Description

Rost an elektrischen Öfen.

Rust on electric ovens. The present invention is a grate for electric furnaces for melting electrically conductive material with. two electrodes. With ovens of this type, which are provided with a grate made of metal rods, it can happen that - the current takes its way through the rods and is not fully used to heat the material to be narrowed.

The purpose of the present invention is to remedy this disadvantage, and this is done in that the grate is arranged and shaped with respect to the electrodes in such a way that it offers poor conduction to the current.

The following drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a grate with rotatable grate bars in vertical section, FIG. 2 shows the grate. in view.

Fig. 3 shows the end of a grate bar with associated bearing.

The drawn rust. has parallel grate bars i, which like 5 are rotatably mounted in La. Bearings 5 are connected by means of screws: 7 to a track 2 made of [) -iron, namely is. between the. Bearing 5 and the frame 2 and between a washer - ', and your frame 2 insulating material inserted.

The rooms 1 are electrically insulated from one another in the frame 2, they are at right angles to a vertical plane laid through the two electrodes. The grate bars 1. have an interruption point near the ends:

However, they can also be touched by a frame made of electrically non-conductive material. Between the end flanges of the grate chamber 1 and the end pieces 4 is an electrically insulated intermediate layer 3 an.eorcln.et, which can be held between the flanges, for example, by insulated screws (not shown in the drawing) between the flanges.

To facilitate the movement of the material falling through the grate, the bars are with. Tips. The arrangement perpendicular to the plane through the electrodes and the attachment of insulating intermediate lavas make it difficult for the current to pass over the grate bars, and all of the current energy is used to heat the oil to be melted.
