Two-stroke internal combustion engine for liquid fuel. The present invention is a two-stroke internal combustion engine for liquid fuel, in which the crank case serves as a charge pump. According to the invention, the fuel is mixed with air from the crankcase into the cylinder chamber and afterwards clean air is topped up so that the transfer of the fuel mixture takes place under the highest pressure of the air flowing over from the crankcase to the combustion chamber, wherein a deflector is provided on the piston for the mixture and air.
The subject matter of the present invention is shown schematically in an exemplary embodiment in the following drawing, namely, FIGS. 1 and 2 show longitudinal sections through the internal combustion engine, which are normalized to one another.
In the cylinder 17, the piston 1 is arranged, the box with the crank 12 in the crank 2 means of the connecting rod 11 is connected ver. The channels 4 and b adjoin the crankcase and, in the lowest piston position, connect the cylinder chamber 3 to the crankcase 2 through the slots 7 and 7. The deflector 13 is located on the piston and directs the incoming air and the mixture upwards. The slots 10 and 10, which let the exhaust pipe into the open, reach higher than the slots 7 and B. The fuel nozzle 6 protrudes into the slot 7.
on which by means of a fuel pump, not shown, immediately after the slot 7 has been uncovered, fuel is injected into the air passing by. The slot 7 extends higher than slot B. The spark plug 14 is attached to the cylinder and serves to ignite the compressed mixture at the highest piston position. At the highest piston position, the slots 15 and 16 connect the crankcase with the atmosphere.
The engine works as follows: After ignition has taken place at the highest piston position, the piston 1 is driven downwards and as soon as it releases the exhaust slots 9 and 10, the high-tension exhaust gases escape into the open. If the piston now goes further down, it releases the slot 7, which allows pure air to enter from the crankcase 12
