Process for the production of gears. The present invention relates to a method for producing gears, both cylindrical and conical gears finitely straight or inclined teeth, in which the two tooth flanks of each tooth, in the width direction, in opposite directions with respect to the in the The central plane of the tooth running in the right direction is curved.
The purpose of this known lirüminung the tooth flanks is to reduce the risk of tooth breakage, even with incorrect assembly of two cooperating gears with such curved tooth flanks the load pressure on the teeth mainly in the center or near the center of the tooth width and not on one of the The ends of the Zliline will attack, where the resistance is the smallest and therefore the greatest risk of tooth breakage.
The method according to the present invention aims to make the production of such gearwheels as simple as possible and at the same time to achieve an ideal tooth shape, so that the entry in front of it>,
goes and the corridor becomes noisy and free. For this purpose, the gear wheels are manufactured according to the invention using the generating process.
The machining is effected here by means of two rotating cutting or grinding tools, the axes of which form an angle to one another and the working surfaces of which are conical.
Examples for carrying out the method according to the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

<tb> the <SEP> near <SEP> arn <SEP> Za <SEP> lir <SEP> summit <SEP> located <SEP> part <SEP> of the tooth flank, is smaller than z.
B. the radius RL of that part of the conical working surface that forms the part of the tooth flank located near the tooth gap bottom, it is evident that the tooth flank, calculated in the width direction, receives a gradually decreasing curvature from the tooth top against the tooth vein .
As a result, the width of the tooth engagement will gradually increase when rolling against the tooth root and gradually increasing when rolling against the top of the tooth ailnelnil <: ri. so that the procedure goes smoothly. and the corridor becomes noiseless and shock-free.
The production of fully bevel gears can be carried out in a manner analogous to the method described above. However, the tools 2 and 3 do not move in a straight line here at, but rather receive a movement that is oscillating in relation to the wheel workpiece and the axis of the imaginary generating wheel.
As shown in Fig. 2 it, the conical working surfaces b and tr turn their tips against each other and as a result, the generated tooth flanks 10 and 11 receive convex U-shape, as shown in Fig. 3] -st. If, on the other hand, the work surfaces are laid in such a way that the tips turn away from each other,
In this way, ela @ generated tooth flanks have a concave shape. A rapid such tooth forirt is shown in Fig. 4. The tooth sides 11) and 11 are here concave and svrrineti-iseh with respect to the central plane 12 of the tooth running in the width direction.
A gear with teeth according to FIG. 1 can work together under circumstances with a gear with finite teeth according to FIG. If desired, the curvature of the convex tooth flank (Fig. 3) can be selected to be larger than that of the concave tooth flank (Fig. 4),
whereby the meshing occurs initially in the center or near the center of the teeth.
The invention includes, jvie already mentioned, both the production of fully cylin drischen. as well as square gears with straight or angled teeth, which also include so-called arrow wheels.
