of the shaft f4 outwards, but still allows the slide t3 in the groove inwards to the center of the disc to push. The wheel A is in contact with the inside of the cone E, which is provided with a cylindrical sleeve e2 with thread, which is screwed into the stand I on the base plate D and with its axis in the extension of the axis of the shaft f4. The cone E can accordingly be shifted lengthways by screwing it back and forth by means of the handle ring h and can be locked in its respective position with a clamping screw h4.
The longitudinal displacement of the cone E is expressed on wheel A in such a way that the slide t3 is moved in the groove t2 of the clutch disc. The extreme length shift of the cone E in one direction brings the center of the wheel A into the axial alignment of the motor shaft f ', so that the wheel A makes contact with the inside of the cone E over its entire circumference . Moving the cone E in the other direction allows the spring t6 to push the slide t3 outwards and thus to set the wheel A away from the axis of the shaft f4 so that it can rotate on the pin t4.
Since the hub of the wheel A is connected by two universal joints G and a connecting rod f5 to a shaft f6 lying in the axial alignment of the shaft f4, the rotational movement is transmitted from the wheel A to the shaft f6.
This gear works as follows: The cone E is first screwed against the motor shaft f4 until the center of the roller wheel A falls into the axis of the motor shaft and the cone. In this position, the wheel A cannot rotate because it is in contact with the fixed cone E all around, but the pin t4 on the slide t3 can rotate in the wheel A with the speed of the motor shaft. Since the wheel A does not rotate, the shaft f6 with which it is connected by the universal joints G does not rotate either. In this end position of the parts, the motor shaft runs at high speed, but does not transfer any movement to shaft f6.
If the cone E is screwed back away from the motor, the wheel A is pushed outwards by the spring t6 and its center is described in a small circle around the axis of the shaft f4, with the same number of revolutions per unit of time as the shaft f4 , and the wheel A can now roll freely on the inside of the cone E, against which it is pressed by the spring t6. When the wheel A rolls along the inside of the cone E, a point of contact between the wheel and the cone does not come to the same place in the cone after the wheel has rolled, but remains slightly behind it, by an amount equal to the difference between the Peripheries depends.
The wheel and thus also shaft f6 has therefore rotated around its own axis by an angle in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the motor shaft, while the motor shaft f4 has turned once. If the cone E is still screwed back away from the motor, the rotational speed of the shaft f6 can be increased up to a certain maximum value.
The spring t6 supports in a certain way the electromagnets B (Fig. 23), which are arranged on the outer circumference of the cone E and are excited in such a way that, in harmony with the rotation of f4, they one after the other the roller wheel A against the inside of the cone. The wheel A consists of course of soft iron and the cone E of non-magnetic material. The excitation current can be fed to the electromagnet B by means of a commutator seated on the high-speed motor shaft, or the cone E can be divided into segments and the wheel A rolling on the inside of the cone can be used to control the current flow. In both cases, the magnetic poles are elongated in the direction of the surface lines of the cone.
Similar effects can be achieved with the embodiment according to FIGS. 27 to 31. As is best shown in FIG. 27, here the rolling or wobble ring A has several arms u which end in a common ball head u2. The guide plate E, along which the ring A rolls and to which the dotted electromagnets B are attached, the screw device H for changing the angle of inclination of the rolling ring A and the grooved coupling disk t attached to the high-speed motor shaft f 'in an inclined position show a type described above. Fig. 28 shows the back of the guide plate E with the electric magnets; Fig. 29 is an overall cross section along line x1-x1; FIG. 30 is a partial cross section along line x2-x2, and FIG. 31 is a partial cross section along line x3-x3 of FIG. 27.
This transmission operates like that shown in FIGS. 23-26. Here, to change the speed of the driven shaft, it is adjusted together with the ring A by means of the screwing device H.
Designs are also conceivable in which several wheels, one behind, one behind the other, on the circular one. Can roll along the guideway, with all these wheels at the same distance from each other and each arranged on a special axis and depending on these axes can form the spokes of a wheel that is attached to a shaft perpendicular to the Füh approximate path, so that when the rolling wheels umlau fen, the latter shaft is set in rotation. Such an embodiment can be realized according to FIGS. 32 to 35, where FIG. 32 shows a side view, FIG. 33 shows a cross section along line x4-x4 of FIG. 32, FIG. 34 shows a front view, and FIG. 35 shows a special view of a represents the wheels A2.
The speed of rotation of the shaft is related to the speed of rotation of the roller wheels A2 about its axis like the diameter of the roller wheels to the diameter of the circular guide path on which they roll. Each of the roller wheels A2 is loosely supported by an axle which is connected by a joint G to a connector attached to the shaft F. The shaft F can be adjusted to change the speed by longitudinal displacement by means of the screw H, so that the inclination angle of these rolling wheels to the guide track E, as indicated in dotted lines, can be changed. One end of the shaft carries a head piece C2 which is firmly seated on it and to which flat springs c3 are fastened, which press against the axis of the rolling wheels A2.
In Fig. 36, 37 and 38 devices are shown, the construction and operation of which can easily be derived from the above explanations. 36 shows a wobble ring rolling between two guide tracks with special electromagnets; 37 shows an embodiment with two outwardly turned guide tracks and two rolling rings rolling thereon on a shaft, as well as with electromagnets common to the two guide tracks; Fig. 38 shows a series of rolling rings on a shaft, each of which rolls along a special guide track provided with electromagnets.
In all of these examples, the strength of the inclination of the wobble or rolling rings can be changed by means of a screw device for the purpose of speed control.
In the examples where the electrical current is fed from the rolling ring or rolling ring through the contact point of the same to the guide track and from here to the magnet coils, one gains the advantage that the power supply has no friction loss, as is the case with brushing the collector Case is.
