Description
Process for the preparation of a strong detergent. The invention relates to the production of a liquid detergent containing ultramarine, which at the same time has a cleaning, bluing, bleaching and disinfecting effect, retains its effectiveness even in hard water and gives the laundry its original mild silver shine again. Furthermore, the agent prevents the laundry from yellowing when lying in the closet and the known laundry smell that occurs.
The preparation of the agent is done in such a way that ultramarine, respectively, by heating with water and filtering through asbestos of coarser proportions. freed from impurities and then intimately mixed with borax, water glass, tungsten acid soda, turpentine oil, formalin and alcohol dissolved in hydrogen peroxide solution. The mixture is then heated to 50 " in the pressure vessel and then thoroughly mixed again.
Example: 40 kg Ultramarine are heated to 38 0 , mixed with 8 kg water at the same temperature that Maintain the mixture for some time at 65 0 or a higher temperature and filter through an asbestos filter. The filtrate is now mixed in a mixing drum with 10 kg borax, which is dissolved in 2.18 kg 1 % hydrogen peroxide solution, for about ten minutes; furthermore, ten minutes of mixing time are added in the following series with each :
10 kg turpentine, 18 kg spirit, 8 kg water glass from 38-400 volumes, 2 kg tungsten Sour baking soda and 2 kg formalin.
The mixture is then heated in a closed kettle to 500 for a period of at least 25 minutes. Finally, the mass is mixed again in the drum at the highest speed of the agitator, in order to obtain the mass in the form of a durable, extremely free suspension.
