Description
Binder that can be used for the production of molded parts and a process for its production. The invention relates to a for the production of fittings such. B. briquettes ver usable binder and a process for its production. This binding agent contains a calcium compound and water glass and has the advantage over other binding agents that it does not disintegrate in a fire.
The process for producing this binder is based on the fact that a calcium compound, e.g. B. quick lime with water glass and water intimately mixed.
Gas water containing tar can be used instead of pure water and a little soot can be added to the mixture so that the lime in the briquette mass produced with the binding agent does not shimmer through white.
For the production of the binding agent, for example, the following procedure can be used: 5-10 parts by weight of fat, -burnt, unslaked lime are doubled. Weight amount of water extinguished and then with 2 = 5 parts by weight of 36 percent sodium hydroxide solution and 2-6 parts by weight 40-50 percent CTaS water - intimately mixed in a mixer. 1-3 parts by weight of carbon black are added to this mass as a dye.
The binder is ready and can be used, for example, for briquetting fuels by mixing and pressing with them.
Blue can also just mix talc with soda waterglass and water, for example a binder for briquettes; which only consist of coal dust, since gas water containing tar is not required for this.
Instead of lime, other calcium compounds can be used, such as B. use chalk or plaster. _ The binder produced according to the process described has the advantage that it sticks together in the fire and that the briquette produced with it does not immediately disintegrate as with many other binders and often even extinguish the fire. .
