Pour chacun des groupes de fils de chaîne c, qui sont au nombre de huit clans le métier représenté, celui-ci comporte une ensouple a montée sur.un cadre b commun à toutes les ensouples a, ainsi que deux pou lies de renvoid g, sur lesquelles le groupe passe à la. sortie de l'ensouple a. et entre les quelles il supporte une poulie e, chargée d'un poids f;
du rouleau k, effectue un plus long parcours que la rive intérieure située du côté bas du rouleau 1,:, du seul fait de l'inclinaison de ce rouleau sur l'horizontale et de l'obliquité de ce der nier yar rapport à. la banquine;
A method of making a curved fabric. The object. of the present invention is a method of making a waisted fabric.
It differs from other known methods of manufacturing a bent fabric in that the warp threads are divided into groups to which unequal tensions are given which increase the groups intended to be on the side of the outer edge. from the fabric to those to be on the inner edge side, so that the warp netting crosses from the second groups to the first ones and produces a bend, of the fabric made.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a weaving loom for carrying out the process.
Figs. 1, 2 and, 3 are a partial rear view, a partial plan, a longitudinal section; Fig. 4 shows a detail.
For each of the groups of warp yarns c, which are eight in number in the loom shown, the latter comprises a beam a mounted on a frame b common to all the beams a, as well as two deflection lice dg, on which the group switches to the. output of the beam a. and between which it supports a pulley e, loaded with a weight f;
the weight / is different. for each of the groups and increases from one side of the fabric to the other, the lowest load, of 1 hg for example, acting on the group corresponding to the outer side of the bent fabric to be manufactured. The various groups, after the pulleys g, pass under bars le common to all, in the re misses i, in the comb j. The formed fabric arrives at a roll h and from there to a drive roll n provided with spikes, then to a guide bar o before reaching the reception.
The closed son equilibrium is obtained in each group c, on the one hand, thanks to a resistance opposed to the rotation. of the corresponding flexible a, on the other hand, thanks to the traction exerted by the driving roller n.
The Iv roller rotates in Z bearings fixed to the basquine m .; on the one hand, it is inclined to the horizontal, descending. from the outer edge of the fabric where the groups of threads are the least stretched, towards the inner bank, where they are the most; on the other hand, it is going away.
(the more and more of the key banquine that @le its ends which correspond to the external bank where the key groups are less tense than that of its ends which corresponds to the inner bank where the groups of threads are the most; at the end of this. spacing, is, weak. It is. provided with the e @ - @ ty of the outer edge of the fabric with a rough lining, in emery cloth, for example. .
The process is carried out as follows. using this embodiment key: We divide the key chain c threads into eight groups which receive closed different increasing voltages. from side to side key the chain and are in balance - each on their own. It follows from this arrangement that the groups of warp threads are present.
on the key side, the outer edge of the fabric, are the least stretched, and those on the side of the inner edge are the most tense. The steaming of the. string being:
stronger when this one is not very tight than when it is very tight, the first groups have a greater muddling than the second ones, for example key 15 to 20 ô higher, which produces a bending of the fabric produced. We surrendered. can easily be counted in fig% 3, the outer laughter key to this tissue, which is at the upper end:
of the roll k, performs a longer course than the inner edge located on the bottom side of the roll 1,:, due only to the inclination of this roll to the horizontal and the obliquity of this last yar in relation to. the banquine;
the loosest strands and those closest to the outer edge pass over a part of the roll k, provided with a rough material, so that they cannot slide on this roll 7- and are cliligated to follow the movement ment ï ## @ general of it due to the. traction exerted by the driving roller n on the fabric, the warp threads are amalgamated by the weft and are therefore immobile with respect to each other. to others.
As a result, the indicated availability of the roll at the inner edge of the fabric tends to rotate the roll 11 with an angular speed greater than that given to it. outer shore; it follows that the son cio the outer edge are driven by the roller k: with a greater speed than that with which advance the son of the inner edge and that, consequently.
between the rollers le and n, la. outer edge is, floating, that is to say pleats, while the interior edge is stretched; it 3-has thus increased the bending already obtained as a result of the differences in steaming.
The process thus implemented has hollow advantages: The organs employed are simple and not cumbersome, unlike what takes place with the key manufacturing processes known key bent fabric, in which one uses cones over which all pass. the warp threads divided into groups and qa: ii are set in motion. by closed channels Galle; the adjustment of these cones is also quite complicated.
The driving force necessary to operate the loom is. much lower, as experience shows, than that required by the above trades.
The fabric obtained by this process presents, provided that the key warp threads are hole in the side of. the outer edge have a strong twist, the advantage of being flexible and elastic on the side of this bank as a result of the large twist given to the groups of corresponding warp yarns.
This extensibility to. the outer edge, combined with the hanger, is of great importance for the use for which the fabric is more specially designed: the manufacture of fleece bands. The latter, thanks to this extensibility, do not slip on the leg and therefore do not compress it in an exaggerated manner, since there is no need for excessive tightening to make them hold on. leg.
The inclination of the roller li with respect to the banquine can be greater than in the drawing; by arranging the Z-bearings in a suitable way, it can be varied while still employing the memo roller '.
The number of groups of key chain threads can naturally differ from eight :.
