<tb> of these <SEP> pairs of bars <SEP> with <SEP> the <SEP> associated <SEP> should be <SEP> present. <SEP> 7a <SEP> is
<tb> the <SEP> Stininistoclz. <SEP> The same <SEP> consists of <SEP> on the <SEP> one

<tb> the <SEP> ends <SEP> of the <SEP> st.an-enförniigen <SEP> part <SEP> -e articulated <SEP> are connected <SEP>. <SEP> This <SEP> sound post
<tb> <SEP> cannot <SEP> itself. <SEP> - like <SEP> a <SEP> ordinary <SEP> voice prick <SEP> on <SEP> place the <SEP> edge <SEP>, <SEP> but <SEP> he <SEP> sits:
<tb> ilt <SEP>, every <SEP> position <SEP> with <SEP> the <SEP>, .the whole <SEP> outer face of the washers on the floor and the ceiling. which ensures a perfect transmission of the vibrations from the ceiling to the floor and also prevents a so-called.
a and b are two set screws threaded into the frame. The same serve to exert a pressure on the bars c and d. in order to transfer this to the ceiling and thereby to keep the body under tension. The silk cord connection between the bars c and <I> d </I> on the one hand and the balls e and <I> f </I> on the other creates a counter-tension through which the Gier sound post is pressed against the floor and ceiling .
By turning the screws a and b, and the screws g and h, the tension of the body from the outside and inside can be regulated and brought into a desired ratio to the tension of the strings. in order to achieve the intended improvement in the tone.
