Von diesen beiden Teilen besteht der vordere aus einer Sammellinse, deren vorderer Brennpunkt am Orte des Kollektivsystems liegt (oder am Orte des von dem Kondensorsystem ent worfenen Bildes der Lichtquelle, falls dieses Bild nicht genau am Orte des Kollektiv systems liegt) ;

Lighting systems for cinematographers. The present invention relates to a lighting system for cinematographers, which is intended to image a light source in the entrance pupil of a projection system, which consists of a plurality of lenses lying next to one another, and a picture window in the vicinity of the image field.
In your new lighting system, on the one hand, a collective system is connected behind a condenser system, which lies approximately at the location of the image of the light source designed by the condenser system and images the exit pupil of the condenser system approximately in the plane of the film window, and on the other hand, it is behind this Collective system, your film window immediately neighbors, an auxiliary condenser system arranged, which is divided into two parts.
Of these two parts, the front consists of a converging lens, the front focal point of which lies at the location of the collective system (or at the location of the image of the light source created by the condenser system, if this image is not exactly at the location of the collective system);
The rear part consists of a plurality of converging lenses, the number of which is equal to that of the projection objectives and each of which images the image of the light source designed by the condenser system in the 17 entrance pupil of the associated projection objective.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment in which the projection system consists of two lenses. The light source, which is indicated by the flame of a candle, is labeled A, the entrance pupils of the two objectives are labeled (E.
P.) 'and (E. P.)' and the condenser system is marked with a. designated. A diaphragm arranged immediately behind this system is equipped with two openings b 'and b'. The collective system is denoted by c. The 1-filf condenser system consists of a large converging lens (l and two small converging lenses e 'and e \. The front focal point of lens d lies in the collective system e, the rear focal point of lens e' lies in the entrance pupil (E.
P.) ', that of the lens e = in the entrance pupil (E.P.)'. Immediately behind the
